Galaxite bounced a little on his toes, glancing back at Caledonite. He had been in the Negaverse for a while, now, and he was getting much more comfortable with it, really! He didn't always like doing things like draining energy, but they were necessary, and besides at worst someone had to take a nap somewhere unpleasant.
"What are we working on tonight?" He asked, turning so he was facing Caledonite.

Caledonite huffed quietly. They really should have done something like this sooner, but the green haired man was a little loathe to admit they had gotten thoroughly distracted by each other's presence. "Fighting." He said, as if Galaxite didn't already know that.
"Attacking, defensive, fighting dirty. We're working on anything and everything." The question became, where did they start, or did he just throw Galaxite to the metaphorical wolves and see if he could keep up.
Yeah... That sounded like a plan. Without warning, Caledonite rushed him, closing the distance between them.

Galaxite frowned faintly, and was about to protest, to ask what kind of fighting, because he already knew they were going to fight, but then Caledonite elaborated and he stopped bouncing long enough to nod excitedly.
"Okay, okay," he said, but he was totally unprepared for an actual charge. He flailed a little, dodging out of the way clumsily. This, he thought, was why he was never going to be much of a fighter; still, he was going to try, for Cale!
So he recovered a little from his clumsy dodge and shifted his grip on his silly plastic weapon to swing it at Caledonite's chest.

Caledonite laughed, as Galaxite flailed in surprise. "Aw... All that one on one time with me and you haven't learned a thing have you?" He taunted. "Well... Maybe I'm going to have to fix that... Teach you a lesson, hmm??" Though when a dinky little bow came flying at him, Caledonite stopped and stared at it almost as if it offended him somehow.
Which, honestly, it probably had.
"I have got to get you a better weapon." Cale scowled, grabbing at the Lieutenant's wrist.

Galaxite flushed, feeling guilty for his lack of skills even though that was maybe a little bit silly. "I want to get better!" He said, and he tried to pretend he hadn't caught onto the double meaning of Caledonite's words.
This was really not the time to be thinking about that.
He was all ready to defend the honor of his dumb Nerf bow, but Caledonite's hand on his wrist stopped his train of thought in its tracks.
"Uh, yeah, a better weapon would be great," he said, and then an idea occurred to him. He brought his other arm around to grab Caledonite's, with an attempt to hold him in place so that when Galaxite brought his leg around to sweep Cale's out from under him, he wouldn't be able to dodge.

"Prove it." Caledonite challenged, shoving Galaxite back. He himself, needed a better weapon. Something more then these damn bracers. "Then prove to me that you can wield it." Galaxite had hands. He better figure out how to use them.
Caledonite hit the floor.
Or feet. Feet worked too, he supposed.

Galaxite didn't want to revel in his triumph, but he did want to take advantage of it. He dropped down to his knees to pin Caleodnite in place, one arm coming down to rest across his windpipe. There wasn't much force behind it, because he didn't want to actually cause any harm, but enough to make a point, he hoped.
"How was that?" He asked, cheerily.

Caledonite fixed him with a flat stare. "You're holding back because it's me." He snarled. "You would be crushing the throat if it were anyone else. Seem's like you're trying to do something 'else'." Cale's tone grew dangerous. "Do I need to watch you when you go on your missions Lieutenant?" Maybe Cale would have to remind him of a few things. Galaxite belonged to him and no one else.

Galaxite swallowed. There was something in Caledonite's tone that had him genuinely concerned that he was in....well, in trouble. "Of course I'm holding back because it's you!" He said. "And if I'm doing anything else, that's also because it's you." He frowned down at Caledonite, offended by the notion that he'd do either thing for anyone else.
"So no, you don't need to watch me." A slightly sly smirk drifted across his face, though, and he leaned down, so his lips were centimeters from Cale's. "Unless you want to, of course, but that's a little different."
