Since Oba was literally a stones throw away she thought that she could hop on over and try her hand at fighting some of the beasts again. V’demhe liked that the harsh conditions created tough skinned beasts. But this time she came across something interesting. A feline. Only, it had no hair! Dem had seen them before, of course, but never up close and never in a situation where the blasted thing bared it’s claws and wanted to bite her. The colors of the cat and it’s crystals were interesting to her and she had to wonder if they were as varied as the Janarim had been.
Giving her full attention to the beast as it came in for an attack she moved to the side quickly and brought her hand down to knock it to the side. Since she was so much larger than the poor thing she didn’t want to actually hurt it. Dem was being gentle. The perzi came at her again and this time she stayed in place just so that she could grab the beast out of the air and toss it to the side. It was her hope that this would stun the creature and she would be able to pin it down. So when the cat landed in the sand she was upon it in an instant and holding it with both hands so that she could try to figure out how to tame the beast. This was much smaller than what she was used to dealing with.

As she sat there thinking of what to do in order to tame the beast she had pinned to the hot sands it started to wriggle. The perzi wanted to get free and it seemed very determined. Dem frowned as she felt that if she pushed down any harder she would cause serious damage to the beast. And since she hadn’t knocked it out she couldn’t just leave it there and walk over to her gear to find a lead line. When the creature gave a growl she blinked then sighed. V’demhe had no other choice but to let the animal go. While she would have loved to keep the perzi, with it’s gorgeous skin tone and shiny crystals, she had no justifiable way to keep it in line. Violence wasn’t going to work since she wasn’t out to maim the poor thing.
Moving to get up she made sure her legs were outside of the swiping distance of the animal then released it. Dem moved back quickly to avoid any retaliation it would make. Once it was free the perzi got up then took off running without looking back. Clearly it wanted to make a clean and quick getaway.
