The sun was high in the Oban sky, and the world around them was bustling with activity. Even hidden away in the belly of the Red Amaryllis, the three triplets that belonged to the owner were quite the bundles of energy. It was a rare occurrence for them to be on site, normally they were able to be watched by their grand mother or by their aunt if they were lucky. Today, no one was to spare to watch the kids, and so they spent their time in the manager's wing of the building trying to find something to occupy their young minds.

It was a bit of a disaster waiting to happen.

Aeuri sat silently as he watched his two more boisterous siblings, specifically his twin brother. He was content to behave, but even he was itching to get something done. They couldn't leave the building, but maybe they could sneak out to the private gardens. Their mother really didn't seem to mind if they spent time outside, and the tall walls meant they wouldn't be snatched away but curious locals.

Shifting as the first sign of distress, he moved quickly to his feet and approached his brother and sister with a small smile. Maybe, they too would enjoy going out in the open and spending some time running around. All he had to do was ask.

Nasuri sat in her mother’s chair at the desk barely able to look over the desk. The desk itself was kept impeccably clean and orderly thanks to her mother, and Nasuri wanted to climb on and see the world from a higher point. It wasn’t like there was anything else to do while their mother was away and Itotia seemed to also have disappeared off somewhere. Their father was busy too, and so she stayed with her two brothers. Aeuri was somewhere in the room but she couldn’t see him from where she was and Orin wasn’t far either.

Pulling herself up, Nasuri stretched out her arms to see if she could grab the other side of the desk and pull herself. Then tentatively she placed one foot on the desk and pushed herself up on it. There she’d made it. Crossing her legs under her, Nasuri sat atop the desk and gave Aeuri a smile and wave.

“Made it!” She yelled out to him.

Orin busied himself with whatever he could find, poking through the bookshelves, ruffling through papers, occasionally pulling some trinket out before shoving back into place, until he saw Nasuri climbing onto their mother's desk. With a devious grin he raced from the bookshelf to under the desk, and just as she shouted 'Made it!' he jumped up hard and bumped underneath where Nasuri was standing.

He jumped out from under the desk and onto the chair and swung his feet. What would they possibly be doing all day in here? An hour in and he was already bored out of his mind, he thought with a huff.

Aeuri, mid move, watched as his sister settled high atop the desk. He took on a frown quite like his fathers for a moment, before letting it slip off and shrugging. He knew well enough that his siblings were excitable, and liked a challenge, but they also were quite capable of taking care of themselves. And even if they did fall, they were the first to get back up and keep moving.

That was until he saw his brother cause some chaos, and shook his head before taking a deep breath.

"Let's go to the gardens!" He shouted out in his offer, "Mama doesn't mind, we are still at home! Let's go!"

He shifted his feet from left to right, watching his siblings with wide eyes and a hopeful smile while waiting for their response. It was always a bit of a challenge to get them to agree if it was something they weren't too concerned about, and he hoped they liked the idea of sneaking out to the gardens.

The sudden bump on the desk made Nasuri lose her balance slightly, her hands shot out so she could rebalance and not fall off. She spotted Aeuri and then immediately assumed it was Orin.

“Orin!” Nasuri screeched, getting down on her knees and looking under the desk just as Orin was making a run for it. she watched him go before resettling to sit on the desk and watch her brothers.

“The gardens?” Nasuri said as she turned her attention to her other brother. Well this was an interesting idea and certainly better than just sitting around here and doing nothing or waiting for Itotia to come back. “Yes let’s go!” Nasuri began her descent from the desk, landing softlyon her feet before running off the door and opening it wide in one large motion. “Come on you guys!” She called after her brothers before running off down the hall.

Orin barked out a laugh as Nasuri instantly knew it was him and shouted his name. He snickered to himself. It was too easy really.

When Aeuri mentioned the gardens Orin pulled himself out from under the desk and shrugged his shoulders. "Yeah, let's go outside." He agreed with his other two siblings. Nasuri was already way ahead of them both, she had the door open and everything, so all Orin had to do was just waltz right though.

It was hot in Oba, so hot, but at least they weren't wearing their ridiculous festival outfits anymore. With just a thin pair of short on, Orin was feeling much better about the heat. It was almost nice, very dry and easy to soak up.

Nasuri seemed interested, and when she easily moved away from the desk and toward the door, Aeuri knew it was a small success. It was Orin that was the more stubborn of his siblings, and so he quickly tried to find where his brother ended up. Thankfully, the laughter helped quite a bit.

That, and his easy response. Well, he was a playful brother and loved to cause trouble. Why not go to the gardens where they could still explore. As of now, they seemed to already know the office from top to bottom.

So, Orin led the way, and Aeuri was slow enough to let Nasuri go out next before he made sure to close the door behind them. It'd give them some time for no one to catch them wandering about.

"Let's not get seen, ok?"

And thus, they were off to the quickest path to the private gardens behind the Red.

“Okay,” Nasuri agreed with her brother before she slowed her pace and tried not to breathe so hard even if she already wasn’t making noise she tried to be even quieter. The upper halls were always reserved for her other and Itotia, here it was easy to avoid people. The trick would be making it to the gardens without being seen in the busier halls. Nasuri peered down the steps, spotted a couple of people moving up and down and waited until there was silence. She knew it would be a short window before others used the stairs.

“Okay, all clear,” she whispered to her brother before beginning her decent while tiptoeing down. There was also the possibility that Itotia would return to check on them and spot them leaving. They’d be in big trouble if that was the case. Nasuri picked up her speed then, wanting to race down the steps without tripping and falling. She made it to the bottom floor before someone entered the stairs and Nasuri quickly hide behind the steps, hushing her brothers to follow her and hide until the person had gone.

The three of them made it through the hallway and down the staircase before Nasuri hushed them all and motioned for them to hide. Orin did what he was told but with a roll of his eyes. What was she so worried about anyways? There was no way they would get caught. It just sounded over dramatic to him.

The person came and went none the wiser and Orin charged for the back door leading to the garden. They were so close. Orin grabbed onto the doorknob and yanked it open, slowing it down just at the very last moment so it wouldn't make a banging noise. "You guy coming or what?" he whispered back at the others.

Aeuri, behind the others, was much more subdued and continued to look over his shoulder. Each of the shadows seemed to house someone he was hiding from. His mother. His Father. Itotia. The kids who picked on him when he was alone outside.

Everyone seemed keen to catch him and take him back for punishment. Instead, they made it down the stairs and Aeuri stilled with the others. He held his breath, swallowing when the person passed and Orin charged ahead.

Hissing out a shush, Aeuri looked back behind him and let out a sigh.

"Let's go before someone hears us!" And then, he rushed past his siblings outside into the heat, covering his eyes for a moment before the private gardens came in to view. At least here the only people who would find them were their parents, so the likelihood of being spotted by the dancers and musicians was low. They had some time to play before anyone figured they were gone.

“EEE! Coming!” Nasuri screeched softly before running after her brothers through the doors into the warm sunlight. The light blinded her momentarily but she kept running, soaking up the sun as she went. She made it past the small patio and onto the grassy area where she threw herself gently into the grass and rolled in it while giggling. Finally! Freedom! Finally she sat back up, looking at her brothers with a large smile on her face. Yes this was so much better than just sitting around in the stuffy office and no one was going to bother them here.

“When do you think momma and dad will be back?” Mostly she was looking forward to seeing her father again. She wanted to see and know if he had brought back any new familiars, they had a lot at home but she always wanted to see the new stuff!

Both of his siblings raced through the door Orin was holding open before he himself swung through and closed the door behind him with a light thud.

"Yessss guys!" he called out. "This is so much better than mama's office." Orin held his hand over his eyes, scoping out the garden while his vision adjusted. He forgot sometimes how different the lighting was outside compared to the dusky house. Orin heard Nasuri's question and patted his chin. "Well... not for a while?" He hoped at least

Aeuri didn't dive into the grass like his sister, but instead peered around just to be certain that Itotia was not lurking about. He didn't realize she most likely would have heard them already, considering they were laughing and screeching outside in the sun. After a long second, he realized it was clear and turned to his siblings to give them an 'ok' sign.

"No one is here! We've got the place to ourselves!"

As he moved back toward his sister, he sat down in the grass and looked toward them both, "Mama is always busy when she gives us a babysitter...and papa never comes home early..."

It was a little whiny, but more because he wished they had more time to spend with their parents.

As he leaned back, his eyes noticed a movement on the edge of his vision. Darting up, he looked over his shoulder, and after a moment whispered to his siblings, "Did you see that?"

Nasuri hoped it would be a long while. Her eyes moved around the garden, head tilted as she pet the grass as if it was a pet but then her eyes spotted something. Eyes staring back at her i the bushes, but only the eyes.

“Guys!” She screamed, pointing at the bush. “There’s something in there!” The little Hybrid got up, running over to the closes brother. “Look there it’s going to eat us!” The bush ruffled a bit, the eyes blinked but it did not stop staring at the trio in the garden. "Aeuri is right there's something here!!!"
