Born in Russia and raised between St. Petersburg and Ashdown, Aleksy claims he came back to Ashdown for an artist residency and just never left. (Not true.) Now he runs a flower shop to keep himself busy, even though he doesn't particularly have a need for money. As bitchy as he is short (and he's quite short) Aleksy has few friends, in part due to his crappy attitude, but mostly due to his independent streak. He thinks he knows better than you and expects you to take his advice even if you're twice his age and twice as experienced as he is. Should you offer him advice, however, expect the cold shoulder. He can handle himself!

A long-time Ashdowner, Kally is a high-school dropout whose problem isn't so much money as time. She's seventeen, and that means she can't rent, and a generally a** family situation means she's out on the street. However, she's the type to put a strong face on everything and find the best solution she can. Which is why she can be seen pretty much everywhere. Kally is at the grocery store, stocking shelves. Kally is delivering packages for old ladies. Kally is making sandwiches at Darlene's. Kally is cleaning Bibliophile. Kally is wiping down machines at the gym.

Kally has been arrested for truancy five times. She's a sweet girl, it's just a bad situation.

Skinny minny punky princess. Elizabeth (or Asimov, as she prefers to be called) was raised by her older brother Aime, who calls her Lizzy. She's active in online body-hacking communities, and an avid proponent of feminist bodyhacking; she works at a tattoo parlor and volunteers her time to help victims of trauma 'reclaim' their bodies by covering old scars or just marking something up. She's going to get arrested someday for her white-knight hacking, but it hasn't happened yet and maybe it never will.
