In the last Ask the Staff session, someone asked if the "You own this item." notification in a Marketplace listing could specify the quantity of the item in your inventory, and you pointed out that it already does, as a tooltip. I just wanted to remind you that it doesn't work right for game items. No matter how many of a game item you actually have, the tooltip will say you have exactly 1 of it. Is there any hope that this could be fixed soonish, or would it require a complete overhaul of the Marketplace or even Inventory system?

Hey there! We are currently trying to update welcoming fairy but there's a weird bug with her that we're trying to solve for. We have new messages and updated gold payouts, it's just getting her to behave.
We are also looking at fishing! No need for a fundraiser. It's just very old code and needs a ton of TLC. When we have an update someone will post a staff notice.

Supersonic is a partner of ours, and we cannot perform maintenance on their services. That said, we're working with Supersonic to try and make the Gaia Cash redemption process go as smoothly as possible!

Unfortunately that's not something that we'll be able to do as it will require a massive amount of overhaul for something very niche and specific.
Would you please explain the reasoning here; is it a database issue or configuration issue?

I've asked this a few times over the last year and haven't gotten a response yet, nor have I seen any items that reflect my request! Anyway, I was still wondering if we will ever see comic book-inspired items on Gaia? We have so, so few and yet we're drowning in anime, video game, and movie references with new ones being released, like, every other day! But comic books are becoming more popular along side the comic book movies flooding theatres! I'd love to know if anything is being planned. emo

There's no direct rule against entering multiple accounts in the same contest. Can the be an official ruling on the matter?

My questions is simple...what is up with all the broken Gaia Cash offers there are several serious offenders of this. Many people complain about this in the bug's forum and it goes unanswered.
Please some of us can not afford to pay your guys real cash so we support the site by doing the free offers thus giving you ad revenue. Its not fair that you guys get the ad revenue but we do not get our rewards.

Other reasons questions may not be answered is because we have already addressed the question, or we have no update for it, or we don't have an answered prepared.
In this case, it is the former.
One of our fears in the Fishing community is being forgotten about. Can someone let us know every few weeks what the status is, even if there hasn't been a change?
There is normally an update about every few weeks when ATS gets hit with a bunch of Fishing questions and we reiterate that we have no update at the moment that we can post to the community and that when we have said update we will make a staff notice. It's not being forgotten about. We know Gaians want it. We know it's something that is incredible desired.

i skimmed through the thread and i don't believe this question was asked. if it was already answered elsewhere, i apologize.
so, the AEI didn't update last week and we didn't get any alerts or response as to why it didn't update. could we please get an explanation for it now? this was an anticipated update since we only see an evolution every two weeks, and the expectation of seeing new stuff was obviously let down. if there's anything that happened, i think people who've been waiting for it would like to know the answer!

The AEI update was delayed due to some technical trouble on our end. Look forward to the next installment this Friday!

Not really a question, but I was playing with the avatar builder while I had a paw base equipped. I thought it was a little weird when I selected a human skin that it showed the generic male avatar I usually see under my human base whenever I pick to show the other gender. So I decide to look for an item I know is in my inventory to see how it looks with some other items I selected from the database. Nothing shows up. So I type a description to try to pull it up in case I was misspelling the name. Lo and behold, the only items that show up are for the paw base, but the base I’m using in the builder isn’t a paw. I try a few other items and sure enough, I cannot search for anything that can be equipped except for the base I am using outside the builder.
