Even when he was young Kirkland always... saw things that others didn't, or to be more accurate, he saw other people in ways others could not. For reasons he cannot fathom, there are certain people that seem to... waver, shift, and change into beings otherworldly in appearance. He's seen men, women, and children shape into terrifying creatures straight from the pages of horror stories, yet others sprout wings and are surrounded by a "holy" light. No one else seems to notice but him, perhaps he is the only one who can see them, whatever the reason the man is smart enough to keep his trap sealed tight about it.
