Apparently people going into public lobbies with hacks has become even more of a thing now.
It's to the point that they were even used during the current Splatfest.
There's also been said that a well known Splatoon player is working with someone else to make a gear editor (I'm not sure if it's out yet). I'm pretty sure you're gonna see a lot of people with triples running around soon. Either way, keep a sharp eye out, and report people if needed.
I've already read that some people are being banned, but the most they're getting is 2 weeks.

Ohh man... that stuff is crazy. I would be so annoyed if I played against one of these hacker ppls. D;

From what I read it mostly happens in turf war. Some people have seen it in ranked, but it's rare. I guess it depends on what you enjoy playing the most. Still, I don't know if I would be really upset or amused. <<;

Ohhh I see. I've been trying to get 10k points for all the weapons so I've been playing more turf recently. It's definitely amusing how crazy and ridiculous some of those hacks are, but I would get annoyed because it is cheating :/
