There was never a day that Sin'qua wasn't holed up in her room at the inn, her quill scribbling away with words that filled pages of her erotic fantasies and novels. She had been more careful with locking her door when she left the room now, but it seemed that she was lasp when it came to locking it while she wrote.
Her face was flushed as she she dipped the quill tip into the ink, she had reached a rather passionate part of the story and it even made her flustered just re-reading the words she had jotted down. The mage would continously use ice to try and keep herself cool but she feared that she would get water on her pages and smudge the ink. So in her stuffy little room she continued to write.
One would think she would spend more time with her boyfriend, perhaps testing out these senarios she wrote about on him, she certainly seemed into it. Perhaps a little too much so. But to be honest Sin'qua wasn't very good with establishing a first move, often times getting too embarrassed... they hadn't even kissed yet! And yet she still wrote about...much more descriptive things..
Taking the quill she tickeled the bottom of her lip with the feather as she tried to think of the next step to her seductive story.

There were some things that Makani was good at but flowers was definitely not one of them. He couldn't see them so he couldn't exactly tell what a 'beautiful' flower was by sight and design alone. As such he'd had to find flowers through their scent, having spent a few hours of his afternoon picking flowers. They were nice if scent was to be believed but who knew what they looked like, they could very well be something monstrous or weirdly colored. He could only hope that it was the thought that counted as far as the bouquet of flowers went.
Heading inside, flanked by Rae and Coil, he headed across the inn and through the door that lead to the quarters belonging to the staff which were kept separate from the general public. From there he headed upstairs, leaving his pets to wait for him at the foot of said stairs. He wasn't sure if Sin'qua would want them in her room so it was best that he left them behind for now.
As he arrived at the door, knocking first before entering he let his magic swirl around him, getting a feel for the lay out of the room as well as checking if Sin'qua was even to be found within. Last he knew she was inside writing but that was before he'd gone out flower hunting, she could very well be gone by now. If that were the case he'd leave the flowers on her desk, just in case she was there he called out, "Good afternoon, Sin'qua. How's it going?"

So lost in thought the poor woman nearly jumped out of her skin when Makani's voice came out from behind her door. First instinct was to hide all the work she was currently working on. "AH...just a second!!" she called out in a panic and she was stuffing papers into the drawers of her desk rather unceremoniously. Slamming the drawer closed only to find papers were stacked haphazardly inside and it wasn't closing properly due to being overfull. She tried to hurriedly restack the papers, even going as far as trying to just slam the drawer closed when she stopped herself. Makani was blind....he couldn't 'accidentally' read anything she had put to paper. Feeling stupid she stared at her crumpled up pages feeling irritated and stupid. She couldn't be made at Makani...it wasn't his fault she was so jumpy about him reading her work. Even if...he couldn't technically read it at all. Moving away as she could no longer stand the sight of the messed up pages she went to throw her door open. Despite wanting to be charming her tone betrayed her irritation with herself. "What is it?" It sounded not only demanding but ungrateful that he even came to see her, she wished she could beat her head against a wall at her own idiocy. "Sorry Makani...uh did you want to come in?"

The sound of scrambling had Makani tilting his head, using his magic to follow what it was that she was doing, and found himself a bit amused. Was she hiding things from him? As if he might actually be able to see what it was that she was up to. It had him instantly curous of course and as she yanked her door open he gave her a smile, unable to help but be amused by her irritated tone of voice. Holding out the bundle of mismatched flowers to her, "I got you a bouquet of flowers, Sin'qua. I can attest to what they look like but they at least smell nice." He could only hope that they didn't look like a handful of weeds as that would be a bit on the embarrassing side. "Come in? Hm, if you're alright with it. A guy shouldn't come into a lady's room without permission after all." Giving a glance toward where he'd heard her scrambling around, while having no idea what was there he said, "If I am interrupting whatever it is you were doing I can always come back later? I'd had to accidently peek at what it is you're doing." As though he actually could. One of those jokes that tended to be only funny to Makani and to those who understood his really strange sense of humor.

Alright so perhaps she wasn't thinking straight, her face went even redder as he reminded her she was inviting him into her bed room. It seemed a bit explicit and perhaps forward. But at the same time it felt natural to bring him into an environment she felt most comfortable in. Flustered at the fact he brought her flowers as well perhaps she wasn't thinking straight. "You...brought me...flowers?" Why was she so surprised by this? Wasn't it normal for her boyfriend to bring her nice things? The flowers however were...interesting to say the least. Perhaps not the prettiest looking things in the world but the aroma they gave off was very striking. Allowing him to enter her room she felt stupid as she was having second thoughts, although her first panic was that he would see her erotic writing she was reminded that he couldn't see at all. Giving a wry smile at him she gave him a gently shove on the shoulder. "Har har...yes you can come in." She still hadn't taken the flowers yet, but was now searching for something to put the flowers in. What...did she have that would allow the flowers to live a little longer? Something she could fill up with water.... All she had scattered about her room were empty jars that use to contain ink. She would have to put only one or two flowers per jar... "Uh..." she went to grab the first jar and using her magic filled it with water before returning to Makani and plucking a flower from the bouquet. She smelled it before being a bit bold gave Makani a kiss on the cheek. "You must of spent a lot of time picking these out." She managed glad he couldn't see her flustered expression. Tucking the stem into the neck of the jar before she went to put the jar on her desk. Then it was time for another jar, "I should reward you for your hard work. What ...w..would you like as your reward?" She ventured a bit more shyly.

Giving a nod of his head he said, "From what I gather flowers are something that girls like to receive as gifts. I heard that candy is also something that is welcome but the merchant hasn't been by to visit in the passed couple days so I wasn't able to ask him about such things." Maybe he could save that for next time? He'd also heard that girls like jewelry but was that something that Sin'qua would like? If she was more like his sister, then sure, that would be a sure bet... but Sin'qua was very different from Eira leaving him a bit uncertain about that particular gift. Was there something that she might appreciate more? Hard to say...
"Hm? Well, if you're alright with it." He said as he got the gentle shove from Sin'qua, stepping inside her room, and stood there as she took the flowers from him seemingly one at a time. At the question about them he gave a bit of a laugh and said, "It took a bit of time since I had to find them through their scent first and then through the little bits of energy that they give off." It was a bit of a process, one that had to be done carefully since his version of sight really hadn't been able to tell him what flowers had thorns. Another reason to celebrate his healing magics he thought to himself idly.
Unable to help but smile when she gave him the peck on the cheek he asked, "So that means that you like them? Good, good!" Wait, what? A reward for all of his hard work? He seemed to think on that for a moment before he said, "Oh... well, I mean it was a gift... so one shouldn't be rewarded for giving gifts and you did already give me the kiss."

It was some how even more adorable to hear Makani explain that he had also wanted to get her candy and as she continued to transfer the flowers into their own individual jars with water in them she found her room was scented not only nicely but filled with the gifts that Makani had brought her. She made a mental note to press some of the flowers to make a keep sake.
She was however a tad disappointed when he declined getting a reward from her. She frowned slightly as she took the last flower and went to smell it.
"I imagine it was difficult for you." She managed and the flowers were nothing to write home about visually, but they did smell nice and she knew that Makani would of tried really hard to find something nice for her. Chewing on her lower lip she reached up and tucked a piece of his hair behind his ear before placing the flower there. Perhaps the roles were reversed but she knew he'd have a harder time trying to do the same for him.
"Ah...did you want to sit?" She managed awkwardly, he was in her room. The places to sit consisted of her one chair or her bed. She was trying to angle him towards the bed...

Makani gave a half shrug as she mentioned it being difficult, "Not too bad." He was willing to go on such an adventure to find the flowers for Sin'qua because that was what people did when dating. A thought that actually caused his cheeks to color a bit. Before Sin'qua the closest thing he'd had to a relationship had been a puppy dog crush when he was a youngling so this was all very, very new to him. All he could do was get advice from others as to what the 'right things' were to do and do his best to do them. Some of them were made more difficult due to his lack of sight but he'd do his best for Sin'qua.
"Ah? Sitting." He murmured, his magic swirling outward for a moment so that he could get a good lay out of the room again, as well as figure out where Sin'qua was. Given her position in the room it seemed that he couldn't exactly go to her desk chair without going through her... which left the bed? His cheeks darkened a bit more as he moved forward, settling down on the edge of the bed, hands resting in his lap. He'd go and sit at the desk but somehow he felt that was the wrong place to go after the way that she'd been scrambling around hiding everything that she could within said desk. It was doubtful that she would let him near to whatever secrets that the desk held so where he was might be his best bet. It would likely keep him in her good graces as well.
Giving a smile he asked, "So, you were busy when I arrived? I hope I am not underfoot."

Sin'qua licked her upper lip this time as he went to sit on the very edge of her bed, it was strange having a man sitting there. Yet this was her boyfriend now, the fact they they hadn't done very much as girlfriend and boyfriend was probably due to the inexperience of them both. She could hardly berate her brother for being oblivious when she had Makani and yet was too timid to do anything to him.
"Ah...busy? N...no..I mean I was writing bu.t...I don't mind stopping for you." She managed as she took a hurried glance back to her desk. Papers were sticking out of the drawer but Makani couldn't see that thankfully. Boldly she went to join Makani on the bed, sitting beside him her hands in her own lap. Like two awkward people who wanted to feel more comfortable around each other but just couldn't break the ice.
Why couldn't she just...break that barrier?? Like in her stories she mostly was the one who took charge, though in some stories she changed it up to make it more exciting. She doubted that Makani would take charge...so did that mean she would have to? Would she be able to be so bold as her main protagonist? Well she was missing some very important props if that was the case... but she could at least be more..forward. Should she try?
Turning her head a bit too quickly she was going to lean into Makani to kiss him passionately and instead mashed her forhead into his chin. What exactly had she been aiming for??? Cursing slightly at the pain she leaned back her hands on her forehead.
"Ow ow ow owow.." she hissed, "I'm soooooo sorry Makani!" was the next words out of her mouth.

"Ahhh, writing, I see. Anything interesting?" He asked in a curious manner. He knew that she had been writing of late, most everyone knew it, but only Eira seemed to really know what Sin'qua was writing about... but she hadn't told anyone. It had made Makani only that much more curious and he supposed this was a chance to ask her what she was doing? He couldn't help to also ask, "Are you working out new magic, perhaps?"
As she came closer to him he expected her to explain to him what she was doing... only to find himself surprised by her crashing into him, her forehead colliding with his chin, something that drew a cry of surprise from his lips, "Ah! What then... are you alright?" He asked, lifting one hand to his chew, checking his chin. It felt a bit like it was going to bruise if he wasn't careful... and as such he set to work casting a spell of healing upon himself and Sin'qua, wanting to see to it that both were healed after her impromptu 'attack'.

She had dreaded him asking about what she was writing about, she could out right lie to him but she felt bad about it. One should be able to have no secrets with their significant other right? Well as Makani kindly went to heal her aching head she went to take his hand and pull it away from her head. It was strange holding his hand, his fingers were slender but his hand was still that of a mans and much larger than her own.
"Ah....I guess its a kinda of magic....I like to dabble with my writing..." She managed her head still aching slightly, why she stopped him from healing her was mostly to remind herself not to be stupid.
"Um...can I ask you a question?" Sin'qua managed after a moment, "How...well can you 'see' me? Like I know you can't literally see, but your magical senses...what about me can you sense?"

"Ohhh, I see." He murmured, finding it interesting that she was working on something that was a kind of magic. It made him wonder what sort of magic it was that she was working on. To work on a special sort of magic one's own was a special sort of thing, something that Makani knew quite well given the way that he used his own magic so that he could 'see' things. In his own way at least.
Giving a nod he said, "You can ask anything and I can try to answer." Listening to her question he seemed to think about it, "Hmm, that is a good question. I see you in my own way and I can't exactly say how well it is that I 'see' since I don't know what normal sight is. I see your own personal aura, the energy that swirls around you, the magic you that you have, at times your feelings as well will play in." As he explained he tilted his head to one side, his magic seeming to swirl around to get a feel for what was going on around him.
"To truly 'see' you I would need to touch your face, to be able to trace it and learn the details through that method."

Swallowing she nodded her head, she had liked Makani because he was blind, he couldn't just a person baised solely on their looks. Though given her sour personality she wasn't entirely sure that she didn't force him into this relationship. Making a strange sound she moved his hand back to her face letting his palm cup her cheek.
Sin'qua felt sick, or rather butterflies were making a mess of her nervous system. Swallowing again she looked at Makani, his blonde hair...and fair features. "Why don't..we both learn each others features?" She managed after a bit of stuttering. "I will even close my eyes to make it fair."

Makani gave a smile, his fox eyes seeming to curve a bit more with his delight over what she suggested, "So we can trace one another, huh? Sounds like an interesting way to go about getting to know one another." He said, finding it especially sweet that she was offering to close her eyes as well so that she would be on even ground with him. Giving a little nod he said, "Yes, that does sound fair, doesn't it? Alright, I will take you up on that."
The hand that rested on her cheek started to move, tracing over her features carefully. Along her cheek, down along the bridge of her nose, her lips, the shape of her face, her ears and hair, taking in everything before giving a smile, "Very pretty." He murmured, finding her features to be quite enjoyable as it all came together in his mind, allowing him a picture of exactly what she looked like. Giving a smile Makani said, "Alright, you're turn, Sin'qua."

It was hard to sit still while Makani ran his fingers over the skin on her face. The mage hoped that she wasn't sweating cause that would be beyond embarrassing if she was. When his fingers came really close to her lips she had to resist the urge to take a nibble. Taking a moment she shivered when his hands finally dropped from her features. Feeling his fingers in her hair, on her face...it was probably the most intamint thing they had done.
Face flushing at the compliment she gave a low thank you.
It was her turn now, to touch his face and so she raised her hands and quickly reminded herself to close his eyes. It seemed a bit unfair..cause all she could see was the blackness behind her eyelids. At least he had his magic to vaugely sense things.
Slowly she ran her fingers over his chin line, up to his ears before coming back to gently prob around his eyes gently before up to where the gem was on his forehead. Down the bridge of his nose before pausing on his lips. She lingered there the longest, gently tracing the upper and then lower lip.
Perhaps because her eyes were closed she felt more bold, she went down along his neck, to his shoulder then back to the center before she found his chest, through the fabric she felt the muscles underneath and her face went red as she realized she went a bit further than Makani had.
"Ah..." She withdrew her hands reluctantly but taking a breath she went to take one of his hands and intended to allow him to trace her shoulders. Her aim was..off however.
