Sailor Thisbe had missed out on the group outing to Negaspace. Sure, she'd gotten to hear a few things second hand from the Senshi of Vengeance, but it wasn't the same as being there. It was a disappointment, honestly, but it was her own fault for not responding to the summons. And why hadn't she responded? Better things to do. Dance rehearsal. School studies. Pretty much everything else at that point was better than the idea of powering up and risking running into an officer like Prehnite again. The bruises and scrapes had healed quickly enough, but her head still wasn't in the right place. She had powered up that night in an attempt to clear her thoughts, sticking to the rooftops as she made her way across town. She kept her senses open for any blips that she might pass by, Order or Chaos. Time would tell if she'd actually run into anyone that night.

His head was a mess and as much as he wanted to call Katrina to distract him, occupy his time he couldn't. Not when he was too focused about his space things that she'd made clear weren't worth the energy and focus he was clearly expending upon it. He had unbridled energy crawling under his skin that urged him to power up, stalk the rooftops in the city at a brisk pace as he tried to expend it.
He wasn't like Tourmaline, he didn't have it in him to reach out to someone he knew for a good old sparring session. Especially not her.
So, he took to running across rooftops until he, quite literally, ran into someone else. He hadn't been paying attention to anything other than making sure his breathing was even that he didn't pick up on the energy signature until it was on top of him and he ran smack dab into the senshi.

Her hood was nearly knocked off as she was knocked back and it took her a moment to to settle it back atop her head after picking herself up off of the ground. The Chaos aura had been moving so quickly that she'd barely had time to figure out what it was doing before it was on top of her, knocking her soundly onto the ground. It wasn't like it had been when Captain Richterite had attacked her, though. This seemed more like a stumble than an actual intended attack... But that didn't make it any better, did it? "Really in that much of a hurry to get into a fight tonight?"

When the senshi fell, so did he but luckily for the both of them, he didn't fall on her. His palms had skidded across the roof, scraped and stung, knees protesting when he pushed himself up, tried to dust himself off.
"N-no!" he stuttered, eyes wide and swallowing harshly as he looked at the blonde. This was the second - third time? - he'd run in to someone on the other side because he'd been careless.
How embarassing.
"I'm not - that wasn't - " he stopped, sighed and played with the hem of his own hood. "Running into people is just my thing okay?"
Lame, he sounded hella lame.

"Just your thing?" She crossed her arms over her chest, peering at him from beneath the lip of her hood. "Honestly, who actually admits that running into people is a thing that they do?" Thisbe clicked her tongue, tsking softly at the Negaverse officer. He felt like he was about the same rank as she was, aura-wise, so she could probably take him... As long as his weapon wasn't something jabby like the last Lieutenant that she had gone up against. "What's your name, Soldier?"

He frowned at her, a deep set frown that included the furrowed brows and narrowed eyes. The most frustrating part of it all was that he didn't have a witty retort for her. It was like all his wit and charm vanished whenever he put on the uniform. It was rather sad.
So instead he frowned at her, took a couple of steps back then folded his arms over his chest.
"I don't see why I should give you my name at all," he quipped, recognizing that maybe that was a childish response. Still, why would he tell her. "You're rather judgey."

"Did we get off to the wrong start after you nearly knocked me over? I'm sorry." She did her best to look apologetic as she held her hand out to the officer. "Let's try again, maybe? I'm Sailor Thisbe." Her name was all she offered, not willing to divulge her sphere. There were times when she pondered whether or not giving her name was even a good idea, considering she had been running into more Negaverse officers now and there was always that chance someone might actually know who she was or what she could do.

This chick was weird and Aluminite didn't think that anything about this seemed like a good idea. He didn't recognize her name when she offered it and he simply stared at her outstretched hand.
"I'm not inclined to shake hands with senshi," he stated firmly, jaw setting tightly as he shook his head. "I'm not really interested in who you are." Though he probably should be given that maybe the girl could give him information.
"What are you doing out here anyway?"

"I could ask you the same thing. You looked like you were running away from something... Were you? Another battle? A body you left behind? You weren't running away from yourself, were you?" Her hand dropped slowly back down to her side, head tilting as she continued to watch him from beneath her hood. "What are you interested in, then, if not who I am and what I can do? Not gunning for my starseed? That'd be a first..."

"I was running because I felt like running," he snapped, the nervous energy that'd been building inside of him lashing out in a way he never expected.
Aluminite didn't get angry, but he was angry now. "Thanks for the assumptions though, it's appreciated." He said, incredibly dry, fingers curling and uncurling into his palm.
"I'm here because I wanted to get some energy out," he hissed. "But if you want to fight. Fine, it's not like you're not already being - " he stopped shook his head, rocked back on his heels.
No, no, he wasn't going to insult her. He was better than that.

"You're all alike," she snorted as she shook her head. "Ask 'em a few questions and they start to get fighty. Even when you don't ask questions there's a fist or a weapon. Hmpfh." Shaking her head, she brought her fists up as she took a defensive stance. "Woe upon you this evening, I'm Sailor Thisbe!"

"Yeah well maybe if you weren't so mouthy people wouldn't want to punch you to shut you up," he snapped, rolling his eyes as she slid into a fighting stance.
Green eyes swept over her form trying to figure out where her weak spots were before he too shifted and then, in an out of character moment, Aluminite threw the first punch.

Even with her guard up she hadn't expected the punch to come so suddenly. She had almost banked on him backing out of the squabble, but no. Instead he threw a punch that caught her in the jaw, sending her reeling backwards. Her eyes narrowed as she brought her hand up to rub at her jaw, dazed for a moment and trying to recover her senses. She straightened out, tossing her gloves to the ground before running at him to strike back.

He didn't want to fight, not really but frankly, Thisbe was being a judgemental b***h. And maybe Aluminite was tired of always being the nice guy even when other people were well -
Assholes.
She charged him, swiping at his stomach and despite his efforts, she caught him hard across the abdomen. He grunted but did not go down or back off. Instead he bent forward, attempted to slam into her chest with his shoulder.

His shoulder made contact with her chest, driving the wind from her. She coughed out the name of her attack on her way down, hand firmly grasping his arm to tug him down along with her as her hood fell back. " Veil of Woe..." Her back hit the ground, knocking the rest of her breath away as she lay there. This had been a terrible idea. Nuxaz Attack #1 - Veil of Woe! - Woe lands a successful touch attack after removing one of her gloves, lowering her hood to gaze at her opponent. Effects: For a brief moment Woe's opponent (singular) views her as someone close to them in grievous distress, be it a situation from one of their memories or the situation they are currently in (about to be attacked). This is meant to be a disorienting attack. It can also work without her hood, but the effect always seems more powerful when they don't see her face first. Duration: Instantaneous; wearing off after one post.
