And there it was. The stupid comic book shop that jack-a** writer told her to beat it to. "As if I'd ever find anything of value to me here." She scoffed with defiance. It would be an insult to take his advice. However, she needed see for herself by actually checking it out. That way, she could confirm how WRONG he was. Humph. Kitty slowly let herself in, inching and keeping her limbs close to her frilly body. Comics. Blech. Give her a manga, shoujo, anime, kawaii plushies and Lolita goodies. Not this smelly boy haven of Nerdville!

When one first entered the 4th wall, they would immediately see a section to the right near the window display that had beanbag chairs and comics for people to relax and read. Immediately visible after that was a clear section of comics that was split up by universe (DC and Marvel the biggest sections) but then it shifted. Manga, manhwa, and a few doujinshi took over along with associated items. There was an entire section of plushies and figurines and another that showcased lolita (at least for this month). Nevermind that there was, in the furthest reaches in a corner, a section of handmade costume gear. It was extremely well made. For the moment there seemed to be no sight of an employee but the entire store had a faint fragrance of roses.

It smelled.. nice? But how could that be? It had a Bean-Bag-Hippie corner! And rows of dumb comics! And.... and... "Oh my stars." Kitty scuttled deeper into the abyss as she approached what looked to be manga. Not just manga, but doujin and other forms of the art as well! And what was that over yonder? Kawaii swag!? Did this mean she didn't have to solely rely on online shipping anymore? Kitty started to relax her sneer ever so slightly. Maybe this place wasn't so bad after all? As she walked further down the line, mentally making her shopping list, she saw them; Lolita inspired merchandise. It wasn't the magazines she'd wanted, but it was something. Anything with frills and lace would simply have to do. Well, no matter! There were plushies to be cuddled. Mangas to giggle over. Doujins to criticize! Figurines to admire! Kitty allowed herself one long and happy sigh. Yes, she had found a small utopia inside a hidden gem disguised as a smelly boy shop. . . . Some shot time later, her arms were too full to flip through a manga anymore. So full she had to judge the books by their cover and try and lift one with her nails alone. The struggle was real, and it was making her face red. "Just where is the shop help around here?"

In true fashion on the character he was today, a hand puppet appeared over the top of a shelf. "Do you need help, my lady?" The puppet gave a short bow and straightened up. It definitely might have been Tuxedo Kamen puppet.

Kitty turned her head. What she was met with had her torn. Should she be insulted that someone decided to talk to her through a hand puppet? Or should she allow this, given that it was Tuxedo Kamen? She made up her mind quickly. "I do!" She announced, her nose in the air for all of one second. The jostle of the action was throwing off the balance she had going in her arms. She squeaked and managed to save a tumbling plush toy before it tumbled to the floor. "Yes.. a great deal of help is required."

"Then help you shall receive." With flourish, the puppet bowed and disappeared. A moment later, a man appeared in a perfect Tuxedo Kamen costume next to her. "If you would allow me the honor of helping you, I'll carry some of your treasure for you." There was a glint in those pale blue eyes behind the mask as he too performed a bow.

She must be dreaming! If not, then she was about to fall in love, right there in the comic book shop. Her eyes sparkled as he smile grew wider. "O-of course!" Yes! Finally. Service befitting a princess! There was the chance this was some weirdo who dressed up to pick up chicks. However, Kitty's rose coloured glasses were painting a much different picture. Before her eyes was a perfect man. She held out the bundles of mangas, plushies and figures in her arms; all the while she was mentally swooning over this man. Tuxedo Mask..

Tuxedo Kamen, as that was who he was for the time being, was utterly charming. Right down to the smile he gave Kitty when he was helping take things from her arms. He even managed to carry things in such a way that nothing was getting crushed or crumpled - he was just that good. "Was there anything else my lady had her eye on?" he asked, shifting things in his arms before focusing back on her. Some part of the rose smell was obvious because he had a fresh red rose that was pinned to his tuxedo.

Kitty was nearly flabberghasted. She could hardly form words or thoughts. This real life Prince Charming was waiting on her hand and foot. Suck it, book store guy! she thought to herself triumphantly. "I, um, yes~ As a matter of fact there is." She said with a flip of her hair. She held a hand up to point out a princess looking figurine on a top shelf. "You're tall~ Might you get that for me?" She asked, as sweet as a sugar cube. This was further played up with a small wiggle ad a batting of her eyes.

As much as Kitty was playing it up, so was Tuxedo Kamen. Though he may have got a bit of an extra twinkle in his eye (because she called him tall). "Let me place these on the counter and then I'll get it down for you." With a graceful half-bow, and a flutter of his cape, he turned to walk down the aisle and go towards the back of the store and set the items she had picked out down. He was back a moment later, giving her a wink, as he leaned and reached up for the princess figurine to offer it out to her. "For my lady's inspection." (Cid was sending Algie a thank you card.)

He was the real deal! That bow~ That flutter of his cape~! Kitty was practically obsessed with him now. She was already in the process of imagining the creation of a shrine dedicated to him in her room. With her heart in her throat, she took the figurine from his hands, inwardly freaking out about how close he was Oh Em Gee! She could barely speak, barely think. Clearly she had met her destined love for all of eternity! "I-it will suffice." She replied in a stammer, holding the princess figure closer. "Um.. might I inquire if there is any.. Sailor Moon merchandise.. that I may purchase?" She'd liked the show before, but now? She would become the leading expert on it.

Tuxedo Kamen smiled again, giving Kitty another pleased smile. "I'm am glad it does." Not that he was really thinking anything other than absolutely being in character. Except that he was going to have to break the fourth wall here a bit ... "Oh? You mean Lady Serenity?" Those eyes were twinkling behind his mask again. "Yes, of course, I shall show my lady to what little we have." Then he was bowing again, his arm offered out for her to take a hold of. "If you would allow me to escort you, it would be my pleasure."

It took every force of will left inside Kitty not to squeal like a fangirl and flip her s**t right there. She gave herself silent promises that she could let loose at home. That's what home was for; letting go of the proper princess charade and being her dumb quirky and crazy self. With a firm upper lip, she took hold of his arm. Every inch of her skin was nearly vibrating with the tension of holding back her inner fangirl. "Thank you. Although I was hoping for some figures that might possibly feature yourself as well..." For the Obsession Shrine.

His hand even gently rested against Kitty's, gloved fingers not quite touching but just barely there a moment. "Ah, well ..." There was that charming smile again, so humble. "I might but they are silly novelties." He escorted her a little further, closer to the register, where they were at the end of one of the aisles and there was an entire little display of Sailor Moon (showcasing Sailor Moon Crystal and the newest season of it). There more than a few figurines, including several of the man she was standing next to, as well as plushies and playing cards and ... You got the idea.

Kitty briefly compared her encounter with the Book Store Man and this lovely gentlemen, and wondered how she hadn't gotten whiplash from the large scale of difference. Tuxedo Kamen was the Prince of her Dreams! A soft touch of her hand, a charming smile, and a flourish of his cape; he was perfection. She could get lost in his eyes for eternity! She found herself at the counter, her purchases waiting for her there. Barely even looking, she selected a handful of Tuxedo Mask figures and cards and set them on the counter. Some DVDs were also added. And manga. Lot's of Sailor Moon manga. Her attentions were otherwise fixed on the charming prince before her. "So.. Do you often work here?" She asked conversationally, her smile and doe eyes betraying what her attempt at coy grace could not cover up; pure puppy love.
