It's like the dollar general store I work at. If I quit or leave, it'll go to s**t, I'm talking under new management. It's terrible. We've been without an official store manager for about a month now, someone needs to step in. It sucks, this is the longest era weve been in without having a manager. When Paul got fired, Byron only ran the store for like 4 days then james took over since he was the already scheduled replacement. Then when James quit, Bill took over. Once we found out james quit, Bill ran the store as acting for only like 2 weeks, but since he knew he was going to be the new manager, it doesn't count. He became acting for like 2 weeks so he could get the prep necesary, then after that he became manager within a month. He became official Store manager starting Nov 1 2014, but he became acting in like mid oct when james quit. So only took like 2 weeks, 3 at the most for him to be manager.
What's happening now? NOTHING!!!!!!! It's been a month since bill left on March 25, 2016. It's gonna be may soon and still have no manager (OFFICIAL). AManda can't be the manager cuz she has her own damn store. I feel sorry for her having to come to our store to handle the scheduling and payroll, and possibly the hiring in stuff. Since we have inventory soon, I heard she's gonna be at our store almost everyday to help prep for it. I feel soo sorry for her. She only gets paid for mileage. URGHHH that sucks. But yeah been over a month, and we currently have no store manager. Longest transition era w/o a manager yet. Soo stupid. Phillip (he's our District manager) needs to make me the new manager already. Doubt it will happen though. Oh well as long as I remain assistant, I will not leave.
Still though, over a month with no official manager. I'm technically the acting manager, Bill taught me everything he knew what to do as a manager, so I could do manager functions, but I still only earn assistant pay. I don't get paid enough for s**t. Screw that. When Amanda does make the schedules though, I am directly on the top though. Like as if I was the manager, cuz I am on the top.
