Yihad sat on the bench as hu waited for Kara to show up, just casually rocking hus feet back and forth as hu waited. During their speed date, Kara ended up having to leave early, but the two had agreed to meet up at a later date when she wasn't so busy anymore. Hu wanted to get to know Kara better, their conversations at the speed dating event getting hum interested in the demon. Maybe they could become friends?

Anyhow, hu was just waiting for them to show up, the two planning on going somewhere to eat and hang out for the time being. Why hu had agreed to go to a public place hu didn't know, but it didn't scare hum as much as when hu started out hus junior year. Maybe hu was finally beginning to grow up?

"Not too terribly long," Hu smiled at the demon from where hu was sitting, getting up and going over to her. Hu didn't even realize she was late, although now that hu looked at the time it was clear she was. Now the question was where were they going to go? Hu never really got out much, so hu didn't know of any good places to eat ", You don't seem like the type to just leave me hanging. So, do you have a favorite restaurant or hang out we could go to? I don't really have any I go to since going in public isn't my thing. I prefer to just read books in my dorm room to be honest."

"I don't like lots of people," hu admitted, shrinking up tight embarrassed as hu blushed. Perhaps a more laid back place would be better for them to hang out? Somewhere with a lot less people than a mall would? ", I'm always afraid I'll make a fool of myself is the thing... so the the mall isn't a good idea unless no one goes to the mall, which probably not since malls are usually packed with lots of people. Could we go to a less crowded place maybe?"

A little place? Isn't well known? Really good food? Sounded like a good place to try at the very least! Besides, what could go wrong with home cooked hamburgers? ", Sounds good to me. Doesn't seem like there would be a lot of people there, so I think I can handle it. I've been working on my people skills and making sure I warm up to being around more people. This place seems like just the spot for me to work on that more," one day hu would overcome hus fear of people around others and making a fool of humself, but today hu was just going to work up to that goal. One step at a time right?

Hu gave a nod ", walking would be good yes. You lead the way Kara," In all honesty Yihad had gone to the speed date to try and get out of hus shell more. Hu was alwa ys struggling to start initiating relationships, so hu thought the speed date would possibly work out somehow? It honestly didn't make much sense now, but at least hu was going back out with Kara. Hu honestly thought she could be a really good friend if they tried ", How have you been since we last talked? It has been a little bit after all. Surely something has happened. I mean... it is okay if nothing has," now hu was all of a suddenly blushing.

"Busy yeah. I have been too. Getting ready to become a Senior as well," hu gave a nod to what she said, making eye contact. That was important. Kara really did seem like someone hu could become friends with ", Been working on my... well..." hu blushed quite a bit, but didn't look away. That was a big step for him ", On my shyness. It is about time I moved on and try to make friends. That is why I tried to get us to go out together. I... I wanted to become your friend."

Hu closed hus eyes and sighed, trying to calm humself down. This was really important to him, and hu knew that Kara was one of the people hu needed right now to make that happen ", After this meal... would you possibly like to be my friend? I don't really have any, but I want one."

Hus eyes opened wide when Kara hugged hum, standing there in complete shock. Hu hadn't expected that, or Kara saying they were already friends ", Fr-riends? We... we are?" A smile slowly came across hus lips, getting a fuzzy feeling from the thought of it ", Friends... Friends sounds so nice," Hu then gave her a hug back, happy for having Kara be hus friend. Even if the hug was uncomfortable for hum, hu didn't hate it. Hu actually quite enjoyed it ", We will graduate together, I promise."

Hu gave her a small squeeze, enjoying the way she tried to comfort hum ", I have been trying hard to not be such a loner. Thank you Kara, you have make it so much easier for me to get out into the world," hu then let go of Kara, smiling at her ", Now then, how about we continue to the place? I can't wait to talk with you more, my friend."
