You read the title correctly. It seems that we're getting not one, but TWO Fire Emblem games into the mobile, according to Serenes Forest. So far, we don't have any information expect that it still retain the key value of Strategy RPG as well as being more accessible than previous games.

What do you think of this idea?
What features you hope to see in these apps?
Will those apps be restricted (aka: what type of phone, localization, etc.) or be opened for all?

As for those who don't own a smartphone (or don't want to use the phone for games like myself), there is an smartphone emulator for computers that you can download. Problem is I don't know if the apps available for both Andriod and iPhone or specific type of smartphone. Only time will tell.

All else aside, I will highly likely not consider these games official Fire Emblem games.

Honestly Rath, we really don't know much about those games. It can either be a remake of the FE games or a branch game similar to Kingdom Hearts app.

I say it's best to get more news about those games before deciding whether they should be count as official or branch games like FE Mirage which both FE and SMT fans are not happy about what they expect.

How heck can they make it MORE accessible, they already removed durability in Fates and made it plenty accessible the last two games. Whats next? Weapon Triangle? Gonna take away supports again? The pair up system? Maybe needing items to promote?

To be fair, I was thinking more if being accessible of obtaining the game. As in it will be available on smartphone compare to the previous games where you need a certain console to play. sweatdrop

The question is, what will their gachapon system be. Charactes? Weapons?

Also I'm assuming that this game won't play out like the exactly main games and just be some random game based off the world kind of like Final Fantasy Record Keeper or that Tales games I forget the name of.

EDIT: for people who don't know, gachapon system is basically their cash grabbing system I assume it'll get like all smart phone games do

Probably both or maybe maps like how DLC are in the last two games.

But I won't be surprised about it becoming a "freemium" (or gachapon as you say) game.

There are ways to make a game work on the mobile platform, gachapon being an effective one that allows playing the actual game free.

Walking Dead: Road to Survival and Star Trek Timelines are both good examples of how a mobile game allows you to form a team out of randomly found characters. They have their in-game currency that you pay real money for that allow you to buy higher tier characters and weapons that you would otherwise have to be lucky to get.

An FE mobile game could be a potentially outrealmish situation where you can get characters from all games and follow a story. It would essentially be FEF....

And replaced it with stat buffs and debuffs per weapon. Seemed like a fairly even trade to me. But that's neither here nor there.

When I heard about FE mobile, is it bad that I envisioned one of those silly dating sim storyline things for mobile phones that my college friends had? Like you wait five hours and then you can get another advancement in someone's support conversations or pay a buck to get them now or something.

Personally I've never been into mobile games. I know there are fans out there that do that like mobile games and they're allowed to do so. I'm just not very keen with using phone number keys to play a game. They just seem like games to kill for time while waiting for the bus or sitting in an office being bored with nothing to do.

Like I remember I had a bowling game and a few other games like backgammon or some sky diving game on my super old phone back in middle school. I did find myself playing that bowling game quite often now that I think about it. But they weren't anything special because I was bored and nothing else. XP

With Fire Emblem as a mobile game? Ehh.. maybe it could work. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to get it.

Not gonna lie that I played otome (girl dating visual novel) games on the mobile emulator. >.>;

However, I deleted both the game and the phone emulator because waiting for hours just to receive ONE energy is boring and didn't want to pay just to progress the story. I just hope Intelligent System isn't going to put "wait one day to get one turn per game." That will be a d**k move. Of course, that won't happen.

Like I said in the first post, you can download the mobile emulator on your PC. Some do cost money while others are free to download. The only thing besides that is having an gmail account (dunno what sort of account Apple use to get to Apply Store) when you need to download a game from Android App store.

Ah right, if you can download a mobile emulator to play the games, then I guess that's acceptable.

(Also I have never heard of this so-called dating sim mobile game lol )
