Kabutomushi was spending the day much like she spends most days, training alone. On this occasion, she had her shikai released, and was repeatedly drawing in the air around her gauntlets to the greatest possible density she could stand, then releasing the compressed air as a shockwave blast. Over and over again, she will be doing this, until she runs out of energy or somebody interrupts her.

Patterned tiles in shimmering grace…
Cast carousel smiles painted in place…
Quietly forging the head meets the hand…

Minari Tsuru

This was not what she was going for when she decided to explore after school this afternoon. She didn't have any afternoon activities so she was free for a few hours. Minari had taken to using her tattoos to explore when she had a few hours to work with. Of course, when she hopped between worlds behind the shrine where she lived with her grandparents a closet full of strange equipment and cobwebs was not where she expected to end up.

"Ahhhh! Get it off, get it off, get it off...ew yuck yuck yuck!" She fell out of a supply closet on the squad six grounds that was rarely ever used and was still doing her best to wipe webs from her hands and check herself for any creepy crawly's that might have accompanied her on her swift exit from the dark "Oh god, I don't have anything on me do I? Spiders and webs are the worst."

She was looking herself over in dismay, only barely glancing at the other two women in the strange open sandy area where she'd ended up. The building's architecture gave her the image that it was probably the Sereitei...she'd popped accidentally in about a month ago and left post haste when a mountain started to crumble. It didn't look like it was quite as horrible today...but then she hadn't meant to bump right into people either. Whoops. She offered a slightly awkward smile and rubbed her hair back with a free hand. "Uh, hi?"

"Hmph!" she hmph'd as Shingotsu pointed out Kabuto's greatest weakness in combat. "My mother had a different opinion." Kabu said in a tone that said she didn't like relying on her mother's old lessons. "She said Power, Precision, Efficiency; pick two. Skill is just what you call your ability to balance them. Frankly, I think it doesn't matter if I miss most of the time if I win as soon as I hit." Kabuto grinned and fired off a shockwave into the air with a punch. "A single punch to shake the world! So strong, even the gods run away!" Kabuto paused for a moment once she realized how corny that all sounded. Blushing, she said, "I mean, it'd just be arrancar or whatever, but I could totally take them all out in one hit, is the idea." Kabu composed herself and gave a bit of a glare, "Besides, not like the old man be as strong as he is if he couldn't take out a bad guy in one shot. I've seen some real fights, they mostly end as soon as someone takes one good hit."

Kabuto swatted at the hair-ruffling spirit and put on a sly look. "You sound like you have something else in mind." she said, putting one hand on her shoulder and popping her neck.

Kabuto dispersed the Sussu Wakki with a Shock Tremor and grinned, "You're on!" she said, "I've been meaning to try this out." she curled her finger and thumb together and pointed the hand at Shin like she was going to flick her. This would normally do nothing except displace air... except that Kabuto's hands are covered in highly pressurized air currents strong enough to crush stones. "BANG!" she yelled, then waited a moment to aim where(if) Shin dodges to before flicking what can only be described as a bolt of air at Shin. Unfortunately for Kabu, the "attack" lost most of its force en route and would only hurt as much as a bee sting.

Kabuto sat under a tree, positioned to shade her from the morning sun. She sits cross-legged, holding her gauntleted hands up in front of her chest as she focusses to maintain a dense orb of compacted air stable in front of her. This concentration is made somewhat difficult from the bruises picked up yesterday when Shingotsu predictably flew circles around her and battered down the young shinigami's ego.
