Cor Caroli had done some hard reflection recently, and he wasn't entirely sure that he liked what he saw. In the wake of all the serious events that had gone down in the Rift invasion, things he originally considered fun had lost their appeal. Gone was the Cor Caroli who sought one-night stands and parties, replaced by some guy who sat in his room a lot and... studied? It was really weird and he knew it. Maybe he was just experiencing a temporary low point and he'd be back to his usual cheerful self, but some part of him doubted that that was the case. He had seen too much to just go back to living it up. That was part of the reason he was out patrolling today; it had begun to feel right when everything else felt wrong. It wasn't always much, but it was something. Right now, he was lurking in an alley, waiting for anyone at all to come along. He wasn't sure he'd be able to do much if a Negaverse agent showed up, but it would be something.

Elvira was out again, hunting for Ida, sure that if she just kept up looking…that this would be the night she actually found her. And if she didn’t find her tonight…well. Tomorrow was another day. And the next day, and the next day…She wouldn’t stop looking until she either found her senshi sister…or she found solid proof that something awful did happen…and that Ida really was gone….but she really couldn’t believe that was the case, not like Athene seemed to…there was no way that strong, smart…wonderful Ida would have gotten herself into trouble that was that bad…
At the very least…she had been making some friends due to the posters…and they seemed to be getting the word out about Ida being missing…even though some of the posters had been disappearing…that didn’t make her very happy, not very happy at all…but she wasn’t quite sure what to do about it.
Tonight she had a few freshly made posters and was planning on handing them out to whatever senshi or knights she might see, just to spread the word…and as she felt another super senshi nearby, she skipped on over, grinning from ear to ear. “Good evening! I’m Sailor Elvira! It’s nice to meet you!”
This was another senshi, so surely they were already predestined to be best friends.

A bright aura, the sound of skipping, and then a cheerful greeting caught Cor Caroli's attention. "Hmm? Oh, hi." The senshi in front of him was pretty cute, though he wondered how on earth she dealt with that hair. "Nice to meet you, Elvira. I'm Cor Caroli." He did not reach out to shake her hand, not out of deliberate coldness towards her but more out of wallowing in depression muck. "Patrolling today?" Even the terseness of his sentences felt very off to him. He knew that he would normally be chattier.

Elvira kept her hand outstretched, but finally took the hint and let it drop. “Sailor Cor Caroli? That’s a pretty neat name, it’s different than most I’ve heard…most people are just one word, but you have two, so clearly that must mean you’re twice as cool as everyone!” He seemed sad, or just like he wasn’t feeling well.
“Is something wrong? How come you’re just chilling out here in this dark and kind of scary place? Do you want to talk to someone about it? I’m good at listening…and I stole some cookies from my brother, I can give you some if you want, he bakes really good cookies.”
She kept a small hip pouch off of her when she transformed, and put it back on when she was Elvira, this way she could bring herself some snacks…or in this case, bring others some snacks. She drew out a good sized chocolate chip cookie and held it out to the other senshi. “Things made with love make everyone feel better, did you know that?”

Cor Caroli chuckled at Elvira's comment on his name. "Yeah, it is pretty unique like that, isn't it?" When Elvira asked what was going on with him, he pursed his lips and thought a moment before responding. "Well... nothing is 'wrong,' really. Just feeling a little down. Kind of unmotivated for everything except patrolling." He was pretty sure that his eyes lit up at the sight of the cookie. "You're definitely right. Things made with love are the best. But..." As tempting as it was to take the cookie, there was a counterpoint. "Your brother made the cookies, right? Then that love is for you. I wouldn't get the same effect from eating it." He paused, and then added, "Some people can put love into their cooking that applies to everyone. But it's kind of rare."
