The Grounds of the 20 acre property closely resemble a well-maintained park, although littered with greenhouses and fountains. The air here is filled with the smell of flowers and birds are well-known moochers of bread crumbs.

Hinanji was relaxing on a bench in the grounds, his hair slick with water, and looking immaculately clean. " -And the Koi were put into a much nicer holding tank until they can grow to a size safe enough for them to go into my pond. So... what's your opinion, Faun?" He turned his head to her with a look of near-apprehension. It was closer to a semi-worried look, in all honesty. His hair had a couple stints of grey, but he would remove the offending strands soon enough.

Leader of the VOC Faun leaned against Hinanji's shoulder as she considered the story she just heard. She was in her gigai, which while looking like her omits the most noteworthy aspects of her appearance, namely the horns, goat legs, tattoo, strangely colored eyes, and multiple visible scars. She very much looked like an average woman in her mid-twenties, checking her phone and leaning on her boy-friend. Of course, appearances are deceiving. Faun typed a message on her phone and showed it to Hinanji. - it sounds fishy. pun intended. like he wants to sell you something. i dont like the gotei but i dont want them fighting eachother in town. what did he say about that- She smirked a bit as she read over her own joke. Her relationship with Hinanji was a bit peculiar due to their respective positions, but she valued it nonetheless. Besides, the Quincy and the Visored have no reason not to get along, and the benefits of getting along are many.

Squinting to read the text on Faun's phone, Hinanji smirked. "Well, he swore that he wanted no harm to befall the world of the living, and that his only quarrel was with the Seireitei. He only wants us to become neutral, and leave him to battle against the Seireitei. Personally... I will see how it all plays out. My answer to him will depend on what all the other quincies say, however. No matter what... this is a delicate situation..." He sighed and shook his head, clearing his thoughts. "Enough of that. How are things here going?"

Leader of the VOC Faun frowned. She does not like knowing so little about the leader of such a prominent faction as the Espada, but there is little she could do about that. Aside from him coming to meet her personally, there is little to do to fix that. Unlike the Gotei, she has nobody in the Arrancar's ranks who can give her an assessment of his personality, and it would be far too risky to seek him out intentionally... Still, no need to needle Hinanji any further about the matter. He can't be expected to know the arrancar's life story after one encounter after all. Faun smiled and typed up a new message. - i have enough money to add a new facility but i cant decide what to add. stuck between a theatre space or a swimming pool- She stuck her tongue out at Hinanji as she showed him that one. The thought of him thinking of her in a swim suit put a smile on her face.

Once again squinting to read the message typed up on her phone, Hinanji nodded. "Well, a swimming pool opens a plethora of options to help people improve their health. We use the pool at the hospital to help people with recent spinal chord injuries or other mobility problems to reduce their recovery time significantly. It does wonders, in the long run. A theatre, of course, is a nice reward for youth that has done well in their school work, or something along those lines."
He smirked and looked around, taking in the fine grounds. "Also, Jasmine has been invited to this meeting. She should be here after her meeting with the assembled captains is over."

Leader of the VOC Faun began to type out a new message - not a movie theater dummie a performance theatre. teach kids acting and set design. useful- Then Hinanji mentioned Jasmine coming. Faun stopped dead. After a pause, she sat up and deleted the unfinished message. She quickly typed a new message and showed it to him with a serious face. - whats this about- Springing a surprise visit from the most powerful shinigami alive on Faun with not a lot of warning, especially with the political situation being what it is... Leads to wondering if there's something Hinanji isn't telling her.

When Faun simply asked what this was about, Hinanji smiled. "Well It's been so long since the three of us met together. Seeing the state of the world, I figured it was time for us all to get together and see to it that no one is going to be doing any backstabbing, or any such thing. Mostly... I just wanted to see to it that the Head Captain understood the ground upon which we all stand: and for her to remember that you are, in fact, still neutral. She has a fierce temper, and while I don't suspect she'll make any rash, ill informed decisions, I don't want to leave anything to chance. Best to make it perfectly crystal clear that you're not on either side, right?" He did his best to smile, but it came out as little more than his normal smirk. He did truly mean well by this. "I figured the outcome would be better if you didn't have time to rehearse. Makes it sound more sincere and heartfelt, right?"
He paused a moment after speaking, and sighed tiredly. "Also... do me a favor, and don't mention my meeting with Sestran to her? I don't know for sure what ground I stand on with all this yet, and I don't want you dragged down with me should Jasmine accuse me of breaking our treaty. Do you understand what I mean?"

Leader of the VOC After a looooong stare, Faun finally blinked and sighed. No point in complaining now, damage already done. He -is- completely correct, Jasmine isn't the most stable personality. There is no drawback to reaffirming the VOC's neutrality in this situation. Still, wouldn't do to let Hinanji think he can act on her behalf without telling her first... She typed a message and showed it to Hinanji - you know if you keep making decisions for me people will think we're married.- the look on her face was half amusement and half coy.

Hinanji stared right back at Faun as she stared at him, his expression not wavering. She blinked and sighed, and he did the same. Her response left him flat footed for a second, and he just sat there and stared. He eventually let loose into a short series of chuckles. "Hahahahahahahha.... oooohhh... hah... I would like to live in a world where such a thing is possible, I truly do. You are a good person, Faun. Too good to be dragged into a conflict like this. To be seen with someone like me. Heh..." His smile turned a little morose, and he looked off into a middle distance of no real distinction or direction.

Leader of the VOC Faun put her arms around Hinanji's shoulders and hugged him tightly. She rested her head on his shoulder and stayed like that for a long minute before letting him go. She typed and showed him: - youre a better man than you think. dont forget that.
and in all seriousness dont spring something like this on me again. not appreciated. bad hinanji-

When Faun hugged him, Hinanji began to pull away, but stopped himself. He had forgotten how affectionate the woman tended to be with him, in all the trouble of the last day or so. It had startled him: caught him flat footed and unsuspecting. A couple of emotions flared, and he dismissed them with as practiced a hardened heart as he could. It didn't do much, but he tried his best anyway. He actually found himself leaning back into her for a moment or two before reading her message.
And he chuckled. He let out a god's honest little laugh at the notion of being scolded by a mute satyr woman in a human looking Gigai. "I apologize, but you know I play things close to the chest. My specialty, you know?"

Leader of the VOC Seeing him relax a bit was encouraging. He's been a good friend, and he's very very pretty when he's smiling. Hmm, couldn't hurt. She typed a new message. -speaking of your specialties how long before she gets here- she showed this to him while looking up at him through her eyelashes and running a single finger up his shoulder. With a little luck, it might be a while before Jasmine arrives, and a little fun never hurt anyone.

With the somehow outright coyness of the woman's question, Hinanji groaned in annoyance. "What, long week for you? I swear, you only ever think of two things. And to answer your question, I think she should be here within half an hour. I told her to meet us here, anyway." Even though his words rang of protest, he tensed a bit as her finger ran up his shoulder, then relaxed. At least they both knew how to act quickly. "I swear, you're as hopeless as a teenager with that libido. Why do I put up with it again? Oh yes, you get me drunk!" Though his words would seem a harsh rebuttal, they were said in a way Faun would be able to tell was the closest Hinanji came to 'teasingly'.
