Elykosi
Elykosi breed by using their magic to break off a small piece of their crystal hearts. Those pieces, imbued with their romantic feelings, fuse together and shatter. Each shard absorbs the mana around it and becomes a small wisp. (Same-sex pairings are allowed)
++Types of Breedings
Mystery Breeding - When available, this type of breeding lets you submit an eligible Elykosi into the "mixing pot". At the end of the event, pairs are randomized, so the outcomes will be a surprise~ These are always free. Breeding Slot - Every now and then, colorists will open up breeding slots, or slots will become available during an event. Depending on the artist, they may either be speed-based, colorist choice, raffle-based, or a mixture of those types. Bribes - Bribes are always available, make an offer that's higher than the base prices and hope the artist accepts!
++Prices
Unedited - 2 billion gold Edited - 10 billion gold Growing - Growing litters are 1.5x the base price.
++Litter Sizes
Elykosi litters have a minimum of 2 kits. There is a chance for a third, and twins are at the artist's discretion. (Twins will always be male/female fraternal)
You can increase the litter size through: RP - Complete an RP between the parents (1 full page minimum) to increase the litter size by one. Newbie - Know someone with 2 or less Elykosi? Name them to increase the litter size by one. You must give them one from the breeding! Ascended - Increase the litter size by one for each parent that is Ascended. Heart Crystal - Use this item during a breeding to increase the litter size by one.
The maximum litter size is 8 kits. There is a breeding cooldown of 2 months for both parents. Their crystal hearts need time to heal up after all! At the moment, there is no maximum number of breedings for a given Elykosi.

How do Breedings Work?
♦ Basically speaking, when a pair of Elykosi want to have children, they perform a ritual, where a piece from each of their Heart Crystals breaks off and fuse together into a new crystal. That crystal then shatters further, dividing into a heart crystal for each kit in the litter.
♦ This means that Elykosi can breed regardless of gender, but also that they must have a resting period after breeding, for their Heart Crystals to heal up.The limit is that each Elykosi can only breed once per two months. So if they got a breeding in April (even if it's at the end of April), they will have to wait until June begins to breed again.
♦ Right now there are two types of breedings. There's your traditional paired slots, where you find a partner and enter your Elykosi together, and you can potentially get more kits via RP-ing together, or using Heart Crystals. Then there's the mystery slots, where you enter your Elykosi alone, and I will randomize pairs, so you don't know who you might pair up with! Reminder that same-sex pairs are a thing in this shop, so if your Elykosi is strictly heterosexual or homosexual, you probably shouldn't enter into the mystery slots, you never know who you'll get!.
♦ Also note that the mystery slots are not eligible for RP, newbie, or Heart Crystal additions to litter size. They will always be 2-3 kits with a potential extra for Ascended Elykosi.
Things to Note
♦ Remember that breedings cost money
♦ Each person can submit two breeding forms per month. Can be two paired slots, two mystery slots, one of each, etc.
♦ Though you can post two forms per month, you can only win one breeding per month. Paired slots will be chosen/rolled first, then mystery slots.
♦ Accessories (edits that aren't part of your Elykosi's body) that your Elykosi "came with" have a chance to be passed down to children, but they might not be carbon copies or in the same place. Accessories that were bought or won and then added to your Elykosi cannot be passed down via breedings.
You are allowed to post two forms to each colorist's thread per month for breedings. But you can only win one breeding per month. Remember the Rules. Especially about naming.
•notes from Sela• I may alternate between which kind of breeding slots are open, or a may do some of each. Paired breedings, make sure both owners agree with the pairing. Mystery breedings.. I will roll for the first parent, and then the second. These will be random, so be sure you're fine with that.
I may CC extra slots when I feel like it. These will come from the paired group, not from mystery.
Once you get a slot, start a trade to Selalusia asap. That is when I will start working on them. It's up to you parents to decide how to split payment (usually half and half). Or if one parent wants to pay all that is fine. Mystery breedings are free!
Note on Bribes: I will consider accepting bribes. However, my wishlist is not accurate. So it may not help you any xD
