{ Nail Art } . . .
xxxxxxxElena has long fingers, and prides herself on her very long nails. Not obscene of course--unless she's using acrylics she made...--but long enough for her to make some fantastic designs. Acrylics, resins, beads, flowers, nail polishes, rhinestones.... the fancier the designs and shapes she can decorate peoples' nails with, the better. She does all she can to keep her nails in immaculate condition, and does keep an emergency nail care kit in her purse or bag at all times. Form over function, Elena just adores having a fun way to express herself, and loves working on nails for other people to give them the same access to a fun little outlet.
{ Kitchen Creations } . . .
xxxxxxxBaking, cooking.... you name it! If it requires Elena to be in the kitchen making something yummy she can share with others, she adores it. Though her decorating skills still must be worked on, is incredibly proud of the sort of creative dishes she can come up with. She adores experimentation with food, along with a clear love of making warm-your-soul comfort food. The biggest draw to cooking for Elena is the ability to share it with others, and will often volunteer at different organizations around the city to help cook for events anywhere from higher end, to charity work. Food can help bring people together, is her near religious belief, and she does all she can to put this into constant practice.
{ Aliens, Monsters, Beasts, oh my! } . . .
xxxxxxxElena is very squeamish... but at the same time she's long had a huge love for the creepy crawlies of the world and horror creations. The Alien franchise is one of her favorites, along with series like Hemlock Grove, and really anything with creepy, slithery or furry characters. Though she has to keep covering her eyes for the gore scenes, she finds these monsters from the human imagination to be fascinating, and as fun as they are horrifying.
{ Sculpting } . . .
xxxxxxxBe it with clay, or plaster, or sand... Elena loves to make things with her hands, creating functional or fantastical forms out of an otherwise shapeless material. She has been able to get some of her works into some of the galleries in the city, including a few for... particular tastes, with some of her more creepy crawly slithering looking creations. From the beautiful to the macabre, Elena just... finds it so rewarding to see how a shapeless, formless mass can be crafted into a breathtaking work of art.

{ Maternal } . . .
xxxxxxxElena is the type to, without a momentary hesitation, be there for the people around her as a support system, a source of comfort if she can, and if all else fails? Someone totally happy to take people out shopping, or cook feel-good meals and pop in a movie for them to mindlessly watch and chatter about. Very much the person who dotes on others when given the chance--though she does try to not be overbearing on it all, she swears--she's the mother hen who keeps emergency... whatever kits in her giant purses and bags, and if someone around her so much as coughs, sneezes, shivers, sighs... She's there offering whatever she can to make sure they're alright. While the majority of this is directed to people she is familiar with, even strangers or acquaintances are likely to find themselves being, politely, asked if they are feeling well, or offered tissues, cough drops... or even if they wouldn't mind company if she believed they were upset about something. While she realizes not everyone wants to talk about issues with a stranger, she does like to at least make it clear that she is willing to listen if they want to vent.
{ Attentive } . . .
xxxxxxxWhen it comes to the body language of people around her, Elena likes to believe not much can escape her eye. From the good, to the bad, to the uncomfortable, to the needy, she tries to learn peoples' body language and ticks as quickly as she can to attempt to best figure out what she can do to help them out. Of course, it's hardly a fail-proof system she's got, and unless she's spent a lot of time around the person to really get to know them, really she's just guessing based off her experiences with people, and her grasp of micro expressions is pretty minor when it comes to trying to figuring out new people. Even so, Elena tries to make it a point to keep a watchful--though respectful--eye on the people around her in case she believes they might be in need of some sort of assistance. Or just might be fun people to hang out with! She's got no qualms giving money to others if they need it, or just buying people snacks or drinks, helping them with grocery runs... you name it, if she realizes there's any way she might be of assistance, she'll put the info out there immediately. Or y'know. Just act on it. With the best intentions!
{ Optimistic } . . .
xxxxxxxIt takes a lot to wipe the smile off Elena's face. The girl lives, breaths, and at times might as well be silver lining personified. Bad stuff happens. It's horrible, it's tragic, it shouldn't happen... but it does. You know what else happens? Good stuff. Rainbows after the storms. Bad stuff happens and can stay around for a long time sometimes... but the good will come after it, from it, and you'll be all the stronger for making it through. Elena lives by this motto as a survivor herself of some incredibly dark times in her life. After having a strong support system around her, she was able to rediscover her own silver linings, and now strives to promote this for others. It's her belief that if she can help others find their own silver lining, and act as a source of support, then surely they'll be able to come out of their own troubles, too. While not always a rational belief for all situations, everything's got a silver lining for Elena, she just might... have to press a bit to find it.

Flaws
{ Gullible } . . .
xxxxxxxNo, she won't believe you've got a winning lotto ticket that she can totally have for just fifty bucks. But if you tell her a sob story, or utilize body language associated with a poor, unfortunate soul in need of attention or monetary comforts... Elena's not going to really question this. Her preference to give people the benefit of the doubt does open her up to potentially getting taken for a ride by people whom might not have the best intentions for her more generous nature, but even after experiencing some of these less than ideal situations or relationships, Elena still continues to hold onto the idea that she should always give the benefit of the doubt. In her mind, it's better to get lead on by a lie, than to turn down someone who might be legitimately in trouble.
{ Worry Wort } . . .
xxxxxxxFor all her confidence and willingness to give to others, Elena's constantly second-guessing herself, and second-guessing the safety or possible needs of the people around her. Did she say that right? Did she goof by being too forward or presumptuous? She didn't offend them, right? Oh god but what if she did... Of course, this also continues on to her interest in keeping people around her safe and happy. Did they look before they leaped? Did they bring an umbrella, the weather app said there was 20% chance of rain... If there's a chance that a situation might go sour, even if Elena is sure things will work out, her mind's whirling away trying to think of the best solutions to deal with the situation, or things she could do to help people out to get out as unharmed or as un-upset as possible.
{ Overzealous } . . .
xxxxxxxIf Elena could smooth all the people she loved and cared for into a protective bubble, and then perch on top of that bubble like a mother hen, she would. She hovers, she nit-picks (with love!) and while she is insistent she's just trying to help and is nervous she's coming on too strong... the reality is, the girl's got as big of a presence as she does a figure. She's loud, she's proud, and she's got a huge heart she intends to share. This overbearing nature can tend to be overwhelming for some people, especially with how quickly she'll insert herself into someone's space if she believes it's necessary to keep them safe or assist them with a problem. While her intentions might be good, it can lead to her crossing boundaries that are better left alone, or getting perhaps a bit too focused on a situation without considering all possible aspects before she acts.

Physical Description
Eyes : Celestial Blue [#4997D0] Large and heavily lashed, she has a very doll-like appearance to her eyes.
Hair : Rosy Brown [#BC8F8F] with streaks and highlights ofBright Ube [#D19FE8], Elena's hair falls to her rear in curls and waves, and she loves doing decorative hairstyles with lots of little accessories in her hair. The more braids she can put into her hair, and wave in ribbons and flowers and pearls (oh my!) then the generally more excited she is.
Face : Her skin is a golden tan, with a heart shaped face and a constant smile on her lips. She's always putting on makeup to accentuate her features, and is more prone to brighter, outlandish lip colors and more neutral eye shadows and blushes. But she definitely loves making her eyes pop.
Clothes: Elena sicks to loose dresses and skirts a lot, really not opting for pants unless they're leggings to wear under her longer layers, or maybe some of those super cute high-waisted jeans... But she loves lacy, flowy fabrics, and the more rosy colors she can own and wear in her wardrobe, the better.
↠xxxElena is a tall girl, she's carrying a lot of curves with her. Very large breasts (EE), very wide hips, and a bit of a tummy, she's damn proud of her figure and has no shame showing it off. She has three piercings along the bottoms of both her ears, along with a tongue piercing, navel piercing, and a few others.
