My question: What is being done about tier exclusive rewards constantly being rereleased in item generators?
Everytime it is brought up, we are told that items just slip through the cracks. That would make sense if it happened once every couple generators, but it seems to happen almost every time a new one comes out.
I know there are a lot of tier exclusive items, but if you didn't have a system in place to ASSURE those items never get rereleased, why even bother saying they will be exclusive, or at the very least, why release tiers at such an alarming rate.
I feel like someone should go back and add a tag to all tier exclusive items labeling them as such, so it is easier to identify them when the item lists for chance items are being made up. This might be a pretty big undertaking because there are literally hundreds, if not thousands of tier exclusive items, but it would avoid any mistakes like this in the future.

I can confirm that it definitely is an issue of things slipping through the cracks. We're working on ironing out a more reliable method for weeding out these items before release, but until that system is finalized, we may have a few slip ups here and there. When the tier system and its exclusive item policy was envisioned, we had no idea Gaians would love it so much! Now that tiers are significantly more commonplace and there are more items floating around with that policy, we're taking measures to create a new way of keeping tabs on them. Until then, it definitely helps when Gaians quote or PM us if they spot a tier item in the wild so we can fix the problem as quickly as possible! biggrin

Seriously, they really need to stop being lazy and start bothering with the problems gaia online has.
Harsh broski, especially for someone who doesn't actually know what we do.
I was vaguely aware of the actual bug itself, but I'm also not the person who primarily deals with keeping track of bug reporting. I was testing some things and wanted to ensure that the problems I was having were either existing problems (as I was having a hard time recalling if they were) or new problems that had occurred. It's not unreasonable to expect that people can remember every single bug with every single feature. So instead of being a troll and deciding that you want to look "cool" and "edgy" by making inappropriate and offensive comments, you could be someone who can help by either giving me more information about any other existing problems with the game, or just not say anything and not drag down the community that is trying to hard to push for the game to be fixed.
In short, don't be that guy.

I will! The survey closes later this week so you won't see them before then. I probably won't put out ALL the questions since some of them are just for us to collect data about what parts of the site people are currently using.
However, I plan on writing up a post with the results of some of the questions about what people most want to see worked on. Some of the things we are already working on and I'll try to address that. Some of them are things we may be able to address in the immediate future so I'll address that. Some of them are things that may take a very long time to address so I'll try to address that and give some reasons as to why they may be harder to fix or update.

When I hear people spending money buying 100+ RIGs to try and win one and end up failing, it's a little ridiculous.

I was wondering, if a user makes a custom exclusive item, but they get banned, so they are locked away on the account now, would Gaia consider releasing those exclusive items VIA Flynns Plunder? Or even have someone be able to claim one, only on users who were banned, through a Perfect Parcel? Would you guys even consider this?

It's something that is going to be very situational and case by case, so it's something that we unfortunately can't give a clear-cut answer to.

This year is the 14th version of the event and it would be amazing if you'd bring attention to it somehow.
Here's some info:
The Gaian sponsored nudity event is an annual charity event. For the event users will go "nude" stripping down to the very basic underwear Gaia provides or cheap gold shop undies. The goal is to be as financially bare as possible for two whole weeks! During that time users gather sponsors who offer gold or items for completion of the event. At the end of the event all of the gold and items raised by the nudists is given to charities and quest threads here on Gaia!
It's an awesome event with a great community and generous spirit! You guys should totally check it out and maybe even feature it somewhere as you have with other user-run events in the past.

Are you guys aware of the price bug on the 10 pack of Ye Old Trove of Forgotten Things? The shop lists it as 2b but when you go to buy it, it charges you 2.25b. Can one of them be fixed to reflect the true price preferably making the end price 2b like it's listed in the shop

I have a question on this because it happens to have been on my mind for a while.
So, lets say you're saving up for a ticket. And you discuss with someone a recolor idea, you already made your own art of it and have the proof on your DA and whatever. Mocks, recolors etc.
Now lets say you discussed this recolor with someone, and they ran with your idea and the item comes out a few months later.
So you have all the proof you need to prove the recolor is your idea, you have all your mocks/recolor design and everything.
Now what would happen if the person recolors your design without giving you credit/profit from it?

Unfortunately, there is no way to validate these kind of claims. We got through so many tickets a day, we cannot go through and verify any type of proof that is presented. Unfortunately whoever submits the idea for the recolor first will be the one who gets that recolor.
I can completely understand that, however would the same apply to a golden ticket item?
Say for example, two people created mocks of a sword, made into wings, and then someone else requested that to be made into an item, would there be anyway to be like "Bro, you totes stole that design, we aint gonna make it"
Or, do we just settle of subtle mocking like "Oh way harsh tai, you totes stole that"
Unfortunately, that's the risk of posting your ideas on the forums or sharing your ideas! :C

Is there a reason Sleep and Paralyze effectively do the same thing? It’s a bit annoying and redundant for both status effects to deal the same result. Could you change them up maybe? Have one of them only last one round instead of two, or maybe still letting us use items or run away during one of them?

Can you please unsoulbind Charge Orbs? I keep getting them from Kin battles and levels, I don’t do Alchemy and selling them for 1 gold is effectively like getting no prize for winning a battle or level. I’d love the chance to trade or sell them to a fellow Gaian who’ll actually use them.

Unfortunately there is no way for us to unsoulbind Charge Orbs. However you can use them in alchemy to create orb aggregates and sell those.

We have somebody actively working on this. As soon as it's fixed we'll definitely update you. Unfortunately, I can't really give you a time estimate. It could be incredibly soon. Or the fix we're working on could fail and we'll have to go back to the drawing board.

I've asked this before, but I'll ask again. Is there a way you can add a trash option on locked aquarium, lake kindred starters and other kinds of locked items? I'm tired of that junk filling up my inventory. I didn't even set up a tank or anything, these locked items just appeared in my inventory one day years ago and I've had to have them sit there ever since because every time I put the locked aquarium items into storage they're moved back into my inventory again. I'm not trying to even sell them back for gold, I just want them removed and gone and unfortunately there's no removing the fish from the aquarium and they won't die no matter what I do and I can't disable the tank. I don't know who decided I had to have this stuff one day, but I don't want it and I shouldn't have to be forced to take care of a starter kin when I can catch better ones.
