Gaming grandma is totally awesome. It would be so funny to watch some punk gamer who thinks they are 'all that' and watch them get their arse kicked by an old lady

The people who say "she shouldn't be gaming, she's too old" are probably the same people saying we shouldn't be gaming because we're female. There's this stereotype that only gawky adolescent boys play video games, and if it's stupid one way, it's stupid all ways.

My mom plays video games. I don't see anything wrong with that. We like to have discussions over dinner and share secrets or new disscoveries.
She only plays strategy type games or RPGs like Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing.

i've heard about her and saw the interview they did on her (i think it was MTV) personally i think that's awesome. i can't picture my granny playing games now but hopefully when i'm that age i can still give my grandkids a run for their money! mrgreen

I never got to know my grandma much, since she died when I was 3. But they say she used to play Pacman on the Atari with my big brothers so much, she'd get carpal tunnal.

Cool....I would do the same thing when I get a retirement. Anyway, my grandma plays video games...usually pong, pac-man, other classics, some fighting games.

My Grandma's in her 70's and she plays video games. Always has, always will. She's the best. XD Her fav is pikmin. ((Those little things annoy me. I don't know why. I like the big fat ladybug things that eat them though! XD))
