UrsulaQuote: "So tell me about this star," she says as she drags her claws across the soft skin of the gasping mare's neck. She stoops down to coo in the frightened darling's ear, and lifts her eyes to meet her lover's gaze. "You said it can give us children?" VladislavQuote: Vladislav chuckles and stops adjusting the spikes at the entrance of the cave. "You continue to have impeccable timing for these conversations, my dear," he laughs. UrsulaQuote: "I guess torture just gets me in the mood to have babies," she throws a saucy wink his way. VladislavQuote: That gets a full-belly laugh from Vladislav. "You cheeky minx," he growls playfully. "Cease playing with our food. I'm hungry." UrsulaQuote: Ursula lets out a dramatic sigh before increasing the pressure of her claws on her victim's neck. The mare's skin splits and separates, and Ursula is delighted by the warm spray of blood against her chest. The mare below her lets out one final wheeze before her eyes dim and the tentacle'd mini giggles before offering a bloodied talon to Vlad. VladislavQuote: Eager to accept the offered limb, Vlad lowers his head and swipes his tongue along her bloodied claws. He lifts his head back up and smacks his lips thoughtfully. "Tastes okay," he says finally. He looks down and chuckles when he sees that his mate is already elbow-deep in the mare's chest. "About the star," UrsulaQuote: Ursula perks up and looks away from her work, catching his eye. "Yes? About the star?" VladislavQuote: "I've heard many stories. You just have to find it in the sky, offer it something special, and wish for whatever you want," UrsulaQuote: Ursula digs the corpse's heart out from the brutalized chest cavity and gives it an appraising look. "Do you think this counts as special?" VladislavQuote: Vladislav laughs. "It must be something from both of us, and I'm not too sure that the star would appreciate a bloody heart... also that's our dinner," he reminded her. UrsulaQuote: "True..." She's still staring at the heart and then looks down at the dead mare beneath her. This foolish female that had tried to leave The Pit and had rightfully fallen into one of their spike traps. She would have died regardless of Ursula's added torture. "Do you think the star knows?" VladislavQuote: "Knows what?" Vladislav blinked. UrsulaQuote: "Knows that we kill things. Like. A lot?" Ursula placed the heart on the ground and started digging through the mare's chest cavity with renewed vigor. "Do you think it only gives the goody-goodies babies?" VladislavQuote: "Are you asking me if the most likely fictitious baby-giving star in the sky has a moral compass?" UrsulaQuote: Ursula sputters. "Well I mean if you put it like that..." she pouts and changes the subject, tossing the mare's liver over her shoulder. "Did you want the lungs too?" VladislavQuote: Vladislav sighed. "Regardless, I think it's worth a shot, my love. What is the worst that can happen? A star in the sky doesn't give us a baby? I can live with that.... and I don't think I'll eat them, but we can hang them with the other lungs in The Pit. I think they make nice decorations along with the intestines," UrsulaQuote: "Oooh thanks for reminding me," she says, already extracting the intestines. Once the lungs and long tubes of flesh are plucked from the corpse, Ursula sits back and hums thoughtfully. "So I guess we're going to wish on a star, huh?" VladislavQuote: "Hey if that doesn't work, there's still kidnapping," Vlad grinned and playfully nudged his love with a wing. UrsulaQuote: Ursula cackles and smacks his flank with a tentacle. "This is why I love you," she sings.
