- He’s very charismatic, serving as the mediator to many of the competing criminal powers in the Parallel. There’s very little that he doesn’t know, and he prides himself with being the go-to man.
As an android, he’s much more durable than the average person. His interior is made of Janium, which is an alloy composed of Acronium and Titanium. His sensors and HUD allow him to see things perfectly clear, with the ability to thoroughly analyze what he sees. As with all androids, he doesn’t need to eat, sleep, or produce waste, but he eats and sleeps sometimes, simply because he can.
➳ How do they act?
- As greedy as he may be—a healthy greed of gaining with little cost to himself—he knows to keep his mouth shut to avoid trouble and open it for profit, typical street smarts. He’s known to be very reasonable and fair when it comes to his exchanges, a reliable fellow who sees his deals through with appropriate discretion. He’s also known to employ plenty of harmless sarcasm when he communicates with others, and often jokes about his status as an android, showing he has no problem accepting who he is.
➳ What's their backstory?
- He was “born” at a Genesis Android Production Center in Stratos, his maker being Dr. Jessica Chandler. His existence as an android inspired the name “Andy”, while his product code MA-715, vaguely looked like the name “Mavis”. “MA” is intended to acknowledge his purpose for mimicry, hence “MA” for “Mimicry Android”. He was one of twenty prototypes for accurately mimicking humans, and his original form was more human-like. After successfully passing the Turing test, he was released into the public as “Andy Mavis”, posing as a common pawn owner of “Andy’s Odds & Ends”. His masquerade worked for five years, but it ended when he rescued the daughter of one of his customers from a small explosion, the damage removing some of his false skin layer. Word spread, but they treated him all the same, and he chose not to fully conceal his interior, priding himself with what he really was, an android. Dr. Chandler, pleased with the results, freed him of his obligations and allowed him to lead his own life, though the two remain close.
His charisma got him much farther than anyone ever anticipated, because he got involved with the Syndicate, a decision that would bring up only up in the world. After every successful arrangement, he became more and more famous. A fixer and a fence is what they called him, and he’s considered one of, if not the best trader in the criminal underworld.
