 Ceto's adventures had taken him to strange places. Usually dangerous places where he had to be saved. He specifically remembered his run in with the desert. The blazing hot sun burning down on him, each step felt like he was sinking deeper in the sand. It was an experience he never wanted to repeat. Currently, he was in a position that reminded him very much so of his time spent in the desert. Except, instead of sand there was snow and the heat replaced with freezing temperature. His curiosity had gotten the better of him. He had seen the snowy area from a distance and just had to check it out. As a cub he was told stories about snow from travelers and had never seen it before. It was an amazing site to see. Too bad he felt as though he was going to freeze to death. Looking around, he couldn't even really tell where he had come from. His tracks had been quickly erased by the blowing winds and snow. He continued pushing forward in hopes that he would be found.

Aeeninwen Taldel was patrolling as usual. Unable to go past the pride limits, she did her best to make sure the pride was safe, and finding lost souls. Today was much like any day, she had been assigned a section of area to cover like normal, and she was now heading to the area she needed to be in. Or rather, she was already there, she was just doing her rounds.
Everything was normal, except within a hunk of minutes, she found herself finding a stranger she had never seen before. She moved towards him, sure that he hadn't seen her. His colors were amazing in her eyes. The blues were something she was drawn to, he stood out fairly well against the white snow, if it had been more towards winter, she'd hardly had noticed him. She stood out well too during this time.
"Hello, stranger" She said as she announced her presence as she got closer to him. She had to admit, he was a good looking lion. "What is your business?" She spoke firm, but friendly. She was still all new to this guard thing. She had been shadowing other guards for the longest time to get an idea, but none of them had run into anyone while in her training. Today, actually, was her official guard duty day. She was fresh meat, other words, though she tried not to show it.

Ceto had heard her voice before he saw her. He looked at her like she was the first lioness he had seen in years. “Hello,” he greeted, looking around sheepishly. “I er, have no real business here. I saw the snow and got curious. While exploring I lost my way.” He wished that his story wasn't so lame. Why did he have to be lost around such a pretty lioness, he thought. “You don't seem lost. Do you live around here?” The thought of anyone living in the area was frightening. He couldn't imagine a life like that. Sure, it was fun to play in the snow but living in the cold temperature? His legs shivered at the thought.

She smiled at him sweetly. She had been given the same look before by all those who were lost in this area. Of course, normally she wasn't the one that actually found them, but she was always with someone. Not today though. Today she would show them she could do things on her own.
"Good thing I found you!" She spoke with a cheerful tone. He would have been dead other wise! Okay, probably most likely not, but it was still good that he ran into her. "Do you need shelter?" She asked him carefully. There was no harm in finding someone new. They were all under the impression that those who were found were meant to be found. These lands were protected. Those who needed salvation and a place to rest, were able to find someone in the pride.
Anyone with malicious intentions continued to wonder the land without hope. There were some that doubted that, but she wasn't one of them. She put full faith into the lands and the magic that was placed upon it by the goddess of snow. "My name is Aeeninwen Taldel, but you can call me whatever you wish"
She nodded at him. "I indeed, live around here! This land is the Schnee la Neige'milima Lands" She said with a proud stance.
