 On the corner of Maiden and 6th, a neon all-seeing eye flickers to life after months of quiet darkness. A short, slim figure can be seen through the many layers of thin scarves and beads that serve as curtains. In the hours between late and early, a familiar and soothing monotone can once again be heard on air waves of the local radio station.
The tourist season has begin in Ashdown, and with that steady stream of eager revenue comes the return of Madame Sindri: Mystic and New Age Guide.

 The Mystic:
Owns Madame Sindri's as a business front. Is only open during the summer months.
On weekday evenings has a small show with the local radio station, from 2am to 4:00 aim called The Quiet Hours. Listen to her pleasant monotone as she walks listeners through various sleep, relaxation, and meditation exercises. Be careful though, sometimes her descriptions become calm introductions to nightmare material.
She is a very sincere con, in that she is not actually magical, is aware of this and will absolutely make things up and use fairly mundane methods in her fortunetelling, but she also sincerely believes in the power of belief itself. She is, in the end, fairly well-meaning.
Has been regularly opening shop for the tourist months for a good fifteen years
She offers discounts for good stories and leads on interesting items with spiritual significance.

Spends the winter traveling, learning, picking up odds and ends, usually related to matters of religion/spirituality.
Lives in an apartment above her business.
