If he wasn't ment to be gay than with those pictures they fooled me. But it also looks to be more laid back than he is in the game.

Yeah, in the pictures it does make Riku seem alot more like a laid back Riku. Too bad we didn't see more of that in the game...it would have made me love Riku all the more, not that I don't already fall head over heels for him. xd

I do believe Riku was meant to be homosexual. I mean first of all if he loved Kairi he could have won her with his charms, good-looks, and ....everything else he has. ^_^ He's won me already!!!
And his pose when he talks to Kairi-putting his hands on his waist that's so .......HOMOSEXUAL!!!!!!
"Your just as lazy as he...." C'mon THAT pose made me wonder. Not to mention the way he looks at Sora.....and other stuff.
Yup, no doubty Riku was meant to be homosexual...and only the smart ones would figure that out ^_^!!! heart heart heart

Ahahahaha, those sketches are funny, I'm sure the artists who were making KH were just having fun. I'm not sure if Disney would let homosexualty in their stuff though.

Actually... if you pay attention during the disney movies - and I mean REALLY pay attention, you see some pretty suggestive stuff... And it's kinda staring you in the face... You just have to know where to look. Let me put it this way - Aladdin + Clouds + Subliminal Imagry + Certain Words = ???

 Now, in this picture, Riku is show higher than Kairi, indicating more prominance in the picture... and as Sora appears to be the main charecter of said photo, the positioning of all other charecters are in relation to him, possibly in order of importance... Just some random psychology babble... Might be crap for all I know. But getting back to the topic of his sexuality, we don't see that much info in this picture indictaing that. However, he is shown in a rather... graceful, moon-light type maner, instead of as hard and masculin... attitue-wise, anyway. More like silk. More later...

I know in the movie Aladdin: Prince of Theives they had Aladdin at the end look down at Jasmine's area moving his eye brows up and down.

 Here he appears to have a relaxed and contemplative attitued. The picture also appears to be making a refrence to him being a one winged angel... (haha) But in terms of sexuality, I see no real indication here. More later...

Hmmm...It's interesting to look at the official art from a psychological point-of-view...
In the KH cover art, do you think it's significant that Riku is facing to the right, while everyone else is facing left? (I noticed that the other day while I was staring at my strategy guide...XD)
Also, on some of the other KH art, one might notice that Kairi is usually depicted between Sora and Riku...I wonder if that has something to do with the whole Sora = Sky, Riku = Land, and Kairi = The horizon that separates them argument? Think it's a possibility?
Oh, and as far as the argument as to whether or not Riku was originally meant to be homosexual, I honestly don't know where I stand. It's not that I don't think he and Sora belong together (Hell, I wouldn't be here if I did! XD), but I guess I feel that in a situation like theirs, the feelings they share don't need to have a label.
Because they're best friends and have known each other their entire lives, the progression of their relationship just...is. I really don't know how to explain it. I think that what I'm trying to get across is that Riku feels the way he does about Sora because of who he is, and his personality, rather than simply the fact that he's a cute boy. ...You know what I mean? =/
I personally don't think that his sexual orientation can be determined by a few sketches. Actually, to be honest, the analysis sounds somewhat stereotypical...
But, as always, that's just me...^^;

As for him facing the right, it indicates how he's rejecting his past and old belifes, and is walking a different path than the others (dark, instead of light). Also supporting this is that they look up to the stars and the light of the moon, whereas Riku's looking down into the shadows.
