Saraf was dragged from his thoughts as he heard a voice calling into the house, something that caused him to push to his feet, a displeased look on his face. Who was that? Not a voice that he knew, which was something that had him stalking toward the door, one hand hovering over the hilt of his weapon as he went. Best that he saw to whoever was here before his mother got to them as she was likely to invite them inside. He went down the hall that went from the courtyard to the front door and he found him fact to face with a Leaf Tribeswoman, one that had a trident in hand.
His eyes went a bit wide with surprise before they narrowed with anger, drawing his sword from its sheath, "How dare you invade my home, wench! State your business before I cut you down where you stand!" He had no idea who this woman was, all he knew was that she wasn't supposed be here. If his mother was having her over as a guest he'd of known about it, meaning she was at best a thief.

Saraf gave a bit of a snort, "So you'll argue the point that you not knowing how to use your weapon correctly is your reason for not putting it down?" It was an interesting approach, making it seem as though she didn't know how to fight in closed quarters with her trident. Did he trust that? Was she acting like a weak little girl as a way to keep herself from getting run through? He supposed that it was possible? Not everyone had the same pride in themselves or their skills that Saraf had he thought to himself. There was a part of him, deep down, that couldn't but to be a little... amused.
"I will lower my weapon when you put yours down, again this is my house and therefore it's my duty to protect it from all invaders, especially those like you." Saraf said, shifting his body in a stance that showed he was ready to fight if it came to that, "As for the apologizing, I think not. You're a brainless twit that doesn't know the difference between a residence and a spa, not to mention you came in without knocking. I have nothing to apologize for but you've plenty."

Saraf's eyes narrowed, "Only half blind, not deaf." He said in a sarcastic fashion, taking a step forward in what he hoped would be an intimidating fashion. How annoying were these Northerners? All of the ones he met just rubbed him the wrong way, but then again that could be said for both genders he supposed. There was only one that he'd ever met that wasn't frustrating, but even he'd ended up annoying Saraf in the end.
"You're obviously thick headed if you think this place is a spa! They are big, open air places, crowded ones, it's not going to be found in the middle of a residental area!" He said, wondering if she was that dumb? Here he'd told himself that he wanted to try to get on a bit better with the Northerners, not because he wanted to be friends but because he'd need to be amiable if he meant to become General one day. This one was obviously sent by Nerad, King of the Gods, to test him and his patience to their lmit through the stupidity of the Leaf Girl.
Giving a hiss, teeth gritting slightly, "Ffff... By Nerad's beard... I swear you're a grand annoyance at best, woman." He said, taking another step forward... when he heard a throat clearing. Turning to look over his shoulder he found his mother standing there and he gave a sigh, "Mother."
The woman looked far too young to be a mother to someone Saraf's age, but then again she'd always seemed quite young. Something that gave Saraf a lot to worry about when it came to everyone. Giving the pair a glance between Saraf and the woman before she said, "How about the two of you stop battling in the entrance way, please? I am sure we can talk this over." Said in a way that Saraf couldn't ignore as she sighed and sheathed his weapon. Shaking her head she said, "Seriously Saraf, carrying a weapon in the house?"

Emi opened up her mouth to answer but Saraf lifted a hand to wave at the Leaf woman in a dismissing manner, "If you want to make it up to us then you will just leave this place the same way you came." He said, his eyes narrowed. He didn't want her in his place, didn't want her near his mother. He didn't trust her and felt that all she was going to do was take advantage of a woman who was too sweet and naive for her own good, "Just go, I am sure you will find the spa with time."
"Saraf, how about you show her where it is? It's not that far from here after all." Emi suggested, giving her son a smile before she turned her head to look over at Phaedra, "Please don't mind my son, he's a good son, but a protective one."
"I have good reason, mother. I am sure she will be fine and be able to find her way." Alright he really didn't think that, feeling the woman wasn't too smart, but he wouldn't tell his mother that. If she thought the girl was that dull witted then she'd make sure that Saraf escorted her, not something he wanted to deal with for even a moment.

Saraf went completely stockstill, his eyes going a bit wide eyed as the woman was suddenly saying something about cooking for his mother. It was something that almost instantly enraged him just thinking about it. She wanted to get into his kitchen near to their food and sharp impliments? Not on his watch... turning to look at his mother he said, "I will bring her to the spa." He said, stalking forward before he caught hold of Phae's arm, dragging her out the front door.
"Lock the door behind us, Mother, so nobody else can just wander in." He wasn't the sort that wanted to help a member of the Leaf Tribe, but better escorting her then having her get close to his mother. He didn't trust this one any where near his mother. Once they were outside he released her and said, "Start walking. I will show you where the spa is but that is the extent of my kindness, woman."
