The Past: Backstory: Aurianna was the child of a Grimm/Fallen, and a Neko. Her parents loved her, greatly, and raised her to be a warm hearted, loving soul as well. They also taught her to be trusting, and open minded. Once she was 5, they sent her to Asphodel. They had both gone to school there, and wanted her to get the same experiences they had gotten. They felt it would make sure she was open minded about other races, and help her to understand other cultures.
She boarded there, and made a lot of friends. She found herself 'adopting' other Freshlings, and was very prone to mothering them... To a point where sometimes she'd forget to do her homework, or to take care of herself in her need to help the others. She just gave and gave of herself to them, her heart an open door of love. Her teachers had to interfere more then once, to force her focus on herself, and to do her homework. Still, by the time she was a Junior, she had a small crowd of adopted siblings and freshlings she mothered. She had also figured out that she wanted to work for Asphodel Gardens as a caretaker, once she was an adult.
Her first losses came when she was 16. A month after her birthday, her parents were murdered by some one who hated mixing of races. Aurianna was broken for months. She'd never experienced prejudice like that, so she hadn't expected anything to ever happen. In her mind, it was made worse by the fact that her parents had recently gotten a pair of stones to imbue, and had started the process... But never got to wake them. When Auri went home, to sort through their belongings and close up the family home until she was ready to decide what to do with it, she couldn't find the stones. She didn't know if they'd been stolen by some one, or if that horrible stranger had managed to get them and destroy them. She reported it to the police, and they filed it alongside the report about the murder.
Eventually, the murderer was caught and punished, but they denied knowledge of the stones, and no evidence one way or the other was EVER found. She vowed to search for them, for as long as she lived, in the hopes of bringing her siblings home.
She graduated from Asphodel with good enough grades to get into Asterion Academy. It was there that she met her first boyfriend. His name was Arcturus Lucifus ((OOC another OC of mine, that I intend to quest for later.)). He seemed so wonderful... He was always a gentleman to her, and treated her with kindness. He seemed to respect her boundaries, and desire to take things slow. He would take her on many lovely dates, praise her beauty and kindness, and acted as if he respected her intelligence. Finally, one night she brought him home to her dorm room. Her roommate had gone home to their family for the weekend, so Auri had it ALL to herself. She gave herself to him, body and heart... And the next day, he gave her a terrible life lesson. She woke to find him gone, with a note left on her bed saying, basically, 'It's been fun, and now that I've gotten what I want, have a nice life!' She was stunned. Once again, she learned a lesson about trust... Don't give all of your heart, or it might well be torn into pieces.
She refused to date anyone again, after that, through the rest of her time at Asterion. She has now graduated, and is applying to work at Asphodel Gardens, as a caretaker for the littlest children. She is in the process of selling her childhood home, as it has too many painful memories for her to want to live there again. She is also selling off those possessions of her parents that she can't use for herself. She hopes that, if she does not get the position, she will be able to use the funds to start a Daycare in one of the big Cities.
Feelings About the Races: As a hybrid, she doesn't exactly identify with one race in particular. She has no issues with any one race. Her Issues are with racists instead.
The Good, The Bad, and the Side Stuff: Basic Personality: Warm hearted, and loving, Aurianna is very much a mother-figure type. She adores having people around to love and protect. She will do almost anything to protect a child. She hopes, someday, to have children of her own, but for now, she wants to care for the innocents who are in need of a mother's love.
Key Traits:
*Postive: Loving: She is not afraid to love some one, unconditionally. She gives her caring freely to children and small animals, and once she makes friends with some one, she does the same for them. Generous: She will happily give the shirt off her back to clothe some one in need. Her generosity and kindness has occasionally led her to being taken advantage of, but she refuses to let that harden her heart. Protective: She will defend the innocent, the helpless, and those she cares about with everything she is and has. Do not harm those she loves, or she will come down on you like a ton of bricks... Bricks with a grudge. *Negative: Grudge Bearer: She does not give up a grudge easily. Harm her, and it will take an incredible amount of effort to get her to forgive you. The b*****d who killed her parents? She'd happily hang that person up by the metaphorical balls from a bridge. Arcturus? She will hate him for his willingness to hurt others for his pleasure for ever. Gullible: She is easy to gull, do to her kindness and generosity. She wants to help people, and to trust that they aren't going to use her kindness. Heart-Locked: Despite being incredibly loving, her heart is locked away from the world, when it comes to loving another as a life-partner. She does not want to let another person inside, for fear they will hurt her again.
Likes: Children, Chocolate, Vespercats Dislikes: People who hate children, Getting Rained on, Cauliflower
Hobbies: Sewing: To save money on clothes, Auri has taught herself how to sew. She discovered she actually LIKES doing it, so she makes almost all of her own clothing now. Baking: She learned to cook because everyone should know how to do that. She learned to bake because CAKE. Dancing: Aurianna loves to dance. She loves the energy, the feeling of moving with the music. She doesn't consider herself good at doing it, but she would say it feels good to do!

See Me As I Am! RP Prompt Reply - Prompt Number Six Aurianna was in Asphodel City, examining apartments and pondering if she wanted to move here. It was that, or one down by Asphodel Gardens. Her final decision would come once she knew if she'd gotten the job. She smiled a little, hopefully. She knew she could do it, and that she was a GOOD candidate. She had the skills, and was good with children... And she loved them.
As she was thinking this, she glanced up at the sign of the business she was passing. Her eyes darkened as she realized it was an Alchemist's, one who was a seller of Soul Stones. Every time she saw one of these shops, all she could think of was her missing siblings. Were they alive? Had their stones ever been awoken? She didn't know, and she had no way to know if she could ever find out. She stared at the ones on display in the window, her fingers touching the glass for a moment.
One of the shop staff noticed her, and gestured, clearly thinking she was a customer and inviting her in. Auri flushed under her fur, then stepped back, and shook her head, apologetically. She turned, and headed for the portal she was taking to go home to her apartment. She needed not to get so lost in her past, it was distracting her... But how could she ever forget that?
