It wasn't hard to rent a remote cabin. With spring in full swing, most camping areas were already open and Torin had done his research to find a place that would be away from other cabins, provide enough room for all of them, and not kill him with the final tab. It took some phone calls and text messages, but he managed to cement a week everyone could dedicate to the trip and set to work booking it.
Before anyone arrived, he inspected the place, swept, cleaned up, opened the windows, and made sure they had the necessities. With some help from Wyatt, they did a small shopping trip and picked up enough to feed their small army for a week. With everything set, he waited in the cabin with Wyatt, sitting on the floor with his husky puppy. This would be the first time their team would be together, outside of Destiny City, and not just powered up. His stomach twisted in knots with nerves, but at least away from the city meant a week where he could recover.

Wyatt would have been happy to rough it in the woods, and the insistence on a cabin had made him a bit rumbly, mostly because it meant money, but he set his mind on all the ways he could get sweet payback. Torin had better watch out. Of course his preferred methods of payback were limited, as Torin had gotten himself roughed up. Again. Sigh~
It didn't help that he perhaps wasn't a big team player. It made Wyatt....prickly, the thought of having to get buddy-buddy with others. Lessers, the old part of his mind that still held to life-long arrogance chirped.
This was why they needed team bonding exercises. But as far as Wyatt was concerned, this was mainly for the newbies to learn, more than anything. And he wasn't an easy teacher.

When the idea of going camping had come up, Terry had been all for it. To be honest though he had never gone camping before so when he was told it would be in a cabin he was thankful. Still he made sure to ask Torin what all they needed to bring and if they should bring anything extra just in case, they being Seung and him. After learning just how 'good' of a driver Seung was, Terry had pretty much decided he would make sure the other man didn't drive until he learned how to do it safely so of course he was the one driving them and Seung was in charge of picking the music while holding Yeong.
It wasn't a long drive to the cabin and the time had been spent talking about this and that or just listening to the music. When they got there Terry parked the car and turned to Seung to give a smile. "How about I start taking the stuff in and you see if Yeong needs to use a tree?" he asked and gestured to the harnessed puppy.

Lying wasn't a hard thing for him to do, thankfully, so telling his bosses and his teachers he had a family thing and had to go home for it, a family emergency, and once excused he'd told another lie to his parents. His school, teachers, wouldn't call his parents and he knew his bosses wouldn't either as they didn't know who his family was and his last name was far from uncommon. To his family he'd told them he'd be spending the week at a friends working on studying and projects.
He would be with friends, at least he thought of them as friends, and they were working on some things...just not what he claimed - oh well. He'd packed his things and had talked to Terry, the other insisting that he drive them both up to the cabin. After the others upset over his driving he understood and wasn't surprised, he expected it even, Yeong was coming also, he wasn't going to burden his parents with taking care of the puppy. So he'd had to pack bowls and a toy or two, some treats, and after harassing him he'd managed to get everything out of the apartment and down to Terry who had been waiting outside his apartment building.
The drive up to the cabin hadn't been long, it had been pleasant, as he sat in the passenger seat with Yeong curled in his lap after greeting Terry. The music, left to him, had meant him hooking his ipod up to the radio in Terry's car to play what he had stored on the device. He knew the other had called to see if they should bring anything, other than the basic common sense things.
When they'd arrived he got out and nodded to Terry, Yeong on the ground already shaking himself out and yawning. "Will do. Will help you then." He wasn't going to leave the other to unpack their things all by himself. Moving toward a group of bushes, and more importantly trees, he walked the pup back and forth till he did in fact relieve himself. Calling out over his should er to Terry. "Let them know about Yeong." He said, not wanting to spring the surprise on them. If need be he could drop him at Terry's home, it wouldn't take too long, and than he could return on his own."Will see if he needs to do more." He said before turning his dark gaze back to the puppy who was sniffing at the bushes.

He nodded when the other man said he would help once the pup had been walked, figuring that would happen anyway. As Seung exited the car with Yeong, Terry was soon exiting himself though he went to the back and started to pull out the bags of things they would need. In the end they had probably over packed a bit but better safe then sorry right? And if there was a limited amount of room what ever they didn't need could just stay in the car. He doubted that they had to worry about any brake-ins after all. He hooked a few over his shoulders and was making his way over to the door of the cabin when Seung called out to him again. "I will!" He called back with a quick smile then finished the short walk to the door and knocked. He had been meaning to let Torin know that they would bring the pup when they had talked before but it had slipped his mind at the time.

Markus had a heck of a time explaining to Jae why he would be gone for a week but his roommate had finally given up asking. It was hard living with a family friend sometime, and his unrequited love, but he was confident Jae wouldn't snitch him out as long as the other got to drive and pick him up. The red head was behind the wheel and Markus was rummaging in backpack as they pulled up. A glance over the two outside of a car with a puppy and the teen grinned, who could it be!? This was so exciting, they were all going to be meeting without being powered! The car pulled to a stop and he got out, putting a backpack on then grabbing a larger bag from the back. A few words to Jae and he waved the older looking red head off. Then turned and called up happily to those still outside, "hey!" He'd wait for a larger crowd to announce he had totally brought all the fixings for smores in bulk.

Watching a truck pull up and someone climb out of the passenger side, they seemed young, Seung let his eyes move from passenger to driver while wondering if both were coming and who they were. This was the first time meeting most of these people outside of uniform. His attention went to the pup, for a moment, taking note that the little puppy was doing his business in a bush. "Good boy." Praising him, in his native tongue as he was training him in both languages, he wasn't surprised when the pup came prancing toward him wit his tail bobbing behind him.
Leaning down to pet the puppy he lifted him off the ground, intent on carrying him, and turned his gaze onto the newly arrived male. "Afternoon." He greeted with a very slight nod, or bowing, of his head. "Should get inside. Few others inside." He said, having watched Terry head inside with some of their things.

The door opened to the cabin and a short man with black hair and smooth features stood at the door. He was wearing a soft black and blue hoodie with a small terrier emblem on the upper right,jeans, and sneakers.His eyes were green, two pair, and there was a trail of faint scarring that ran up one side of his face to his ear. A husky puppy with bright blue eyes rushed over to meet Terry, smelling his shoes and circling him as it smelled the puppy on his person.
"Hello. Glad you guys could make it. Wyatt, they're here." He called back, opening the door and moving a rock to keep it open for everyone. He slowly walked to the porch, being mindful to keep this trip as one he could heal and not one he would hurt himself more. There was already three people here and a puppy, which Duke hadn't yet noticed.
Turning to Terry, he tried to smile as warmly as he could. "I'm Torin, the one that called everyone here. I also go by Gevaudan." Since no one who wasn't supposed to be here got the message, he didn't find any need for secrecy. He also met Seung who was out with the puppy. To be honest, if someone came that wasn't one he invited, he was prepared to kill them to keep their secret safe.
"Just pick a room for your things. Everyone gets a roommate."
