■ QUIET Glynn is a quiet child, rarely speaking unless spoken to. This comes from a lifetime of being distant from his family and an estrangement from his own mother. He tends to keep to himself in new situations until he feels comfortable, and will often only talk to people he knows rather than anyone new.
■ INTELLIGENT Glynn is rather intelligent, and often has an arsenal of information he has learned over the years from books. He also happens to be rather observant and watches what happens around him, believing that there is a treasure trove of information to be learned if someone pays attention.

CHILDHOOD Glynn is the child of Gwenith Llewellyn and an unknown man, a result of a night gone horribly wrong for Gwenith. She hadn't even known she was pregnant afterward, not even showing until the seventh month and still exhibiting all the signs that she wasn't pregnant. When she discovered she was, it was too late to end the pregnancy and Glynn was born early. While he was small, he only needed a few weeks in the hospital to get to a size he could survive on his own without assistance and was able to be brought home. When he was, he was promptly ignored by Gwenith, who swore that she didn't want a child to begin with and decided to let her parents raise him instead.
For Glynn, this led to a rather estranged relationship with his mother. His grandparents, while supportive, were also a bit distant, as they couldn't figure out how Gwenith had become pregnant to begin with. Gwenith, of course, was silent on the matter, not wanting to have the stigma of being a victim on her. Glynn spent a good chunk of his childhood being ignored, and the young boy grew used to silent dinners and short conversations. He did find that he developed a love of reading as a result, and spent hours in his grandparents' study just absorbing as much as he could from the books he found there. When he got his Hogwarts letter, he was ecstatic. He was finally going to go to school and learn at the same place that his family had, and he was eager to actually learn magic. Of course, he figured that he would have to work hard, as he wanted to do well and graduate with honours from school. It also would mean that he'd finally get to meet kids his own age, as he didn't know of any his age in the neighbourhood he grew up in. It was going to be an adventure for him in his mind, and he wanted to experience all that the school had to offer as a result.

SCHOOL YEARS
- FIRST YEAR First year was a learning experience for Glynn. He was sorted into Ravenclaw and promptly realized he found himself quite different from his peers because of his upbringing. However, he did manage to make friends, even if some of the other students he thought were much more immature than they should have been at their age. He even managed to make the quidditch team as well as a chaser. He did accompany a group of other students in exploring the castle, which was rudely interrupted by Peeves. Overall he thought that his first year could have been a lot worse than it actually was.
SECOND YEAR Glynn should have thought differently about how it was first year. After he got home from school, he had proceeded to spend merely a brief two days with his family before he found out he had a father, in the most horrific way possible. His mother's family was murdered before him, and he was taken by his father to Norway, where he discovered that Roald was insane. His aunt Frey decided to visit, only to be taken prisoner and used as leverage against Glynn. Not knowing where to turn, when he returned to school, he was dismayed to find out he had other relations there and fell into a deep depression. He was also confronted by his friends, who were unaware of what happened to him. When Rey suggested a trip to possibly get Glynn to act like he used to, Glynn decided to take that opportunity to try and remove himself from his father's mad equation. Unfortunately it failed, and Glynn left school for the summer, terrified about what the next few months would bring.
THIRD YEAR Glynn's third year was no better than his second. He returned to his father's home for the summer, not seeing his aunt at all in the time that he was there, though he was certain that she was still alive. When he returned to school, he was at least relieved about being back, because at least he was away from his father. However, his relief was short-lived, as he then had to deal with his cousin, Balder. Glynn reluctantly went with Balder to Balder's family over winter break, fearing what would happen to his aunt. It was toward the end of the school year that Glynn found out his aunt had been murdered by his father.
FOURTH YEAR Fourth year began with the most bizarre series of events for him. That summer, he had been taken back to Austratt, but not before he'd encountered his cousin again who had tried to get Glynn to tell him what was going on and in the ensuing argument, losing his ring. When he got to his father's home, he was of course punished, but then his cousin, alongside said cousin's best friend and acquaintance, managed to break him out. Glynn was terrified of, and later proven right about, his father's retaliation, which resulted in numerous murders. The only thing that came out of the entire escapade was that Glynn was finally free of Roald, and the man was dead. He spent the school year in a sort of haze, disbelieving that it had actually happened but at the same time trying to forget the last two years of his life.
FIFTH YEAR Fifth year was a year of change for Glynn. Not only did he have to take OWLs, but he also had dropped quite a few classes in an attempt to regain his independence. He also dyed his hair, which drew the attention of a girl a year younger who he might have freaked out by accident with his comments about his interests.
SIXTH YEAR Glynn's attempts to forget what happened to him continued into sixth year. where it finally came to a head. He was becoming less and less able to cope with the events concerning his father, and finally he'd gotten tired of trying to pretend that he was okay. Thankfully Ivar had been able to find him and get him to talk about the issues, allowing Glynn to realize that it was okay for him not to be okay with what happened to him.
SEVENTH YEAR Seventh year was slightly hectic, between studying for NEWTs and managing quidditch. However, it was worth it to see Glynn graduate with an undefeated team and an actual direction in life. He hoped that this meant that his bad luck in life was well behind him.
