The Rubble has settled, and J'ax stares off into the distance as the last remaining member of Red Squad. Seireite has an underground dark side most think that demons are the Hollows, but don't understand that the true Demons are the Branded locked into service of the Seireite. The Red Squad had to do the worst of tasks and remove any undesirable souls from the world, the few that commit suicide where our targets. At least we where not the Death Reapers those that targeted those that did not obey the rules or found to much about soul society in the mortal world. These brands that are burned into my skin still hurt and I will have my revenge on the Soul Society I will make them all vanish. The fools in the 12 Division..............
OOC: Thoughts I not sure where any of the current RP is going, but I thought of this just in a few moments and wanted to get it down. I not sure if this is the correct place if there is one in creating a character. I was sort of thinking of like a quincy the branded create energy weapons that can destroy/ purify a soul. It still a work in progress.

OOC:
Any place is good.
The current status of Soul Society in "Desolate", Seireitei is pretty much rubble, most if not all the old Captains are dead, there are about a couple hundred spirits floating around (most don't have legs)...and it's been a good three hundred years of wasteland. Basically the old structures do not really exist, but there are remnants.
So pretty much J'ax has achieved his objective already. There is no "soul society" left. Now...
I would theorize to get this into the story, was that this takes place just after the destruction of Soul Society. J'ax perishes not long after and is reborn, then dies again returning to Soul Society by will although lacking a majority of their memories. That would give you some character development to delve into and a possible turncoat in our midst if/when they get all of their old memories back.
A suicide squad, would definitely be a different vein to what soul society has already offered us, so I do like it. It would certainly take the story in a dark direction.
