Super Punkin Stand of Mirthfulness!!!

A Sephos and Punkie Booth

This booth smells of growing things. As you come closer, you can see that in the back is a greenhouse of sorts. There are rows and rows of pots and other rows of plants, which you can wander through and enjoy - it smells of life. It is pleasant. In the corner is a green-hued shelter - Sephos’s portable recouparoon tent, apparently, because he doesn’t want to stay in a hotel and because he likes to take care of the plants at odd hours.

Punkie, cheerful as ever, dominates the front of the stall, which is decorated with all sorts of mirthful, punkin themed items. Occasionally Sephos joins her, though the difference in their enthusiasm is palpable.

They are offering you your very own punkin to grow. Do you accept?

ATTENTION!
This booth will reset at 10PM west coast time

Or about around there

Primp Your Punkin
User ImageUser Image

May 7th: Roll a D10
Sephos ‘lovingly’ hands you a punkin seed and Punkie gives you a small planter box. Punkie: Now you have to plant it! Give it a place to grow. Don't forget to add the ********!
Sephos: Seeds go INTO dirt. But don’t put them in too deep, or pack them in too hard, or give them too much water. They can drown.
He’s watching you all. Have fun.
Roll a D10 and post your result with the code below! Feel free to rp it out!

1: AUGH WHAT IS THIS! Sephos has been watching you flail around with the dirt and tools. Suddenly he comes up to your work area and forcibly takes the plot from you. He rants the whole time about how you NEARLY KILLED IT, YOU IDIOT and waxes botanical… but hey, at least he did it right for you! Score! (Your planter box starts at score 5)
2-4: Dirt is all over the workstation. Some of it in your hair, some in the troll next to you’s hair. Luckily some DID make it into the planter box. As you leave, one of the trolls (or both simultaneously) hand you a pamphlet titled “Gardening for Dummies” It is full of smiling faces and covered in dirt. (Your planter box starts at score 1)
5-7: Even with dirt, seeds, curses, and tools flying all over the place you manage to make your planter box look pretty similar to the example one. (Your planter box starts at score 3)
8-9: You lovingly caress the seed into the soil and water it carefully. As you hand over your pot, you see Sephos nod. Was that a nod of approval? (Your planter box starts at score 4)
10: As you step back to admire your hard work you feel a breath on your neck. As you turn around it appears that Punkie has been hovering over you. “Excellent work. I see ******** coming from this plot. The Messiahs’ will be pleased.” (Your planter box starts at score 6)

May 8th 9th 10th 11th and 12th: Roll a D6
Punkie and Sephos watch over the precious baby plants. You just need to come by once a day to tend to the small things. Water it, fertilize it, bring it a stuffed lusus so its not scared during the day... The usual things any loving gardener would do.
Punkie: Remember! Its proven that classical music will ******** up your plants, choose something with a little more miracle in it, like this!
Sephos:
Sephos does not comment.

Starting today?!? No worries! We got you covered!
For starting on may 9th
For starting on may 10th
May 11th
May 12th

1: Looks like a day squirrel got into the tent and found your planter box. The beast appeared to have dug around and buried a chestnut. Obviously, the plant is not happy about this. (+1 to your planter box, but you receive one chestnut, redeemable at Gastropod Games.
2: Someone left a boombox near your plant. You can faintly hear the quiet melody of juggalos rapping. Punkie winks at you. (+3 to your planter box)
3: Something grew in your box overday. It looks like a fungus or a plant - A weed! Get it out before it hurts your plant! (+2 to your planter box)
4:A beam of moonlight shines just perfectly upon your planter box, it looks like your little seed is going to grow to love the spotlight. (+2 to your planter box)
5: Do you secretly have a green thumb?! You swear the little seedling turned its newly grown leaves your direction as you walked into the greenhouse and would have jumped for joy, if plants could. (+4 to your planter box)
6: In their spare time, it looks like someone decided to tend to the little plant. Fertilizer is perfectly placed, the water level is on spot, and for some reason Sephos keeps glancing at your planter box. (+5 to your planter box)

May 13th and 14th: Slam Poetry
Today things are being mixed up a bit! Punkie announces that punkins have a great love for slam poetry. You can see Sephos rolling his eyes in the background, and sighing. Write a slam poem that you are going to recite in front of your tiny baby punkin. At the end of the day, all entries will be capriciously judged:

Starting today?!? No worries! We got you covered!
May 13th
May 14th

We will list all trolls that put in an entry of some sort (it doesn’t actually have to be slam poetry. It can be a short drabble or brief story, or a phrase, or a comment. But it has to be something.) this list will be randomized and the winners will get points and tickets!

The top one winners will get +5 to their planter box and receive one of the daily tickets. The 3 runner ups will get +4. All other participants will receive +3 to their planter box for participating. For those who start on this day, or do not participate, their punkin gets a +1 for ‘watching’ the competition. The second ticket will go to the best "poem" and the 3rd will be RNG.

May 15th: Roll a D4
THE FINAL TOUCHES

Oh wow! Despite everything, you now have a full-grown punkin! Look at it! Isn’t it beautiful! Isn’t it amazing! Spectacular! FANTASTIC??! Now you have to do something with it. Punkie has laid out glitter, paint, carving utensils and transfer sheets to fully pimp out your punkin.

Here is what you do - take the handy dandy punkin lineart provided by your mirthful hosts and… do whatever you want to it. Whatever colors, whatever everything. Follow your heart. And then post it here and roll 1d4.

For trolls who didn’t grow their own punkin at any point during the festival, they can’t make the below roll - they can, however, have a cookie. Put in your post that you are a newbie to the stand, and you will be entered into the raffled for one of the tickets!

1: Today was just not your day. No matter how impressive your line art was, something got in the way and it did not turn out quite how you thought it would. Punkie shrugs, Sephos is unimpressed, your punkin scores an ehhh in the decoration department. (+5 to final score)
2: Someone else interferes with your efforts to decorate (or not decorate) your punkin. The result… is okay. (+10 to final score)
3: Decorate, give your punkin a polish, and… Done! You are an artist! A master of guourdwork! Punkie approves.(+15 to final score)
4: Punkie is so moved by your mirthful ******** decoration skills that she breaks out into spontaneous rapping and praise. Even Sephos looks impressed - you get a nod. Great job!(+20 to final score)

Sephos, glumly glittering with stray glitter like a pupa friggin pan, watches the proceedings vaguely and is taking any punkin bits you happen to discard. What is he going to do with those? COOKIES, duh. These cookies are fresh baked, if sort of rough in shape, and free to all, even those without a punkin.

7-14 points: Tiniest Punkin
Your punkin is tiny. It is so tiny. It’s just… really tiny. Maybe you can use it to decorate or something!

15 points: You Tried
Look at you! You did your best! You were there every step of the way for your punkin, and you just ran out of luck at every round. Sephos’ lusus feels bad for you… Hoooom, hooom…

16 - 24 points: OK Punkin
Your punkin is… ok. It turned out ok. Not the best, but ok. Punkie smiles at you for your efforts.

25 - 31 points: Super Punkin!
Nice job! You have quite a punkin here. Sephos looks at your punkin for a long moment before going back to whatever he was doing, and Punkie gives you a thumbs up. (You will be entered into the raffle for a ticket.)

32- 39 points: Fantastic punkin!
Sephos gives your punkin a nod, and Punkie shakes your hand and smiles. You’ve got a good punkin here, buddy, and don’t you forget it! (You will be entered into the raffle for a ticket, and also into the running for a special prize!)

40+ points: Messiah Blessed Punkin of Punkinness!
Your punkin is nothing more than perfection. Huge, vibrant, well decorated… it will be spoken of in the scriptures for times to come, and will be worshiped as a sign from the messiahs… or made into a lot of really good pie. Up to you. (If you were this incredibly lucky, you will be entered in to win a ticket exclusively for this category. In addition, you automatically get a special prize!)

Bloodfest Bouquets!
Support Mirthfulness!!!

And this Greenblood, you guess.

Did you think this was all about Punkins? Well you were wrong! It's just mostly about Punkins.

In the little temporary greenhouse he's set up behind the stall, amidst the punkins and his own portable hive, Sephos is growing flowers and decorative plants – Lots of them. They are colorful and vibrant and they smell amazing, if you like that sort of thing.

His lusus – who is looming around, by the way, in case you didn't notice the enormous tree monster hoom-ing happily at all the activity around him – has encouraged him to try selling plants other than herbs and services other than gardening to other trolls, as this has proven to be a useful (and floral) endeavor for his past trolls.

User Image

So, Sephos is selling flowers. Of course, Punkie has encouraged him to sell them towards her own personal fund of mirthfulness, and that is how they're advertised, but Sephos doesn't care about that. For once, he actually thinks that this is a good idea.

So.

Here he is.

-----

User Image
So, bouquets of flowers! The perfect gift for a friend, a rival, a blackrom, or a lover! Whoever!
even yourself!

User ImageHere's how it works: Post the form below. You can rp with it, you can be participating in the punkin game with it, whatever – just post the form. Each user (not troll, user) can post up to three of these per day – in the same post or whatever. The forms will be processed and the bouquet grams delivered as fast as possible.

So, here is the form:
@)-,-- FLOWER TIME--'-(@
I would like to say this bouquet is for: (Name you want on the cert)
I would like to say this bouquet is from: (Name you want on the cert)
I want to say: (What message do you want on the thing, about 4-5 words)
Tag this person: (Username of the person it's for so they can be quoted. If you want to deliver them yourself, that's fine too.)

I want the bouquet to be: (The color of the paper wrapping – flat, light colors only please)
I want a ribbon of: (The color of the ribbon – flat colors only please)
I want these flowers: (Which flowers of which colors would you like? Pick three.)

I have demands!
(Any instructions on arranging the flowers or delivering the bouquet)
User Image

Now you probably have questions. Lets see if I have answers:

User Image1: Yes, you can put nicknames on the to or for categories. The Tag category is for the recipients username if you want me to tag them.
2: Yes, you can gift one of these to someone outside the shop, however only bloodfest participants may purchase them.
3: And by purchase, I mean free OOC. IC, assume that your troll is paying Sephos. I'm of the opinion that these would only be worth maybe 1k gaia gold back when 2k was a reasonable price for a BC pet, which basically means nothing in this gaia economy, so... lol. You don't have to pay nothing.
4: This is my reference for flower meanings
5: All bouquets can be picked up in the post below if you missed the drop or the tag!

Now to the important thing – the flowers! In each bouquet, you get to pick three. Sephos (I) will be arranging them so that they don't look terrible, though you are welcome to give him direction. He will follow any requests you give him because it's just easier to do so.

We have a variety of flowers in appropriately hemotyped colors. We have:

User Image
FERNS!
Lovely ground plants that have fronds and curls. Growing in the understory of the forest, a fern means 'fascination' in the language of flowers. It also just has pretty curls and leaves and is probably great for allergic trolls.

User Image
CONEFLUFFS!
These flowers grow on stocky bushes and are really lots of tiny flowers. They give off a sweet, honey-like scent. Apparently, they mean 'pride' and 'beauty' in the language of flowers, but to a troll they also mean 'class', since their original natural color happens to be purple.

User Image
CIRCLEBLOSSOMS!
Apparently, no one knows exactly what these flowers mean in the language of flowers, but mathy trolls might be enticed by the complicated arrangement of their petals. Either way, they are lovely!

User Image
STARBLOSSOMS!
They look a little like stars, and so in the trollian language of flowers, they mean something along the lines of... THE VOID. But also the unknown and the beautiful. They are a pretty basic flower, and honestly they grow everywhere in some way, shape or form.

User Image
TREE BRANCHES!
Not technically a flower but hey, tree bits are pretty too. And if Sephos has to prune saplings constantly, he might as well give the cuttings dye...

User Image
GRASSY LEAVES!
Usually, Sephos considers it a weed. But one day, someone shoved beetles at him for a pile of them in his cart and, well, there you go. Someone found a leaf pretty, maybe you will too.

User Image
BELLFLOWERS!
Apparently these flowers mean 'gratitude', 'constancy', and 'humility'. Their blossoms hang down, hollow and heavy, their stems bending under their own weight and – if you shake them just right – they might make a sound...

User Image
ROSES!
Ahh, the traditional rose. So many meanings, so many uses. What else can be said about the rose, other than it is soft, beautiful, and has thorns?

Sephos also has white and black flowers as well, for those not wanting to be limited to the hemospectrum rainbow:

Sephos Arbola

Sephos nodded to Punkie as he returned to the stall and began to set out the pots and the soil and the cut flowers and such. He cracked his knuckles and awaited the inevitable... everything... as his lusus settled into a comfortable viewing spot behind the greenhouse.

He was ready...

Are you?

Psykgi Mentha
(Obviously no ticket for meee)

Psykgi was finishing her circuit of her part of the booths, when she saw... flowers?! In winter?! "Oh gosh, what's this?!" she exclaimed, investigating. It appeared to be a punkin growing booth? But, how? How did you turn punkins into a competition?

Psykgi had no idea, but she would find out.

"I'll take a punkin, please!"

Psykgi planted her punkins, scrambling around with the dirt and tools, completely inexpertly. Yet, somehow, she managed to plant it. "Whew!" she had dirt in her hair, which meant she was probably going to take a break and wash up briefly, but she had done an... ok job. She handed her pot over and began contemplating the flowers... bouquets? how interesting...

On a break from his booth, Amonee Brycer noticed a nearby stall with an interesting premise. The duo manning the booth were somewhat of an odd couple with a loud excitable girl calling out to customers while the quieter moodier boy delicately assembled flowers in the back. Instantly, the jadeblood was sold. He wanted one of those!

"Excuse me, I'd like to plant a punkin!" The painter was given the appropriate tools and he got to work right away. He didn't quite know what he was doing however and sort of messed up packing in the dirt. Some of it ended up on his toga and he whined a little while trying to clean it off. Yeah it was just dirt, he got paint all over it all the time, but tonight was the first night of Bloodfest and he had to go back to his booth after this! Eventually he finished though and proudly stepped back to admire his work. Sure it was uneven and the dirt was a little too tightly packed but this was his precious baby punkin! And he would nurture her into the prettiest punkin ever!

Caiden saw the bright orange gourds and immediately bee lined for them. Orange was great, so were all the other colors, but orange was kinda the best. There was even a troll that matched the pumpkins! One orange for the gourd, and one green for the vine and leaves. "Oh My GLOB!" Caiden immediately yelled out. "You guys are like, the trol-ification of punkins! I mean one of you is ORANGE like the big round fruit part, and the other one is GREEN like the plant and the vines and the leaves and stuff! Did you guys set it up like that? That is SOOO cool! Oh man and LOOK AT THIS!! Im playing with DIRT! Its BROWN JUST LIKE ME! You guys thought of EVERYTHING! Hey do plants actually grow from these little seeds? They are so small i dont see how anything that big could come from something so small! It must be MAGIC!" Somehow, throughout his relentless yammering, Caiden managed to plant his seed and it even turned out okay. The brownblood left the booth completely covered in dirt, much to CamoDad's dislike.

Nucleo'd heard there was an interesting booth over in this direction and he was not disappointed! He had a garden at home, though it wasn't too fancy, so this was right up his alley! Recognizing Punkie from before, he smiled and accepted some seeds and got straight to work! Shifting the dirt around, his mind wandered and he was so distracted thinking about all of the stuff he wanted to get done that he made a huge mess!

"Oh no!" Embarrassed as it was too late now, he'd ruined his plot, the boy accepted his fate and didn't protest at all when some other nearby trolls snickered. He'd just have to show them tomorrow that he knew what he was doing!

Elidae just couldn't pass up such a cute and inviting booth, especially when it had to deal with gardening! In her apartment in New Hemisect, she had many plants and flowers around her hive, and a mini garden area on her balcony. Even if it was mostly for her lusus, she enjoyed the atmosphere the greenery brought to her hive.

Given the opportunity to grow her own punkin, Elidae jumped on it. She greeted the two adorable troll children with a bright smile, then prepared her planter with careful hands.
