Sadachbia was fishing tonight. Fishing for Negas, that is. She peered over the edge of a rooftop, checking with both her eyes and her aura sense for anything of note. Hopefully there wouldn't be any surprise interruptions, unlike the last time where that one kid showed up and scared off her target. That was a real pain in the a**. So far, she hadn't gotten even so much as a nibble, not even a faint flicker of a Chaos aura in the distance. Fishing was a sport for the patient; alas, sometimes Sadachbia could be less than patient. She was considering hopping to another area of the city; she was already pacing around the rooftop, as though that would give her any new information (moving a few feet to the left wouldn't tell her much that was new, even in terms of aura information). However, at one point she moved a bit to the right, and she did indeed feel a tingle. Finally, a bite! Somehow, though, she got the sense that she was pulling up something much larger than she expected. The aura was distant, so she couldn't be 100% sure, but it sure didn't give her the sense of a Lieutenant. Squaring off against a Captain could prove an interesting challenge, but she was left praying that wasn't a General floating around in the distance. Orangeish Sherbert Overly extended fishing metaphors GO

There were many things Cavansite liked. She liked things that sparkled. She liked things that tasted good, but what she liked, maybe most of all…was the look of fear on people’s faces when she was about to stab them with her little star spear. That was such a fun look, and boy oh boy was she overdue for one.
Honestly, a part of her was still reeling from that fight with that awful rainbow brite knight. She was such a little brat and one day. One day Cavansite was going to crush her, and add her stupid starseed to her collection. Maybe she’d make a nice hair bow and stick it there…yeah…
Oh well. Now wasn’t the time to think about that. Now was the time to focus straight ahead and go visit that poor waiting senshi. The poor little thing had been standing in the same place for goodness knows how long…and it was time that she went for a nice. Long. Visit.
With a leap, Cavansite landed behind the Egyptian themed senshi and tapped her on the shoulder with the point of her star shaped spear. “Hello there dearie. Nice night, isn’t it?”
Her grin was that of a cat, eyeing a plump little mouse.

Despite herself, Sadachbia definitely gasped when that bigger-than-usual aura came down RIGHT next to her and then something TAPPED her. She spun around, her fists reflexively raised. In other circumstances, she might have commented on how weird that weapon was (was it a spear? a staff? whatever it was, it sure was girly looking), but instead her eyes went to the medals pinned near the Captain's chest. This Captain had Done Things to merit some shiny badges. Of course, some expertise in the ways of the Negaverse was implied by the mere concept of a promotion to Captain, but this one had medals. She had done things to earn special recognition. Maybe if it were just a Lieutenant she was playing with, she might have returned the banter. But this was a Captain with a potentially deadly weapon. She needed to act quickly. Sadachbia raised her hands up, mumbled "Sadachbian Building Blocks," and quickly chucked the bricks that manifested at her opponent. Quote: Sailor Scout Attack: Sadachbian Building Blocks! Raising her hands up like she's carrying something, Sadachbia calls out the attack name and summons two standard-sized bricks that drop into her hands. These bricks can be thrown at the enemy, though they're a bit lighter than normal bricks and so they won't really break anything if they hit someone (though it'll probably still hurt). The bricks crumble to dust upon contact with a target or the ground. Sadachbia cannot summon more bricks until she has used her current two or their time limit has expired (if not used, they'll disappear after 20 seconds). This attack can be used 3 times per battle for a total of 6 bricks.

Ah. How she loved the sound of surprise. The gasp of shock and the way the senshi’s eyes traveled at once to her shiny medals and other treasures. “You like these, hm? You have a good eye. These are some of the medals I’ve earned from stealing starseeds…as well as some trinkets that I’ve taken from some senshi and a few knights…”
Cavansite tapped her chin thoughtfully. “You know, I haven’t yet taken a senshi’s starseed…perhaps I’ll do that tonight. Care to volunteer? I bet yours would be stunning, and I promise you I’ll display it proudly, just like I do with the others I’ve taken.”
The captain tapped the starseed that was affixed to the bow on her chest and grinned, though that grin slid off as suddenly…a brick was sailing at her face. “What the hell? You got me monologuing!” One of the bricks hit her square in the face, though Cavansite managed to sidestep the other. She was quite glad that the damn brick had dissolved after hitting her…she would have hated it to get her toes too…
Her face hurt enough. But…it was time to attack back. She lunged, holding her spear out, trying to grin through the throbbing of her cute little nose.

If Sadachbia had the time, she would have rejoiced at hitting the Captain square in the face with her brick. That had to have been the first time she had landed such a direct hit. Unfortunately, now the Captain was coming at her with her pointy stick (it had to be pointy, since the Captain appeared to be holding it to stab, not to whack), and she had to make a decision fast. She could get the hell out of the way, or she could try to weave past the pointy stick and land a punch on the Captain. For once, Sadachbia's self-preservation instincts beat out her desire to punch out someone who deserved it. She hopped back, hoping to get some distance so that she could launch another set of bricks and get out of there. She doubted that the Captain would let her have it that easy, though.

Cavansite either saw panic or imagined that she saw panic in the eyes of the senshi, and that made her very happy indeed. Perfect. She had the poor girl on the run, and up on a rooftop, there were only so many places one could run to. “You know dear. The blessing of being able to reach a rooftop is the fact that only powered individuals really stand a chance of coming up to meet you, though the curse of it is that you hardly have anywhere to run to. Now, you can hardly back up more than another ten feet, so why don’t you just be a good girl and give up. I’ll make it quick if that’s what you’re afraid of. Pain is…painful, I will admit, but if I just take your starseed…”
The captain gave an over dramatic shrug and continued walking towards Sadachiba, spear still held out.
“How about, you give up, and you can even pick where I display it! Won’t that be fun? Maybe I can take one of your pretty little bows and put it in my hair, see, just like this one. This was from a cosmos knight, and this,” She flashed the starseed affixed to one of her earrings. “This was from a cute little person, though the fun of getting this one was seeing a little senshi having a nervous breakdown when I killed in front of him. Oh it was so much fun. I do like having fun. Why don't you scream for me, little senshi.”
She continued to walk, seeming almost lazy, as though she had all the time in the world. Without any indication of what she was going to do however, the spear left her hand, flying right at the senshi.
Sneak attacks were so fun.

This wacky Captain somehow made Bond Villain-style monologues very, very intimidating (the presence of an actual weapon probably helped). Ten feet is all I need, Sadachbia thought, though the paralysis of instinctual fear kept her from voicing the retort. I'm not giving you anything as a trophy, you crazy b***h! Big words from a girl whose voice remained caught in her throat. She tried to back up just that little bit more and thought she would succeed until the Captain's spear suddenly began to hurtle towards her. Yelping out of pure reflex, Sadachbia made a dive down, trying to go under the spear (it seemed like her best bet; the other options appeared to be taking a fall that she couldn't land properly from or having the spear go through her). As she went down, the spear grazed her shoulder and part of her back, and the resulting noise of pain was a bizarre hybrid between a growl, a shriek, and a roar. She could feel the blood trickling already, staining her white bodice a vivid red. "b***h!" she hissed, trying to fight through the pain. She attempted a low sweeping kick at the Captain's legs, hoping to knock her down and leave her weaponless long enough for an escape.

It was close enough to a scream to bring a grin to the Captain’s lips. “That’s right, you can’t escape me—argh!” The kick was unexpected and Cavansite stumbled backwards, letting her arms flail like a windmill and only just managing to regain her balance. Her spear though, the contact with Sadachbia hadn’t been enough of a deterrent to slow it down and it flew right off of the rooftop, because ten feet wasn’t enough space for anything.
A snarl left Cavansite’s lips and she held out her hand, trying to summon the spear back. That would take time though. Time and focus she wasn’t quite sure that she had at the moment, but damn if she wasn’t going to try.
“I’ll kill you, you goddamn senshi.”

It looked like the plan worked; in any other circumstances Sadachbia might have cracked a smirk at that flailing. There was no time for that, though. She had received a welcome reprieve from attack as the spear flew off the edge of the building. That had to be the best cue to get the hell out of dodge ever. Taking advantage of the weapon-summoning delay, she righted herself and hopped off the roof; landing well enough for her to charge off quickly. Even as a civilian bully-thrasher, she knew when to beat a hasty retreat. Maybe someday, she could give that Captain some good payback.

The spear came back to Cavansite’s hand a moment too late. Damnit. Well…no matter. She’d find the senshi again one day, and it would end much, much differently. She was quite sure about that.
With a smirk, the Captain hopped lightly off the building and went off in search of something or someone else to terrorize.
The night was still young, after all.
