Quinn bounced to the bar after the previous song had finished playing and got herself a bottled water. Her heart was pounding in her chest, still keeping the beat of the music despite the rest of her taking a break. The crack of the seal breaking couldn't be heard over the music but she felt it and grinned. She was very careful (read: paranoid) about her drinks being spiked, so she liked to stick to bottled drinks when she was out. She downed half the bottle in one go and recapped it, keeping it in one hand. She'd been here for half an hour so far, after finally putting the finishing touches on her most recent class project. A break was definitely in order, and so she'd come to her favorite club to release some of the stress and tension that had been plaguing her for the last couple weeks. It would be even better if she could find someone to go home with, but she could do without that kind of release if she had to. For now, she would make do with music and dancing unless someone caught her eye. Leaning against the bar, she'd meant to take a break from dancing but already her hips were twitching to the beat of the current song and her feet were carrying her back to the dance floor. Unoderi I suck at RP titles. This is what happens when I let Quinn name things xDD also hope this is an okay start ;w;

Sometimes all Minoru needed was a change of scenery to take his mind off his problems. Normally, he preferred the quietness of June Nights, but sometimes the thumping music of a club was better to drown out his frustrations. He sat at the bar sipping a beer, his fingers feeling odd without a smoke to match. While he mostly kept to himself, glancing at people here or there, someone to his right piqued his interest.
Damn, she's cute, he thought to himself. Yet, before he had a chance to say something, she was already back to the dance floor. That was enough to bring him to his feet and join the throng of people with her.
While he didn't have the best moves, Minoru did manage to bring himself by Quinn. "Hey," he said, dipping low so she could hear him over the music. "Care for a dance?"

Quinn turned when she heard a voice near her ear, a smile curving her lightly glossed lips. A quick glance confirmed the rest of him was just as cute as his face and she nodded, turning to face him fully. "Sure thing, cutie," she grinned. Dancing with a partner was always better than doing so alone. True, her dancing involved a lot of bouncing and hip swaying, but she had never been self-conscious about the way she moved. It was fun, and that was what mattered to her. "Come here often?" she said over the music with a smirk and a quirk of her eyebrow, showing she knew exactly how cliche the question was. Minoru's attempt at getting into the music was akin to a gesticulating actor on stage. Dancing wasn't within him greatest talents, but if no one paid attention or was drunk enough, they'd probably accept it as satisfactory. Probably.
Minoru's lips pried back to reveal a pearly, sheepish smile. "A-actually, no, I don't," he said, a little louder now over the music instead of dipping down low. Both of them moving made it a little hard to hold a conversation. "I usually prefer quieter places, but I thought a change of pace and scenery would do me some good. How 'bout you?"

"This is my favorite place to unwind," she answered with a laugh. She moved a little closer to him, under the guise of being better able to be heard. "How about we go somewhere quieter now?" She had already danced off most of her excess energy and stress and now that she was relaxed, she wanted to have some real fun. Or at the very least something to eat. Without really waiting for an answer, she took hold of one of his hands and tugged him back toward the edges of the club, where the noise level was low enough to permit conversation without too much shouting.

To say Minoru was pleased would be an understatement. Sealing the space between himself and another body, to the teal-haired male, was a better indication of trust than mere words alone. He dipped his chin at her when he felt her fingers on his hand and followed without argument.
Not that he would put up some anyway, especially with such a cute girl.
"Your name, mind me asking it?" he said gently despite the thrum of the music getting lower with their descent. "I'm Minoru, Min if you prefer."

"I don't mind at all," she said with a smile tossed over her shoulder at him. She chuckled internally at the rhyme their names made. It was cute, but she wasn't one of those girls who thought that it 'meant' anything. She was far from the clingy type. "I'm Quinn. Pleased to meet you, Min." Once they'd reached a place in the club where they were able to talk over the music still rumbling in the background, she took a seat at one of the booths and slid all the way to the inside. Just in case he'd rather sit next to her than across. "So Min," she started, "Where is it you like to go usually?"

"Min. Quinn. Heh," Minoru commented, giving a small, amused laugh. "Cute. It's a pleasure, Quinn."
Despite the contact, he chose the seat opposite her. Didn't want to come on too strong. Sliding a stray lock behind his ear, he said, "There's this bar I drink at in downtown D.C. known as June Nights. Not the most prettiest of places, but its quiet. I can think there, though I do like clubs as well. For dancing and the like." He leaned forward. "And you?"

She chuckled softly when he noticed the same she did about their names. "It is cute, isn't it?" she laughed. She listened as he told her about his usual hang out and wrinkled her nose a bit. Quinn was not one for quiet places. Even when she studied or tinkered with her parts she had headphones in, blasting her latest favorite music loud. "This is where I usually come. Quiet isn't usually my thing," she said with a smile. "Plus they play all my favorite music here."
