Wil and Nasir usually did something with their hair every year for AFW (ashdown fashion week). This year the topic of flower crowns or just flowers in their hair had come up. That was why, at the moment, the young man was walking through the door of pocket full of posies to see if he could find what he was looking for. Or maybe flower suggestions. He had, in all honesty, decided on this shop because of the fact he saw the owner every so often at Darlene's (but who didn't get seen at Darlene's?). The smell of flowers was strong and it immediately put him at ease much the same way that smelling fresh herbs did. For the moment Nasir's attention was drawn to a collection of flowers near the front part of the store. They were brightly colored and looked great.

Leslie didn't even know it was AFW and probably wouldn't be too up in arms about it if it were pointed out. The kid didn't have much fashion sense aside from comfortable nerdy fashion. But he had his thick hair up in a bun today that was messy and a few chunks fell around his face. Currently he was behind the counter, Aleksy off on a lunch break. When someone walked into the shop, Leslie perked up and green eyes settled upon the new person who had entered. Pulling his light cardigan tighter to him, the teen came out from behind the counter to greet this new guy. "Hello." Leslie's voice was quiet and he prayed the other could hear him. "Welcome to Pocket Full of Posies. I'm Leslie... How can I help you today?" The boy had an awkward smile on his lips and a worried knit to his brow at the same time. It was awkward and he could be read as uncomfortable. It wasn't always the case. He was slowly getting used to greeting people, talking to them first and what not.

Nasir had that air about him that was just calm and nice and, really, he just seemed like that kind of easy going guy. Especially with his hair pinned up and back out of the way with cat ear barrettes today on either side of his head with regular ones in between them. He turned on his foot, a little surprised because he had gotten distracted by the flowers, and scratched at the back of his head a moment. "Hi, Leslie," a wide, warm smile, "I'm actually looking for some flower crowns. I think I remember that this shop has made them before ... ?" He chuckled, a little at himself. "Or just flowers that could be put into hair." Nasir definitely twisted a lock of his own wavy hair around a finger to illustrate.

Maybe Leslie could actually relax with this guy. The air about him made Leslie smile wider, more genuine before laughing and nodding. "I think we do have some that I can weave for you. Were.. you wanting any specific colors or sizes?" He motioned the other to follow him, showing him a vase full of daisies and even some posies. "These are pretty standard and common for them... I see them on pintrest a lot, anyway." He flushed as he said that and then shook his head. "I can also try it with roses, carnations, and probably even sunflowers if you want them with big flowers. ....Or if you want to do them yourselves. You could throw some baby's breath in there and make a really pretty flower crown.. Buy a mix of flowers and do it.."

"Um, something small for my hair? I have a friend that wants to put some into my hair," Nasir gave Leslie a somewhat shy, amused smile as he admitted that and followed him. "... but I probably should have you weave one for Wil. He's blond, if that matters. Really curly hair." He stopped and looked at the posies and daisies, his fingers resting on the vase and not touching the flowers. He did not want to ruin them. "I would think baby's breath would be really nice. Maybe a good mix?" Nasir was curling a finger into his hair again, looking towards Leslie. "Really, if you've got any suggestions, that would be great."

Leslie nodded a little and inspected the other guy's head shape and the color of his hair. Something small and that goes with his color. The teenager looked really serious as he listened and looked at the vases of flowers before grabbing some daisies and baby's breath, showing him how the two looked together. "I rather.. like this combination if it's in a crown. It'll be light weight so it won't... bog you down or make you feel like you're wearing a lot of weight, obviously.." He scratched the side of his neck nervously before biting down on his lip. "Daisies will also go with blond hair. Since they're white.. they'll stand out."

"Those look good!" Nasir stepped forward, letting his fingers brush against the leafy parts of the baby's breath and not the petals themselves. "... and if it's light weight ..." He looked to Leslie, head tilting. "Do you think ... is there a way to make sure it's fairly secure when it's made into a crown? Wil has a habit of taking naps and I don't want it to fall off of him easily." Peppermint Coffee worst person ever here, not even sure how i did not see this as quoted q ____ q i am so sorry

"You can use bobby pins to secure it to your head? If... you're wearing a wig and a wig cap you can attach it to the wig cap. Otherwise just use your actual hair. I mean.. at least that's what I would do." His cheeks colored a little more and licked his lips. It wasn't like he spent time or anything making flower crowns in his spare time. That would be a lame way to spend Saturdays in the spring. "So is... this all you need? Do you know how to make a crown?"
