So why is it dead?

I think it's for the same reasons that most guilds are dead. Unfortunately Guilds just aren't popular anymore and many of the people that I think that liked Guilds left Gaia a while back because they were fed up with what the current Gaia Interactive administration has been doing to this site. And Guilds don't really have a chance of becoming popular again since the current Gaia Staff don't give a s**t about updating Guilds, so Guilds are pretty much doomed to be dead like this as long as things keep going this way.

Gaia is going to s**t

I would love it if this place was still active... but even when it was at its peak it was still pretty slow :/

We had a big mission here, and we were even pretty effective at sinking gold, but unfortunately we just don't have the same numbers of people helping and we just can't keep up with the inflation :/

uhh I think guilds are far from dead, just this one is.
I think the people who like guilds are.... staying in their guilds and not leaving them to go into the forums LOL I know a lot of guilds like that.

I've known a lot of guilds to die. The first RP guild I ever joined died twice and twice tried to revamp itself. It worked the first revamp. The second not so much. The coding is harder and the forums are a lot slower so people tend to forget about them.
