Pyrophanite had taken to the streets after the recent activites in the negaverse. With a new queen to answer too (though she was no Metallia right?) and general queens and kings, it left the captain wondering what was in store for the once loose military organization.
Not that he mattered for it anyways, like corrupted senshi, the young half youma was well...outcasted really.
He snagged a homeless man and then let him drop. There was a brief flash of the power of a page on his radar, but he knew the page wasn't bothering to come closer. Perhaps it was someone who learned their lesson the last time they had met?
-------
Beringia hated the aura of chaos, and that he was facing the strength of a captain once again. Without Sedna, the young man was practically useless against them. But he could trail along and take note of the damage that was being done.
Trailing after the victim, one step behind. He wondered how long he would have to suffer the battlefield like this. If only someone stronger then him would join in the knight.
"Vhat, Acting like Senda now is no way to behave." He muttered to himself.

Arias had just finished work; it wasn't anything out of the ordinary—unless you counted the extra hour it had taken him to close up while he dragged his feet. He hadn't been powering up much, but he was too nervous to stay at home. He kept expecting the worst—to get jumped in his own house, or to have some hand plunging into his chest to corrupt him.
Powering up seemed safer than risking a quick corruption.
He had been oblivious to the other powered individuals in the area; he exited the bakery and meandered a few alleys away to power up. After making sure no one was around, he transformed into Newgrange—and seemed a little surprised when his radar seemed to go crazy. He was near another page—and realized just how near it was when he walked out of the alley and spotted him.
For a moment he was stunned, but he couldn’t help but move over to the man and clear his throat when he noticed him…talking to himself? To someone else?
The tingle of a Chaos signature made goosebumps sprout on his skin, but he wasn't alone. "Hey," he called, trying to get the Page's attention. He waved, and moved over to him. "…What are you doing out here?"
…A stupid question, probably, and one he regretted asking. He tried to cover it up by offering a quick, "I mean—there's a Negaverse Agent close by, right? …Is it just one, do you know? —Or who it is?"
Probably a stupid question, but Whisler had threatened to join them, and now…
For some reason, he just assumed any one of them could have been sent by him.

Beringia didn't jump at the presence, and turned his head slowly at the other knight, staring at his attire. It didn't match that of Polaris, with its greens and browns. Almost Earthy tones. Polaris had said once that there was other knights, and that he was hers.
So who did this one belong too?
"Is not obvious?" Beringia scoffed at the young man and then looked back, "Further in, is dangerous agent. Have face before." He grumbled, "Spouts poison from mouth, almost killed. So I am debating if my life, vorth more? Or to help the veak he has preyed on."
--------
Pyro could feel TWO rats now in his aura, and his head lifted, looking for the heat signatures of two people. It was hard to see with the concrete and pipes, but just faintly on the otherside was two figure. If they were powered, he didn't know, but he also didn't care.
Two more starseeds were better then none at all right?
He moved to stalk the two new creatures, slithering his way from the shadows towards the knights.

Newgrange raised a brow but nodded, more out of habit than out of understanding. "Do you want some help?" he prompted after a few seconds of consideration. Two against one were better odds, and he was willing to stick his neck out if it meant helping someone else—civilian or Knight.
He jutted out his hand in quick introduction and said, "I'm Newgrange, Squire of Earth. So if you want backup, maybe we can take care of the agent—or chase him out of here, at least."
His eyes were scanning the area and the hair on the back of his neck was standing up; he had the distinct impression that they were being watched, but it was easy to attribute it to his nerves. There was a definite signature on his radar, even if he didn't know where it was, but that alone was enough to make him nervous—and expect the worst.

Beringia took the hand before grunting, "Beringia, of Polaris." he nodded, "You are man of rank, if vill help, then I vill take it." Beringia didn't think they could defeat the agent but he was for sure all about that chasing away.
At least to a different area, and maybe the agent would think twice about coming here? The aura felt closer now and Beringia let the man's hand go almost immediately.
Call it his gut instinct from war, or just gut, but the agent had finally noticed them, and he was sure he was coming soon. "Prepare self. Do not breathe in gas." Beringia motioned.
----------
"I see that one boy here hasn't learned his lesson." Pyrophanite practically oozed from the shadows, coming upon the two little knights in their powow.
"And he brought a new little friend to challenge me? How very kind, two knight starseeds for one?" He hissed and smiled at the brown haired earth knight.
"So, how are we going to do this? You want me, actually it doesn't matter." Pyro teleported, stumbling right behind Beringia and shoving the man out of the way with enough force that the knight hit the wall hard.

Newgrange barely had time to commit the Page's name to mind when they were attacked. Instinctively, he wanted to turn around and ask if Beringia was all right, but that seemed like something he could save for a time when they were both certainly all right. He didn't want to give this new enemy an opening.
The teleportation didn't seem flawless, so Newgrange had to hope that he was still getting used to the ability—and that he had just spent enough energy to give them a decent boost in the battle.
Newgrange was not, by nature, a fighter, but that didn't mean that he hadn't spent the past few years playing hopscotch with his enemies. He didn't like violence, but he didn't shy from its use when it seemed there was no other option.
He didn't try to speak to the agent; if he was going to hold his breath, there wasn't going to be a lot of options to speak so he wanted to make it count.
"—Are you all right?" he asked Beringia, as if there was much that he could really do if he weren't, and charged towards the Captain. He did not have a weapon, but he didn't see the Captain with one, either. He heeded the Page's warning and inhaled a sizable breath before he got too close. He charged the Captain with his full weight, intending to shove him against the wall as he had Beringia.

Beringia hit the wall hard, taking the breath out of him. He covered his mouth almost immediately just in case Pyro tried to pump the gas out of his mouth and into the air.
"Fine." The russian said as he pushed himself up, "Be careful." He took a moment, took a breath and also dived in.
----
Pyro laughed as the page hit the wall hard, hearing the small impact was almost delightful in its own way. The squire though was going to be a problem. As he came to shove at him, Pyro reached out to grab his arm.
From his mouth a thick haze of smoke started to escape. "How long can you hold your breath there, Squire?" Pyro spewed as the gas* escaped. Kyuseisha no Hikari *Poison Fog Pyro breathes out a large cloud of poison, that remains stagent in the air. It causes mild dizziness and paralyzing of limbs up to at least 30 seconds. The haze is a thick black smog, and can be inhaled or absorbed through skin. Only Pyro can move through the haze without being effected.

Newgrange instinctively squinted his eyes when the fog began to roll from his mouth, but the grip on his arm prevented him from being too alarmed. He tried to jerk his arm away from the man even as he drew his other hand back and tried to deliver a punch to his face.
He couldn’t hold his breath forever; fighting put a strain on what air he’d already gulped down and he knew he’d need to breath soon. His eyes burned from the strange cloud of black smoke, nad he could have sworn he felt the skin on his face stinging.
He was glad that his uniform managed to cover most of his skin, but it was a small relief. He was starting to feel dizzy—from the poison, or not breathing, he didn’t know.
But he needed to free himself from Pyrophanite’s grip—and hopefully get a hit or two in before he retreated from this proximity.
…If he could.

Beringia also watched the smoke pour out and knew that there would be no time to stop the poison from affecting him and his new hero. In order to save them both, he took a broken pallet board and smacked Pyro in the head, stunning the snake and stopping the smoke. Pyro's grip loosened on Newgrange and Beringia took advantage, grabbing the other man around the waist and lifting.
"Vill leave now." He muttered, even though he could feel the poison slowly draining from him. "Move as fast as can, away." He said to the squire though he could also barely move himself.
----
Pyro yelped in pain as he saw stars, blood flowing from the hit on the head and cursing as he looked at the ground. There was no point in chasing the two stupid fools, not when he was pretty sure he'd have a concussion or something serious.
Everything was swimming, but he'd remember that both of those knights really screwed him over. He'd be back for them soon!

Newgrange waved at the air in front of him, even after Pyro had fled. He found himself coughing shortly afterwards, but he was breathing in fresh, clean air and his head was already starting to feel a bit better. Although, he could tell that he was done for the night; he wanted to get home and take a shower and wash this tingling filth off of him.
“Yeah,” he said, between coughs. Speaking didn’t seem like a wise idea, and he was happy to take an excuse to go home. “Good plan. See you around,” he concluded, offering a faint wave before he turned away from the other Knight. If they were lucky, they’d meet up again under less hostile circumstances. For now, Newgrange would just be happy to be out of the area in case the Agent decided to return with reinforcements.
