Strengths: For having a tall stature as himself, he is surprisingly well balance, and can easily maneuver his way around a battle field, and work with his weapon. You'd be surprised what he is capable of when he uses his whip. What he lacks in speed, he makes up in countering with his average reflexes. Though it may not be much, but improvising with what is given to him is his strongest attribute.
Weaknesses: The Cold: Since Lance was born without heat glands for his body to naturally produce body heat, he is constantly in a lethargic state, and always freezing. Much like your average snake, if his body temperature drops to a certain point, he could die. It's one of the many reasons, he is always wearing a heavy sweater, and without his portable heating pad, he would be at even another risk of having his temperature dropped.

-Electronic Glasses: Though they are prescribed to help with his nearsightedness, Lance modified them to have additional use, such as hacking into computers, and reading closed cases, or locked files.
- Portable Heating Pad: Since Lance was born without heat glands, he is always cold, and never warm. This small item he has- can be placed in a microwave to heat up. This lasts for half the day, and helps him get by in the long run.

Your Weapon: The snake sword, in this case- Temptation, is one of the most interesting and dynamic weapons: It is both a whip, and sword in one controlled by the energy of the user. A blade that doesn't focus on strength but flexibility of the user's mind. It carries only two augments of Fire Dust, and Lightening Dust. When his Snake Sword is solid as a sword, It has the only option of using the Fire rounds, but when switched to the whip, it uses the Lightening rounds.
Your Semblance: Shadow: "Shadow", allows the user to create clones of themselves. These clones are solid, but can be dispelled easily if hit or if they move too far away from them. They can be used to distract foes or take hits for the user, and they can use a clone as a platform to leap off of in mid-air.

Background Information
Lance was born a preme meaning, he came out a month earlier than his due date. Because of this, he suffered from poor development, which included his near eyesight, and no heat glands. Now, for those wondering what heat glads are used for; They are the glands that make up our natural body heat. The glands react when we are cold, or over work themselves if we are over heated. Because he was born without his heat glands to produce natural body heat, the doctors feared that he may not make it. Kept under tight surveillance, they watched him progress successfully through the night. Sadly, because of his condition, his mother placed him up for adoption, and was sent to an orphanage. There, the nurses tended to his every cry, and need as a little babe. Even though the struggle was there, he survived, to stubborn to be otherwise.
As a child growing up in Mistral, he was capable of making a few friends, and pass his grades with flying colors. Yet, he was able to baffle the teachers. Though he slept through most of his grade school classes, he still did his homework, and aced each test. He may not act or appear like it, but he's rather intelligent for his own good. The kids at the orphanage would leave him alone, they were the only ones outside of grade school that knew of his condition, and treated him as if he were a zombie. Sure he was always lethargic, but it was because he was always cold, and the cold makes him sleepy.
As Lance grew older, he started to hang around busty women more. He used them to satisfy his own needs, mainly to use them to keep him warm, and to satisfy his sexual desires. After all, he is a young man. The nuns were unhappy with his poor choices in life, and knew him to be better than that. They introduced Lance to the Beacon Academy, which offered him a better chance, and life there. They convinced him to go enter in the entrance exams, and from there on, maybe he'll start investigating who his real family are.....and find out why they gave him up.
