The thing about being a cop (detective, whatever) was that you weren't particularly hard to track down if the town only had one or two big police departments. It wasn't tricky for Chel to get Chris to look it up for her and it made her even more pleased that she could now have her phone read the instructions out to her.
One bus ride and a few blocks of walking later and Chel was stooped in the front lobby of a police department looking very much like she belonged there for other reasons.
But she had a stack of papers in her hand and she approached the front counter and rather seriously requested the presence of one Shun.
"Shun ... s**t I don't know his last name man. Asian ********, hair in a bun."
Very professional.

Just as the person at the front counter was about to ask what Chel's reason was for seeing him, Shun happened to wander by. And he overheard. The man closed his eyes and placed a hand to his face. He didn't like the looks of that stack of papers she had in hand. He really didn't like the looks of that.
"What do you want now?" he asked her with a sigh.

Chel was mid-sentence drescribing Shun's general grumpy demeanor when she was interrupted by the man himself.
"Ah!" She would have moved towards him but at least luckily for Shun there was a counter between them. "I found out some stuff for you. I wrote it down!"
What had been a very proud accomplishment for her suddenly turned sour as dull realization colored her face. She'd written it down ... for a person that also couldn't read well.
"Okay I ******** up- but hear me out-"

Shun did not look impressed. Not that he's ever really appeared all that impressed around Chel in the first place.
"This better be good."
He was still trying to wrap his mind around why she was here seeking him out specifically, when he hadn't asked her to 'find anything'. But for now, he was being patient. Let's see how long this lasts.

She leaned back on her heels, staring at the nice secretary who was now watching the whole debacle with mild amusement while trying to appear like he wasn't looking.
"Uh. Right here?"

With a grunt, he motioned her over, "Follow me."
Shun turned and made his way over to wherever his desk was, not really ever bothering to glance back to make sure Chel was keeping up. Once he got there, he turned and leaned against the edge of the desk and folded his arms.
"Well?"

Chel did take the time to comment a, "Thanks man!" to the guy at the desk, who just gave her a sort of half-hearted nod.
Following behind Shun she was barely given a glance save for those who were maybe caught off guard by the bright hair. It seemed that (shockingly) Chel's type wasn't uncommon in this precinct.
She set the folder down on the chair upon entering the area since it was all but useless now. "First, that whole thing," she began, gesturing to his pose, "Good look on you. Second, I was talkin' t'people about stuff that's been happenin' in town."

"I hope that stack of papers is not just a bunch of gossip of who is sleeping with who, because I really do not need that sort of s**t," he stated flatly.
Shun didn't really have high expectations that Chel had anything of real use.

Chel responded with a shallow kind of laugh that devolved into a cough. "Y'know my cousin says the same s**t," she told him. Ironic when Chris had even though the same when discussing Shun.
"Naw I was talkin' with this chick in the part 'bout the disappearances and s**t. I guess there's a shitton of people comin' into town 'count ah all the s**t goin' down."

Shun tilted his head at this.
"And you think you have some useful information regarding those things?"

And now it felt like school and Chel's face drained of any previous color it might have held.
"Uhh. Okay well one guy was sayin' he saw some werewolves or somethin'. Maybe that means the kidnappers hairy or somethin'? I dunno. Anyways he said they were over in the forest south of here." Valuable information.

If Shun hadn't looked impressed before, he really didn't look it now. Maybe the southern forest bit was useful but so far this was sounding like a load of crap.
"Werewolves? Seriously?"

Chel rolled her eyes. "Well obviously that s**t wasn't actually werewolves." Obviously. "But maybe that guy really did see somethin'. Those missin' guys went into the forest and got lost." She emphasized the last word with quotes because who knows what really happened to them? Maybe they really were eaten by werewolves.
