☩ Vincent's Office ☩ Located on the second floor of the headquarter's is Vincent's office. It is well organized,with a few clean coffee cups sitting around, a coffee pot, liquor cabinet with glasses, and one coffee cup sitting on the desk. There were other cabinets and such filled with papers and books as well. Almost as if someone put everything in order only to never touch it again.

tab tab tab tab tab tab tab ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Sylvanus was rather pleased to see that Jayce followed him. Only because he was lost at that moment and really had no idea where he was going. Though, he wasn't about to ask him where the office was because that would be silly. It also didn't help that the other choose not to speak because that made this ten times more awkward. Sylvanus was at a loss and had no idea what to even say.
Behind them he heard loud noises coming back from the meeting room. Did a fight happen? because that would be something he'd love to see. It certainly would help his mood, but that probably wasn't the case. It just sounded like chairs being shoved aside. Well back to finding this office....Opening one of the doors he peered inside and frowned. Nope. Not it. Just dust. Moving on to the next he tried again. Not it.Why don't they just label all of these. Someone is going to get lost and die. How about this one? Nope. Not it either. Okay why have this huge place and not even use all the rooms. This was just unnecessary.
Before trying to go to the next floor, the girl who had slapped a band-aid on Jayce's face was now here. Somehow he had missed her footsteps in his search for the office. Luckily he had nothing to really to say to her because wow. She had questions. Also did she just raise her hand? That was actually adorable. "We'll burn that bridge when we get there. No idea. Sylvanus or Von, formalities are weird.As if i'd join anything for him. Yes. Wait- what is your job? Hopefully you never have to, but if you really want I can show you." He answered with a smile, ordering his responses the same as her questions. Honestly though? He hadn't though about if Vincent came back, regardless it would probably end in a fight. "Me and Jayce are pals now, no need to worry about another fight with us." He grinned and tried to put his arm around Jayce's shoulders but failed. The guy was really tall.
Now that those were answered Sylvanus moved past Eiri and motioned her to follow. She seemed to be better company than Jayce was being. So much gloom and brood. Well not really. He was just silent.
Moving onto the next floor Sylvanus proceeded to look through the many doors to find the office. Eventually he finally found it with dumb luck ,but through trail and error. Many trial and errors. Somehow It looked like what he expected it to. Musty and clean. "Ick why."He mumbled and moved over to one of the windows and opened it."There we go! The world is a better place now~"He said turning back to the two with a smile.

back off."◄  ¤¸¸.·´¯`·.¸.·>>--» «--<<·.¸¸·´¯`·.¸¸¤ "I can't tell if you just have a death wish, or if you really are this stupid." ¤¸¸.·´¯`·.¸.·>>--» «--<<·.¸¸·´¯`·.¸¸¤ For a few moments, Jayce simply followed behind Von, his gaze following him, and every once in a while drifting up to whatever door it was that he decided to open up next. At first, he wondered if he was maybe just curious about what sort of things might have gone on in them, but after watching him for a few moments, and noticing he barely took the time too actually look at what was in there, he realized he must be lost. Usually, he would make a comment on it, and depending on who it was, either simply try and direct them to what they were looking for, or he would tease them, but in the case of Sylvanus, he decided on staying silent..this time.
The silence however, was suddenly shattered when there was the sound of chairs being shoved to the side, the noise reaching them even despite the fact that they were at a decent distance from the meeting room. Jayce, of course, immediately knew what the sound was from, but he chose not to say anything as he watched Von seemingly perk up a bit. When there was the sound of loud footsteps followed by something hitting the wall behind them however, he flicked his gaze back, just in time to see Eiri running to catch up to them. He didn't even bother with a hello, as not only did they just see each other moments ago, but there also wasn't really any time for him to do so. Well, at least he could say he was definitely glad he didn't tell her to not follow them. It was much better to have the girl throw her questions at Von herself rather than him having his phone blown up by her texting them. With that he also would have been stuck trying to translate them because she probably would have made a million plus typos in trying to type quickly with all her excitement.
Despite the questions she asked and the possible answers the male might offer in return, Jayce almost couldn't hold back the laugh that threatened to escape him, especially so when she had raised her hand before she had launched into asking them. He honestly wondered how the other would handle it all, as he shifted his gaze between the two while they walked. When the guy seemed to barely miss a beat, and launched straight into answering, no real hesitation present in his voice until he reached the part about her job, he was honestly a bit surprised. Though perhaps he shouldn't have been as despite the chaos in the meeting room before he seemed able to keep track of everything that was going on, even if it did end up pissing him off in the end.  The contrast in the way the two behaved, was amusing to say the least. When Von said they were pals now, and attempted to put his arm around his shoulders, but failed, he couldn't quite help but smile, and when he gave up and moved for the stairs, he couldn't hold back the laugh anymore. It escaped him, the sound light in tone, and perhaps a little airy. It wasn't a mocking laugh or anything like the ones he'd been showing for the last several weeks, it was the closest he'd gotten to a more genuine laugh in quite a while.
"Eiri, I don't think there will be another fight between us no, at least not one for the same reason. That is if there ever is another physical fight to begin with. So as Von said, no, I think we are fine now. Also, don't worry too much, I'm not still hurt, you know I heal quickly, so even if he had injured me, I had three days to recover, and it's not like he had to go all out on me anyways. The guy is tough, and I wasn't exactly clear minded when we fought. I had a time limit, and I failed to beat him within it." It took him a moment to calm his laughing down, his words broken up every once in a while from it, but he managed to get the words out either way. As for when it came to her question of whether he was mad at her for seeing or not, honestly, he was glad she hadn't. He wasn't sure how he'd have felt if she had seem him fail. She was one of the very few people whose opinions of him he gave a s**t about."As for whether I am upset with you for missing the fight, you don't have to worry about that. I'd probably rather you not have to see me get my a** handed to me anyways. Heh." He said with a grin, and a quiet laugh as he followed Von the rest of the way up the stairs and through the hall on the second floor.
For a bit it was more of the same, open this door, peer inside, realize it was not the room he was looking for, close it and continue on. Although he wasn't sure still how he felt about the other, for some reason, he felt at least slightly more at ease right then. Even as they approached Vincent's office, and Von opened the door before moving into the room, he found he didn't even tense a little. He was aware of what they would find when they entered the room, as Jayce had not touched it since the day Vincent had left, and with how the other seemed to be, he had a feeling the tidy office wouldn't stay so clean and organized for long, but honestly, he wasn't sure he cared right then. It would be better than having to look at it every time he came in, left the way it was when the other left, thoughts on the other missing being forced back into his mind due to it. So when the male made a sound of disgust, moved for the window, and threw it open before turning back to them, he took one quick look over the room, before looking back to Von with a shrug and a slight smile.
"He tended to prefer things organized and clean. Just the way he was I suppose.." ¤¸¸.·´¯`·.¸.·>>--» «--<<·.¸¸·´¯`·.¸¸¤ "How many times do I have to tell you no for you to get it through your head?" ¤¸¸.·´¯`·.¸.·>>--» «--<<·.¸¸·´¯`·.¸¸¤ ►"If you do not turn back

Eiri gave her undivided attention to Sylvanus as he answered. Though she did end up with more questions, but not close to the amount she started with. She giggled when he tried and failed to put an arm around Jayce’s shoulders. She had always wanted to, but if she tried it would be an even worse outcome than Sylvanus’s attempt. Hell, she couldn’t even do that to Sylvanus with how much taller he was than her. Though most people were taller than her. So, it wasn’t anything new. Her giggles turned to quiet laughs, whenever Jayce started laughing. It was always nice when he laughed and it was something she hadn’t seen in a while. I’ll have to get him to laugh more, she thought.
“If you say so. And I know you heal quickly, but I wanted to make sure. After all you pretty much never lose. Though if it was a timed match I guess that’s more understandable. I’m pretty sure I would never win one,” she said, following them as they headed upstairs. Though she had no idea where they were going, but it looked like Sylvanus was looking for something. Not sure what. Half the rooms were empty or full of storage. She was about to ask when they arrived at their destination.
Oh, she thought when they walked into Vincent’s office. Though it would probably be Sylvanus’s office now. She had only been in here a handful of times, but it looked pretty much the same as it ever did. Just dustier. She took this opportunity to look around. There wasn’t much that was interesting; besides the fact that Vincent was an alcoholic if his liquor cabinet was anything to go by. I wonder how much alcohol is in this room alone, she thought. Shrugging she started looking around for more. It was something she could do to help focus. Though, that wasn’t going to keep her from talking. “I’m an alchemist. The only alchemist, actually. It’s been suggested I train someone before, but that didn’t end well. Anyway, I’m guessing this is going to be your office now?” She asked, as she pulled out a bottle that was stashed in the back of a drawer. She set if down on the desk and continued her searching. While she looked, she continued her questions. “So, if you didn’t join for your brother why did you? And do you not get along with him? I have siblings I don’t get along with. Also, it’s no rush on the powers thing. Like, I would like to know. In case there is anything I can make that could help. Or that you would need or just want.” She had pulled open most of the draws by now, and looked under the desk and stuff. There weren’t any more bottles though. She pouted for a moment. It was no fun if they didn’t hide s**t. One of her brothers had done that and it was so much fun to search through his house when they had an intervention. Oh well, she thought, going over to the desk chair and flopping down in it.
She slowly spun around in it. Trying to keep her gaze on both Jayce and Sylvanus. “But you always come by the lab later and deal with that. Jayce knows where it is and what to do if I’m not there. Which I don’t recommend going in if I’m not.“ She said, making vague hand gestures. Now that she was sitting still and not fiddling or searching through anything, her hands where moving all over the place. It was something she did, which is why she tried to focus on other things or else she risked hitting others.

If anything, he was more entertained by the fact that the guy was actually capable of laughing. Guess there was more to him than gloom and doom. He actually wanted to poke at him for it, but he didn't feel like getting sarcasm thrown at him. After all, he was still getting over the foul mood that female mini Eli put him in. Actually no, that gave Eli less credit than he deserved. Apple girl. There were go, Apple girl it was from now on. Though, he might refrain from calling her that if she cleaned up her act a little more. Or just redeemed herself in general.
"Haha, pshhh! Please Jared, I gave you that time limit so you'd actually stand a chance! As well as to keep me from taking that to far...but! Who cares about that now! He chucked, waving his hand around dismissively, at least until Eiri spoke. "Nahhh you'd do just fine~! Besides who could hurt someone as adorable as you! That's just a win by default right there." He chuckled once more. However, judging by her relationship with Jayce, he could only assume she was relatively close to him. That was something he hadn't really paid attention to back then until now. Anyway, if that ever happened Jayce probably wouldn't allow it. And now Eiri had another who wouldn't let that happen, for now at least. He honestly hopped to keep it that way for more reasons than one. The main reason being Jayce.

Sylvanus frowned at Jayce when he said that and glanced around the room,"awww, why'd you have to go and say that? Now im going to feel bad because I have the organization skills of an untrained monkey." He then stopped feeling bad the moment Eiri took the liberty to go about the room and scavenge around the room."Nope nevermind."
Her going about the room the way she did distracted him a bit. What was she looking for? "Oh? In that case you certainly are keeping your job.Though I will suggest the same and recommend finding someone who can handle-" he stopped and motioned to all of her, but he didn't mean it in a bad way, and continued, "and the job itself. Also I guess so? But I dont like working in just one room, there just isn't enough space." Oh, she was looking for more liquor. Vincent seemed to have a lot, probably held it better than Sylvanus could ever dream of. It was best that she did take that. "Let's just say I had certain interests in mind. As for Elsa? I had to deal with him and whatever the ******** he choose to be. And well.....it was not a fun time. But oooh! That is something that sounds like fun, I will have to show you some time." He smiled, liking the idea of getting cool stuff. Even if it wasn't cool it was still stuff. So he also downplayed the whole stalker thing, but they didn't need to know. At least until someone asked directly about it, then he would outright say it.
Wait was she upset that she couldn't find anymore? This girl was a trip. And now she was spinning the chair."Will do. Actually what even is your name?" Before he didn't get it because of reason. But now he probably should, even if he seemed to not care for them or just downright sucked with names. Either way it was best that he got it. He was also sure that Jayce said it at least once, but he wasn't really paying attention then.
Time for other things now, unless Eiri choose to stick around longer or had anymore questions, then he would answer them. But for now, he looked back over at Jayce and then searched around the room for anything recent. "Sooo, what was the last thing that was being done in lets say..." He trailed off as he searched through the cabinets and stuff. Wow he really was organized. "The past month or so."

He was well aware the other probably could have beat him, time limit or no, there really had been no need for him to say it. Though with time enough to study the other, if challenged again, who knows what would happen if Sylvanus tried for another time limit match. Jayce often based his fighting off of a visual and sometimes physical analysis of his opponent, meaning their movements, fighting style, expression through body language and otherwise. Personality was a good thing to keep in mind as well, especially for those who lean more towards stealth based combat. He doubted the other would challenge him again however, and he had no interest in challenging him either. If ever there was a time where he thought to do so, it would be more for training purposes than anything more than likely. When Eiri spoke however his attention shifted to her, and then straight back to Von when he responded to her. His words surprised him a bit, even if he knew the other had shown he had some kind of interest in her when they were back in the meeting room before. After a moment he slowly shifted his attention back to Eiri, a slight smile on his face as he responded to her.
"I see, well thank you for your concern Eiri, but I assure you I'm fine. As far as I'm aware anyways." Due to his inability to feel pain, other than with headaches, and occasionally through people who may know how to cause it in him, he often times didn't even realize he was injured in the first place, unless he saw it happen, or caught sight of the blood if there even was any present.
"I don't think it matters honestly. It's your office now, what you do with it is your business. Vincent isn't here anyways...not like he can complain, and I'm not going to complain either. Besides, seems like Eiri is already getting ahead of you on going through his things." He said, shaking his head a bit and laughing quietly when he watched her immediately start to dig through his cabinets and such. When she made a comment on being the alchemist for the gang, he glanced to Sylvanus then back to her, though when she said she was the only one he raised his eyebrows a bit. Well he supposed technically she was the only one who held that title, and was the only one who actively used her skills to further assist others in the gang, while most of his work was for personal use, reasons, or for Vincent and a select few people when the mood struck him. So in a way she was the gangs only alchemist. He wasn't just an alchemist anyways, he was into science related things in general honestly.
"Well, unfortunately, as she said, she tried and that didn't go well. So far I seem to be the only one who can handle working with her, and I already hold a position here.. I also have no interest in helping teach another person either. So far she's the only one I've had any interest in helping. ." He said, though he took a moment to think back over the whole mentor situation, and laughed a bit, shrugging. "Then again I do suppose there is a good chance we might be able to find someone who would work with her alright. The last person was, unfortunately not the most intelligent of people, and, at least from what I saw, seemed to be the sort who decided to go with alchemy because they thought it would be somewhat easy. Who goes into anything of a scientific based subject thinking it's going to be easy?" Shaking his head again he turned to look around the room, slowly, taking everything in one more time before it would inevitably turn into some kind of disaster area. It was already slowly being messed up, he wondered just how bad it would be in the end. He'd deal with it either way.
He didn't want to look at the room and think of Vincent every time. While he wasn't done looking for him, he also had some sense about him, and knew there was a high chance he never would find him. As much as it bothered him to think that the male may never return, he figured it was about time to start pushing the thoughts to the side, even if only a little. His thoughts were drifting however, flitting over a few random things as his gaze landed on a shelf of books that was pushed back in the corner of the room. He could hear the conversation going on between the two, but his focus wasn't fully on them right that moment.
Moving forward he stopped in front of the shelf and slowly reached up to pull one of the books from the shelf. It wasn't a normal reading book, it was one filled with reports and notes on possible things they were going to be investigating based off of official reports form other members of the gang, and from people on the outside of the gang that have offered up small tips on things to look at, or who have said things that Vincent thought would be a good idea to keep note of, just in case. This was the most recent one. Though he'd been over it a few times over the two weeks the other had been missing, he knew there was still a chance that he was missing something, or underestimating something. That wasn't the only reason he went to get the book however. He knew he'd have to, at some point, show Von what they had been doing before he came along, and so he figured he'd prepare ahead of time.
For a moment he stood there however, just staring at the cover, just barely catching Von's question on what Eiri's name was, before he flipped it open, eyes skimming over some of the words. Then there was a slight lull in the conversation and his focus on the book and his thoughts dimmed a bit, and just as Von was about to ask about the recent things being done in the gang, his gaze had shifted over to him. What timing.
"If you are looking for notes on, or documentation on this last month, there are a few files in the cabinet you're next to, and then there is this." He held the book up to show Sylvanus before he brought it back down, and shifted his gaze back down to the words on the page. "The files should be towards the front of the cabinet, they are dated, easy to find. Though those are more for expenses made, with simple notes on what the expenses were for since Vincent only needed enough to remind him what it was for not to tell him exactly what we were doing. The actual details are in this book, and as for everything else we have done beyond this month. The other books can tell you that. It looks like, though, the last note that was written in this book, was something about one of the civilians who live in this city.. Oh right..How did I forget about that."
"They had asked me, though not sure why they even thought I might give them details on a situation like this to be honest with you, if I knew anything about Vincent sending a fire elemental to another city. When I asked them why they would ask, I was told that they apparently had caught sight of someone there that was able to use fire, and they thought they might be involved with us. Apparently they thought this because of the city they were in, and well, they used fire. Not sure what they meant by that though. I was supposed to go back and speak to them again to try and get some more details, like the city name and all that but I never got the chance. There was another page here..but it's been torn out. I'm not sure what he had written there. Other than that, another recent thing is research being done on some old tomes we found, in another language or something. I was told to take them to the witch who lives over at the edge of the ruins here in lohrith, and that's when I had heard of the whole fire elemental in another city thing."

Eiri would slow down her spinning whenever Von or Jayce said something, but it was starting to make her dizzy. "I will consider teaching someone, if you can find someone that's not an idiot and doesn't need me to hold their hand through everything. I hold no responsibility for any injuries people get in my lab if they don't listen or just do something stupid, like inhale the smoke from the mustard gas compound. I was wearing a gas mask for a reason, but they were didn't listen." There were several people she had attempted to train and they all ended badly one way or another. Part of it was Eiri wasn't they best at giving full instructions, she got side tracked easily. Then there was the few that thought what she did was easy. There was a reason she had repainted the wall in chalkboard paint and had chemical formulas everywhere. She was going to have to invest in some actual boards she was running out of space. "For now, Jayce helps me when he can. He is best, always figuring out the stuff that has me stumped," she said giving Jayce a huge smile and spinning faster before stopping all together.
She was a little surprised by him asking for her name, just because he seemed to have so much trouble with them. "You can call me Eiri, everyone does. Or I guess everyone that knows my name. I'm don't if everyone here knows my name. I know I don't know all of theirs, but why waste memory space, when I have more important things to remember..." Her voice trailed off towards the end. She got the feeling she was forgetting something, but couldn't pinpoint what it might be. She shrugged and focused back on the room. If it was important she would remember.
She caught the last part of Von's question to Jayce. She turned to look at Jayce, listening to him answer Von's question. Though the topic quickly bored her. She could care less about records and stuff. So while Jayce talked she continued to spin around, letting her mind drift. I'm really glad I don't have to keep records. Well, I guess inventory counts, but I only do that once a month unless a lot of people need things or I run out of something and need more supplies. Am I running out of anything? I don't think so. Wait, I used the last of the sodium sulfide for my mustard gas 2.0 experiment. Though, the TDE should be done by now, she thought. She slowed down in her spinning. It finally dawned on her what she was forgetting. She had left all the stuff running cause she figured the meeting wouldn't last longer than an hour. "s**t," she said, stopping her chair and standing up quickly. She ended up shoving the chair into the desk in the process, but she was already rushing to the door. Honestly at this point he was just waiting for someone else to screw up more than that girl did. Hopefully running a gang didn't turn into babysitting with that example.
Anyway, for now he wouldn't bother with the mentor thing unless they were in dire need of training someone. Though, as far as he was concerned the two were more than capable for it and it didn't look like he would lose either of them anytime soon. So there really wasn't a need for it.
"Eiri," he mumbled to himself to make some kind of note of it. Sylvanus then laughed, amused by her comment. "This is very true,"he said, moving closer to the file cabinet that Jayce directed him to. As he listened, he looked through the files and saw what the other had meant about the notes. Some of it would probably need more context to put together, but others had just enough that he could figure out what it meant. As for the rest of the stuff he would probably look through it later when he was more focused and had more time to properly sit down and go through it.
Jayce then peeked more of his interest about another fire elemental. "Now there's something to look into. Though im not too concerned about the tomes just yet, I wouldn't want to waste to much time trying to get that figured out until we find more. As for all we know it could just be some old shumck's shopping list. Ah but I already gave Eric something to do, damn. Guess he'll just have to be busy then."He sighed and placed the folders back into the filing cabinets. "Since I dont quite feel like shifting through old s**t just yet, tomorrow i'll go with you on that. If the tomes deem to be anything worth looking into then i'll have Eve ask a certain friend of his about more history behind them.Considering their odd relationship i'm sure some time will will be made just for him."There was a slight annoyance in Sylvanus's tone, more out of the fact that he hated that his brother actually had a really valuable source of information. However the reliability of it was questionable, but if his brother made it this far using people and connections he knew then there certainly was some legitimacy behind it. This was assuming that there was something worth looking into the tomes and that the governor would actually have something on it. Part of him didn't really feel like looking into it or wasting time on it, but he knew very well that it shouldn't be ignored. Who knows he could be completely wrong about it.
Sylvanus was in the middle of piecing together other things that needed to be done when Eiri pulled him out of his thoughts."Well then...." he murmured, turning to looking out the window for a moment. Now when did it get so late?

"Yeah, well you've helped me plenty of times in the past as well. You know quite a few things I've only really looked partially into, much to my dismay. I probably should have payed more attention to some of them. I mean honestly, if you hadn't known about them as I poked around at things I didn't completely understand, I probably would have blown myself up on multiple occasions. Or once. Depending, and would no longer be with you all right now." His attention drifted from her to Von, and he watched him for a moment. "Personally? I think they deserved the injuries. There is no excuse for idiocy when the information and warnings are laid out for you to see plain as day." He pulled away from the cabinet he stood next to, moving towards the desk just as Eri was standing and bolting from the room, shouting something about knowing where she was if they needed her, and about her TDE decaying. He watched her for a moment, before shaking his head slowly and placing the book down so Von could look it over when he needed to.
"She's always like that, no worries. Always moving in some way or another. Anyways, I understand not wanting to worry about the tomes, it wasn't the most important of things for us either. We were more curious about them than anything. So I can understand if you're not up to worrying about that right now." "And as for Eli being busy, well I'm sure he can deal with it just fine. I'd rather him be busy right now more than not anyways, though, then again, that could just be me being bitter. Sometimes he's alright, others...." He shrugged, chuckling. "And who knows, he might just enjoy the time away." The only thing he wasn't entirely sure about, was what he meant by Eli having a friend he could talk to. He hadn't known about him having a possible significant source of information. Especially not one that might know something about the tomes. Then again, that was why it was his job to gather it, not his. Though he had his own sources, it wasn't really his job, not always, and even if it was part of a job for him, it wasn't in the same way as Eli's.
He went quiet for a moment as his mind raced, his thoughts flicking over anyone he thought this "friend" could be, but never really resting on any one person in particular. In fact, he wasn't sure if he should be ashamed of himself or not that he couldn't seem to think of anyone it might have been. Maybe if it hadn't been about the tomes he could have come up with something? But even then it was a big maybe. Oh well, it hardly mattered right then what Eli got up to in his spare time. And it wasn't like he thought something bad would come of it anyways. It had just, for some reason, thrown him off a bit.
He brought his gaze up towards Von again after a few moments of being lost in thought, about to say something when he noticed how late it had gotten. Normally he wouldn't really care about the time, he'd spent days awake working on things before, but now he was beyond exhausted. After everything that had happened the past couple weeks or so."Ah, sorry if this is a bit rude but...would it be okay, if I excused myself for the night? It seems to be getting a bit late, and I still have some things I need to finish wrapping up, both work wise and other. And I have a feeling I'll need to get some sleep before tomorrow. Though..if you need me to explain more or to do something...I'll stay. tab tab tab tab tab tab tab ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Sylvanus lazily picked his head off of the desk, blinking a couple of times as he slowly processed everything. The room had aired out and the sun was shining brightly through the window, directly onto his face. He scrunched his nose slightly in displeasure and sat up more to move out of the way from it only to feel that his neck was a bit sore from how he fell asleep. Letting out a small yawn he rolled his neck from side to side to work some of it out. Even if he couldn't get it all it would just stay a minor inconvenience that would go away soon enough. For a moment he rested his head in his hand, not ready to wake up and honestly not really in the mood too.
Last night he decided to comb through any and all information, and made his own notes as he pieced together everything he wanted to do. It was hefty list that was watered down on a sticky note with a few words jotted down around the paper. Mostly it looked liked nonsense with the scribbles and scattered question marks, not to mention the legibility of it was poor and only got worse. Looking back at it he wasn't entirely sure he was writing down words. The other side of it was no better. In fact it made less sense, possibly even hurt him a little as he tried to understand why he wrote down something about mountains or at least that's what it looked like. He pinched the bridge of his nose and closed his eyes, deciding to just not with the sticky note at all and instead just go down everything in his head once more.
At least there were two things he knew for a fact he wanted to get out of the way, figure out the slab and get more info on their elemental in Zlido. The first would probably result in a field trip around Lohrith and continuous quest at best. Sure they had the witch to translate, but he doubted that would be the end of that. Assuming it meant anything at all. Even if it didn't he figured it couldn't hurt to dig deeper into whatever it all meant. As for the second they would have to revisit whoever brought the information to Jayce on the elemental. Which all meant tasking Eli with several things to do and give out to whoever was in his ring of people. All in all wasn't much to do at the moment other than gather information, and honestly that could just be given to everyone until they gathered enough information to do anything with. It bothered him a little, but he knew it was best not to get too impatient.
With a small sigh he got up from the desk to go and close the window now that the room was no longer stuffy, it was also too bright so he closed the blinds as well. He then dug through his pockets to find his phone that ended up being dead anyway. Stuffing that back in his pocket he turned back to the rest of the room considering reorganizing it for a moment and then decided to just leave it. He would probably turn it back into a mess anyway once he started digging through it all over again to find something. At the very least he knew where everything is and where it used to be.
For now He figured it would be best to shower and not smell the way he dressed. Luckily he decided to leave some stuff in one of the apartments as a just incase type deal.
