How do Breedings Work?

♦ Basically speaking, when a pair of Elykosi want to have children, they perform a ritual, where a piece from each of their Heart Crystals breaks off and fuse together into a new crystal. That crystal then shatters further, dividing into a heart crystal for each kit in the litter.

♦ This means that Elykosi can breed regardless of gender, but also that they must have a resting period after breeding, for their Heart Crystals to heal up.The limit is that each Elykosi can only breed once per two months. So if they got a breeding in April (even if it's at the end of April), they will have to wait until June begins to breed again.

♦ Right now there are two types of breedings. There's your traditional paired slots, where you find a partner and enter your Elykosi together, and you can potentially get more kits via RP-ing together, or using Heart Crystals. Then there's the mystery slots, where you enter your Elykosi alone, and I will randomize pairs, so you don't know who you might pair up with! Reminder that same-sex pairs are a thing in this shop, so if your Elykosi is strictly heterosexual or homosexual, you probably shouldn't enter into the mystery slots, you never know who you'll get!.

♦ Also note that the mystery slots are not eligible for RP, newbie, or Heart Crystal additions to litter size. They will always be 2-3 kits with a potential extra for Ascended Elykosi.

Things to Note

♦ Remember that breedings cost money, you can find the prices on the top-most link of this post. The only exception are mystery breedings!

♦ Each person can submit two breeding forms per month. Can be two paired slots, two mystery slots, one of each, etc.

♦ Bribes are "infinite" slots, I'll take on as many as I feel like doing.

♦ I'll maybe CC some paired slots, but mystery slots are not eligible for CC

♦ I won't delete forms at the end of the month, it will be up to you guys to void and repost any changes, or delete forms of pairs you no longer want breeding for. But if you have two forms already up and you post a third, I'll assume you don't want your first form anymore and will ignore it.

♦ If you are rolled or chosen via CC, please send Valkymie your trade and I'll get started on your breeding! I'll spoiler out any chosen breedings. Also it's up to the parents to decide how to pay (usually half and half). Mystery breedings are free!

♦ Though you can post two forms per month, you can only win one breeding per month. Paired slots will be chosen/rolled first, then mystery slots.

♦ Accessories (edits that aren't part of your Elykosi's body) that your Elykosi "came with" have a chance to be passed down to children, but they might not be carbon copies or in the same place. Accessories that were bought or won and then added to your Elykosi cannot be passed down via breedings.
