❖xH I S T O R Y ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ CHILDHOOD: Jonathan was born as the youngest son of Harold and Gina Whyte. Always a quiet child, he was usually shadowed by his much louder and outgoing older brother Joshua, but never forgotten by his parents. He liked learning and was always curious; he did very well at school. While they weren't very close, Jonathan and his brother still loved and played with each other, usually at the local park or at home. Other than a few odd incidents that were barely noticed, he had a normal muggle childhood. However, his world was turned upside down when a man visited their home with a letter from Hogwarts telling him that he was a wizard. His parents did not believe him at first, but Jonathan thought that explained the oddness that sometimes occurred around him, like the tv and computer breaking down sometimes when he used it. Joshua was slightly jealous but he mostly proud and when they eventually believed the man, so were his parents and together, they went to Diagon Alley and experienced magic for the first time and Jonathan thought school couldn't start soon enough.
SCHOOL YEARS: It was at Hogwarts where Jonathan began to come out of his shell. He was sorted into Ravenclaw and quickly made friends both within his house and among the rest of his year. He loved his school work and would happily do all his homework and looked forward to all his classes, even the somewhat boring History of Magic lessons. He explored the castle and visited the library often and during summers, he would always bring his parents and brother magical gifts he would buy in Hogshead when he could visit there. He was even chosen as a Prefect in his fifth year and played for Ravenclaw's Quidditch team as a beater. While he didn't become Head Boy, he still passed his OWLS and NEWTS with flying colours and graduated.
POST-GRADUATION: Jonathan decided to work in the Ministry because he thought it would be interesting and because of it's close proximity to home. He started as a secretary in the Department of Magical Transportation. After a couple of years working in this position, he encountered the young and and some-what known Auror Evelyn Jacobs. While he had encountered her before at Hogwarts, she was a couple of years older than him and in a different house. In fact, other than Quidditch matches and her appointment as Head Girl, he had had no regular interaction with her. But, seeing her striding confidently through the atrium to give her latest report, he thought he had fallen in love; he always considered her pretty back at Hogwarts but in that moment, slightly ruffled and dusty in the aftermath of a raid, he thought she looked beautiful. However, he didn't talk to her until a few years later when he saw her at the pub. By then, he mostly forgotten about his feelings and decided to start a friendly conversation. While awkward at first, they warmed up to each other and become friends. They regularly spent time together before Jonathan realised he had fallen for her again and this time, Evelyn shared his feelings. They soon got married with both their families' blessings and a year after that, Reyna was born. Their life continued on with the added joy of their child but despite their efforts, Eve wouldn't get pregnant again and Reyna remained an only child. While saddened, they never lost hope and they didn't let that diminish their joy.

CHILDHOOD: Evelyn was born to Theodore and Susan Jacobs, two Aurors, and would become the oldest of their three children. While her parents' worked in shifts to ensure that the children were never alone, it still strained the family and it was rare for the Jacobs to spend time together, and so Eve and her siblings, Meredith and Eli, grew to cherish whatever family time they could squeeze in. Because she was the oldest, Eve was responsible for taking care of her siblings and while she sometimes resented it, she did so dutifully and the three spent a lot of time playing together in their big house or in the gardens. When Eve's Hogwarts letter came, she was elated because while she loved her family, she longed to spend some time alone and away from them because rarely were they out of each other's company
SCHOOL YEARS: Eve's Hogwarts life was mostly uneventful. Being born after the final defeat of Voldemort meant that she grew up and enjoyed a time of peace. She was sorted in Slytherin and excelled in her studies, later even playing as a Chaser for her house's Quidditch team. And while she made many friends she still missed her family dearly. Eve also tried to stay away from the many people who still believed in the superiority of purebloods; such beliefs and ideologies were discouraged by her parents and she considered it stupid. In her fifth year, she was made a prefect and it was during this year that she decided on her future. She initially had no idea what she was going to do after Hogwarts, but when her mother was badly injured in an Auror raid during the winter holidays, she was terrified. On visiting her mother in St. Mungo's and seeing how badly her mother suffered and how guilty her father was for not preventing his wife from getting injured, she vowed to become and Auror and prevent something like that from happening again. Her mother later retired from the Auror corps because of a disability caused by her injuries, which only solidified her dream. She studied even harder and got excellent grades in her OWLS, and was later even appointed as the captain of Slytherin's Quidditch team as well as Head Girl, before graduating with flying colours.
POST-GRADUATION: After graduating, she was selected for the Auror program and went through the vigorous training before finally becoming a fully-fledged Auror. She rose through the ranks quickly and became known for her tenacity and skill. It was during this time she met Jonathan Whyte. She had seen him at Hogwarts but because he was two years below her and in a different house, they never interacted outside Prefect meetings and Quidditch matches. She met him at a pub when he decided to start talking to her and while she found it annoying at first, she warmed up to him quickly and they soon became close friends. After spending so much time in each other's company, Eve found herself falling for him and to her great joy, he loved her too. With their families' blessing, they got married and had Reyna a year later. While they were all happy together, they still wished to have another child but unfortunately, Eve couldn't conceive again. Discouraged, they gave up and focused more on Reyna, but even after years, they haven't given up hope. Then one day, Eve felt exceptionally sick and tired and after consulting with a physician, she was delighted to hear that she was pregnant again, even though it caused most people around her to treat her like a fragile flower. She gave birth to a baby girl, Gemma in early summer.

It’s not easy to get Reyna angry, but when she does, she becomes very aggressive and confrontational. While she’s never the first to throw a punch, she doesn’t hesitate to retaliate and can hold her own, whether it be in a brawl or in a duel, and she doesn’t pull her punches and even resorts to cheap shots if needed. Her aggressiveness isn’t always physical; when challenged or when someone makes a statement or does something she finds stupid, she engages in arguments and can be very caustic. Because of her stubbornness, she hates to admit that she’s wrong in an argument. Even though she almost always apologizes when she’s calmed down, especially when she’s in the wrong, it still causes tension between her and her classmates.
♦ Ambitious:
Ever since she was nine, Reyna’s goal was to become the Minister for Magic to help improve the lives of her loved ones. Excluding that, Reyna is a naturally competitive person and she loves to be the best, whether it was in academics or in sports, it doesn’t matter, and she always keeps high standards for herself. Whenever she has a goal, she’s determined to complete it to the absolute best of her ability, something that sometimes puts off her friends.
♦ Introverted:
While Reyna has no trouble talking to people and making acquaintances, she doesn’t make close friends easily. She enjoys spending time with her friends and she’s very cheerful and talkative with them, but if she doesn’t know them well, she would make small talk but would much rather do other things. That is why unless she is with friends, she hates big social events because she would get bored and lonely quite easily.
♦ Inquisitive:
Reyna loves learning and has a thirst for knowledge. She would read and listen to anything as long as the subject matter is interesting. She always takes the opportunity to ask questions and would not stop until she fully understands a subject.
♦ Laid-Back:
Reyna is very laid-back. While she does have a temper, it’s not easy to make her angry and she usually ignores any insults to herself. She does not like stressing too much and is generally open-minded; she doesn’t believe in dwelling in the past as there’s nothing you can do about past mistakes while you can work to do better in the future. However, sometimes, she is too laid-back and can put off doing things she dislikes or despises until the last minute.

Perhaps because of her love of science and maths, or maybe she loves them because of this, Reyna has a rational and logical mind. Everything happens for a reason and because of her inquisitiveness, she likes to know what those reasons are. She never does anything without knowing the why’s and the for what’s. This is why she hates bullies, or stupid things like the superiority complex of many pure-bloods because to her, that behavior is not rational; there’s no reason to do them, there’s no positive outcome to them and most of the time, they act on flawed logic. This is also why she initially disliked magic but after realizing that magic has it’s own set of rules and logic, she embraced it like she embraced science.
♦ Loyal:
Reyna is extremely loyal to people she’s close to, especially her family and friends. She is fiercely protective of her precious people and if anyone harms them, she retaliates with prejudice. She supports them as much as she could and would do anything to protect them. To her, one of the worst things people could do was to betray their friends and relatives and she considers and treats traitors and backstabbers like scum.
♦ Manipulative:
Reyna can also be manipulative when the situation calls for it. She is very good at lying and can make convincing ones up on the spot; she uses this combined with her perceptiveness and skill at reading body language to get out trouble. She doesn't do this out maliciousness and never does it when other people could get hurt as a result.

Because she’s spent so much time reading and solving puzzles as a child, Reyna has become very good at noticing small changes and details, especially in people’s behaviour, and is very good at recognizing patterns and interpreting them.

CHILDHOOD:
Reyna was born the daughter of Jonathan Whyte and Evelyn Jacobs-Whyte during winter. She was raised in muggle London due to her mother’s long-term auror assignment there and to stay close to her paternal grandparents but travelled to the magical community often because of her father’s job and to visit her maternal grandparents. Her parents did not want her isolated from the muggle world she lived in or the magical world that she was born into and so Reyna attended a muggle school as a child while her parents took care of whatever magical education she needed at home. Because of this, Reyna grew up loving muggle science and technology as well as magical studies and theories. This delighted her family, especially her grandparents, who took every opportunity to gift her with books and puzzles, which Reyna adored.
Family was important in the their household and Jonathan and Evelyn believed that every child had to experience the outdoors so they often went out on picnics in the park and spent a lot of time outdoors, which helped develop Reyna's love of nature. They also visited Jonathan and Evelyn's sibling and their children - Reyna's cousins - occasionally but most of the time, Reyna was used to being the only child in the house and being doted on by her parents.
While at school, she became best friends with her classmate, a muggle boy named Tony. Because of his small size and timid nature, he was bullied frequently and Reyna decided that as his best friend, defending him was her duty, and got into trouble multiple times because of the fights she caused. However, that didn’t stop the bullying; when they were nine, some older students took advantage of Reyna’s absence and beat up Tony and tore up his books. After coming back and noticing Tony’s bruises and tears, a furious Reyna caused a massive fight and was suspended from school. Seething at the injustice, she ranted about the unfairness to her parents who disapproved of her use of violence even though they sympathized and told her that causing fights was against the rules and other than complain to teachers, there was nothing that could be done against the bullying. Frustrated, Reyna said that the rules were unfair and that she would change them. Her father jokingly told her that only the Prime Minister could change the rules and Reyna said that she would become the Prime Minister and do so. Amused, her mother told her that she couldn’t become the Prime Minister because she was a witch, she could only become the Minister for Magic and that took a lot of hard work and determination. Even though this was said as a joke, Reyna took the words to heart.
SCHOOL YEARS:
♦ First Year:
Reyna’s first year at Hogwarts had a shaky start. She’d made friends with Ivar, Glynn and Arnie on her way to the school where she’d been sorted into Slytherin. She got into an argument with her housemate and fellow first-year, Vitomir Nicoli, and ended up losing points on her first night; she did apologise to him later and formed a truce. The rest of the year was alright, other than the argument she had during her first History of Magic lesson with Tiernan Yaxley and other students and her frequent mishaps during Potions. She joined the quidditch team as a reserve beater as well as the Fencing club, became friends with her fellow teammates Oliver and Raymond, and helped Richard (she hoped) with his problem regarding his family. She did however explore the castle with Tiernan, Vitomir, Oliver, Ivar, Glynn and Arnie, before getting ambushed by Peeves. Reyna swore to get back at the poltergeist.
♦ Second Year:
The summer before her second year, Rey's family found that her irritating cousin Peter had magic, to her dismay and she had to spend most of her time trying to get him acquainted with the magical world, leading to her having a long summer, only barely salvaged by the birth of her younger sister. Her second year didn't start better either; at the platform, while meeting up with her friends, they unintentionally crowding Glynn and causing him to panick and bolt. She tried to put this out of her mind but his unusual behaviour worried her. Rey continued to go to Quidditch practice as well as the fencing club along with Tiernan, and joined the Dueling club, although she didn't actually have the chance to duel as she was new. Later in the year, after a study session with Ivar, Rey decided to try and explore the Forbidden Forest with Ivar, Glynn, Oliver, Vito and Arnie; Tiernan declined to join. It ended in a disaster; Glynn wandered off and when they chased after him, they found him trying to get eaten by an acromantula. They tried to fend it off on their own before Professor Hill found and helped them before taking them back to the castle in shame, giving them detention for their stupid stunt. Rey spent the rest of the year in a flunk, since she considered it her fault for being so irresponsible and almost causing her friends get it killed, especially Glynn. She avoided her friends in shame and after she got back home, she vowed to be more responsible and to become a better friend.
♦ Third Year:
When she came back from Hogwarts, Rey got a massive chewing out from her parents and got grounded for the rest of the summer to her dismay, but she didn't say anything because she believed she had it coming. She did manage to gather enough courage to send her friends during this time despite her fear that they'd hate her after what happened in the forest, but thankfully, most of them replied back, except Ivar and Glynn. By the time she got back to Hogwarts for her third year, it was clear that Ivar was giving her the cold shoulder and Glynn skirted around the topic of what happened to him and avoided it completely, much to her frustration, but thankfully, everyone else treated her somewhat the same. A couple of months into the year, Rey had met up with Oliver and he confessed about his kiss with Arnie during the summer trip they'd had with Ivar and his sudden feelings for their friend, asking for help. Figuring that his feeling might have come out because of his kiss, Rey asked Oliver to kiss her to see if that helped him figure things out. It seemed to have some effect, (even though Oliver sounded unsure) but it left Rey with an unsettling feeling in her stomach and caused her to blush more whenever she saw her best friend. Throughout the rest of the year, Rey'd realised to her regret that she might have taken too many classes for her to handle as she was forced to do more work than she'd have liked to keep up her grades. There was a great shake-up mid-way during the Quidditch season when Tristan, her captain, suddenly quit the team following rumours of him being a werewolf, forcing Leon to take over the leadership and and her to substitute for him for the rest of the season. Thankfully, she didn't do bad for her first official games, she'd even managed to get a few successful hits in. And finally, near the end of the year, Rey attempted to apologise to Ivar for what she did last year, feeling guilty, which he accepted and they agreed to move on, much to her relief.

CHILDHOOD:
Peter Whyte was born in London on a particularly chilly autumn. His father was a pilot and his mother a flight attendant who fell in love and got married on the job. While he was never left alone during his first years, when he got older, both his parents were regularly absent because of their jobs and couldn't quit because they loved it too much. As such, he often stayed with his paternal grandparents and sometimes with his Uncle Jon's family. While they visited often, Peter was the child who stayed with his grandparents the most and as such they spoiled him to their heart's content, especially when his parents were away for work; he was often given sweets and was given full reign of his grandparents' bookstore.
When his younger sister Elizabeth was born, Peter was dismayed because for once, other than when his cousin Reyna visited, his parents' and grandparents' attention wasn't on him and he resented his sister, refusing to play with her and often stealing her toys and sweets and occasionally pushing her, to his family's despair. He was scolded often, which caused his resentment to grow even more because to him, his family always favoured little Liz over him, which to him felt like a betrayal.
As he grew older, his attitude did not get better, instead, it grew steadily worse to the point where their house was often filled with shouting matches between the two siblings. This behaviour wasn't reserved for sister and he often got into trouble at school where his abrasiveness made him a target for angry children and Peter's stubbornness only exacerbated this. In time, because he hated fighting and getting beaten up, Peter learned how to talk skilfully to avoid confrontations by instead embarrassing his fellow students and humiliating them with his words with all the vicious cruelty of an 8-year old boy and by reducing many children to tears, they eventually learned to never provoke him. He gleefully used this skill on his sister who usually never stood for her brother's unfairness but even she couldn't help but break down sometimes and Peter never felt guilty, only satisfied because in his mind, she deserved it. Their grandparents never knew what to do with him and they often scolded him and punished him but they were too soft-hearted to do anything harsh and Peter never learnt his lesson.
During their fights, both Peter and Liz got very agitated which often lead to them performing accidental magic, broken frames and vases and affecting the power i the house. But because they were often rambunctious and because their house was old, their grandparents' thought nothing of it; they've never personally witnessed the fighting because while they heard it, they were too slow in their old age to reach the two children in time to see the actual fights. They already had some experience with accidental magic because of their wizard son Jonathan but they never expected another wizard or witch to appear in their family, especially from the children of their muggle son so they received quite a shock when Peter's Hogwarts letter arrived. His uncle's family kept the existence of magic a secret from them so at first he didn't believe it despite his grandparents' insistence; it went against his every beliefs and strangeness never sat well with him; but after being shown irrevocable proof of magic, he grudgingly accepted the fact that he was magical and oddl.
SCHOOL YEARS:
■ First Year: Peter's first year at Hogwarts did not go as planned. It was a disaster from the start: his attempt to be polite and make acquaintances was doomed from the start when the girls he tried to speak to turned out to be obnoxious idiots and later he was pushed into the lake that some dead person thought was a good idea to build a school next to and he spent the rest of the night soaked to the bone and humiliated. He had his doubts about the feasibility of teaching students in a draughty, dusty castle but Hogwarts castle turned out to be better than expected. The classes were easy and mostly alright, other some over enthusiastic buffoons eager to make themselves teachers' pets and fortunately, he managed to avoid most other first years, including the four harpies he'd met at Diagon Alley while shopping for supplies. However, the worst incident occurred when he first join the music club they had. Some blind cripple didn't have the brains to not stand in the middle of the way and almost caused Peter to drop his clarinet. When he tried to berate the boy, people practically climbed over each other trying to defend him; they even threatened to ban him, just because he refused to treat the arse like a special snowflake! Suffice to say, he was forced to grit his teeth and apologise and kept his head down throughout the rest of the year. Peter dearly hoped his next year would go better but he doubted it.

CHILDHOOD:
Lucinda was born in spring to Eli and Moira Jacobs. The family had opted for a home birth and with Eli's sister Meredith acting as a midwife, Lucy was born safely. At first, both Eli and Moira (who at that time worked in the Ministry) tried to continued to work after taking a break to care for Lucy in her infancy but after the stressful birth of Daniel the next year, Moira decided to quit her job to recover and to take care of her kids.
Lucy and Daniel grew up together in the Jacobs Manor, Eli's childhood home, with their paternal grandparents and mother taking care of them while Eli worked but they spent plenty of time together after he came home and during weekends. They were both homeschooled by their mother and grandfather in the magical world but they attended the local muggle school. At school however, Daniel missed classes regularly because he was often sick and was teased for this and his thin stature by other students and the teachers, even the principal, looked away and even berated him themselves. Lucy was furious because of the unfairness and the uselessness of the teachers in regards to her brother and grew a disregard for authority because of this; the only adult figures she respected were her family members. She herself had no trouble at school other than her general laziness; she had friends and her grades were okay.
At home, the two siblings were practically inseparable. Daniel had a weak immune system and got sick very easily; because of this and Lucy's disdain for getting dirty, the two spent a lot of time together playing games and listening to old Auror stories from their grandparents. They were both taught to sew and knit by their grandmother; they both enjoyed it and Lucy took to it like a duck to water. She liked how relaxing it was and Lucy loved making scarves and sweaters for her family, and eventually she started to sew her own clothes. They didn't spend all their time inside though; they went with their grandfather on walks and during the summer both children enjoyed swimming in the nearby pond; when their cousin Reyna visited during the summer, they included her in their activities.
It wasn't all happy though; when Lucy was 10, Daniel suffered from a severe case of Dragon Pox. It wasn't the first time he got sick but it was the worst condition they'd ever seen him, which terrified Lucy because her younger brother nearly died before he he got better. She was already protective her brother but that incident caused her to become even more protective. When her Hogwarts letter came, everyone was happy especially Lucy, but it was dulled by her worry; who would protect her brother when she wasn't there?

Lucy's first year was mostly uneventful. She'd met four great girls, Minako, Candace, Alana and Kimberly at Madam Malkin's earlier in the summer (unfortunately, while Peter was accompanying her) and she'd befriended Alec and his sister Sera on the train platform. After managing to push Peter into the lake, to her great satisfaction, Lucy was sorted into Gryffindor and befriended her housemates Reuben, Desmond, her roommate Merc, and fellow first years Garnet and Deaus. However, she was torn about her classes; there were some that she enjoyed, like Charms and Astronomy, and some that she despised and found boring, like Transfiguration and History of Magic. She missed her brother and slept through some classes, but overall, she found Hogwarts to be great.

Lucy was overjoyed to be reunited with her brother again during the summer and tried to spend as much time with him as possible to make up for the past year. She also kept in contact through letters with her friends from Hogwarts, especially Alc, and even managed to sneak out to have ice cream with him. Daniel likes to be helpful and hates feeling like he's a burden. He knows that he might not contribute much as he doesn't consider himself smart, or interesting, among other things so he likes feeling like he's contributing to a relationship whether its friendship or with an acquaintance. He's willing to go out of his way to helpful, sometimes to his detriment.

CHILDHOOD:
Daniel was born during the summer to Eli and Moira Jacobs. Moira gave birth to him at St Mungo's rather than having a home birth like she did with his older sister Lucinda by the advice of Eli's sister Meredith, a healer whose worries turned out to be justified. Daniel's birth was a difficult one and Moira had to quit her job to recover and take care of both him and Lucy at home while Eli worked to support them.
Lucy and Daniel grew up together in the Jacobs Manor, Eli's childhood home, with their paternal grandparents and mother taking care of them while Eli worked but they spent plenty of time together after he came home and during weekends. They were both homeschooled by their mother and grandfather in the magical world but they attended the local muggle school. However, Daniel had a very weak immune system and would get sick and miss class often, causing him to work really hard to maintain good grades. Unfortunately, this, couple with his small stature, caused him to be teased and bullied often act school while teachers usually turned a blind eye to, to his sister Lucy's great ire. She frequently got in trouble for starting fights defending him, which only made Daniel more uncomfortable as he didn't want to be the reason she got in trouble and he already suffered from enough attention.
Because of his weak disposition, Daniel was always watched over by his family and was told to be careful with what he was doing, what he was eating, etc. This, coupled with Lucy's dislike of dirt meant that they didn't go out much or do any strenuous activity, but that didn't mean never. They were inseparable and took walks with their grandfather and swum in the pond during the summer (mostly Lucy); Daniel particularly enjoyed tending to the garden with his grandfather. Inside, they played together, listened to their grandparents tell them cool stories from their auror days, and even learned to knit. Occasionally, they were visited by their relatives, whose company Daniel always enjoyed.
However, not everything was well; Daniel still got sick frequently, and when he was 8, he suffered from a severe case of Dragon Pox and nearly died, leaving him with a few scars and a more protective family, almost too protective. When Lucy left for Hogwarts, not only did he miss her greatly but most of his family's attention was concentrated on him now, which he found a little smothering; and to top it off, the bullies at school grew bolder without Lucy to protect him. He tried not to show how miserable he was, not wanting to worry her, but Daniel longed for the day he'd go to Hogwarts as well.
