F.A.Q
Q) Can we start off with an item/power claimed from Pandora's Box?
A) Yes. At the start of character conception you can have an already claimed item/power from Pandora's Box. Just be sure to apply for that item/power before hand and mention your encounter in your Biography. However you can only start off with ONE [ 1 ] item or power.
Q) Can we encounter Pandora's Box at anytime?
A) Yes. You can encounter Pandora's Box anytime anywhere. Just drop a request for an encounter in the appropriate thread and you will shortly encounter Pandora's Box IC. You can encounter these chests as many times as you want.
Q) Can we claim more then one item or power from Pandora's Box?
A) Yes. You can claim a number of items or powers. I'm not going to stop you, just be sure to keep in mind that an item or power claimed will be done so at the cost of your character sanity. You lose to much sanity your character becomes a Shaitan. There is no way around this.
Q) If we kill another character with a claimed item or power from Pandora's Box can we take it?
A) Yes and no. If you kill an NPC or another RPC who had an item claimed from Pandora's Box you can steal it. That item will become yours and you will not lose any sanity for it. However you cannot steal powers from another individual. If the NPC or RPC had a claimed power then that power will vanish with the deceased.
Q) Can the transformation into a Shaitan be reversed?
A) No. Once you become a Shaitan you stay a Shaitan. There is no cure. Not even Pandora's Box can reverse the transformation. In this instance you are screwed.
Q) Can a Stat Booster go beyond +2 Ranks on a Weapon and ect?
A) Yes. If you have a fully upgraded weapon there is a chance to go beyond the +2 Limit. This is done through Pandora's Box however. For the price of 1 Level of sanity you can gain double the amount. So +2 turns to +4, +4 turns to +6, and so on. The larger the number the more sanity you lose however.
Q) Is it at all possible to have a Stat Boost and an Ability Boost?
A) Yes it is entirely possible. But again this goes back to Pandora's Box. You can upgrade your weapon to it's max and gain a ability boost via Pandora's Box on the same weapon. If you so wanted you could gain another ability boost or increase the stat boosts again in the future. Just remember it's all at the cost of your sanity.
Q) Do we have to be Mercenaries or Royal Guards?
A) No. No you do not. If you wanna have a different kind of role like that of a shop keeper or just an ordinary citizen that's completely fine. Do so. You will not be excluded from arcs or story plots, and you can go out and claim items or powers from Pandora's Box if you so desire. It's your story to build.

How is a characters standing determined in the various divisions of the Valkir Guard? Do we have to apply for the higher ranks or do we earn our way into the spots during role play?
Also putting in an application for a mundane weapon wont increase a characters sanity level correct? As long as it doesn't come from a box I'd assume?

As of now the only high ranks within the Valkir Guard are Captain and Lieutenant. In order to gain these ranks it's basically first come first serve. So if you want a high rank you simply need to ask. Currently I do not have a ranking system and most likely wont be adding one.
You only lose sanity from items/powers claimed from Pandora's Box, nothing else.

Two part question.
Can you acquire a vehicle without the use of a Pandora's Box, and is there enough fuel, that's easily accessible, for it?

You can acquire a vehicle and yes there is fuel. However there will be limitations, like it's cost. Keep in mind however that basically 90% of the RP is in a desert setting without paved roads.
