Rose colored eyes gazed across downtown Destiny City, watching the multitude of weekend partygoers as they dallied and tallied their way down the long stretch of road. The sidewalks were littered with restaurant and bar barkers, beckoning the tourists to come in and try the best whatever in town, be it food or alcohol or atmosphere. She sat atop one of the smaller skyscraper's rooftops, her legs curled up indian-style near the edge of the building. In her lap, nestled within the fabric of her dress, sat four large, golden orbs. Dia had already been busy earlier in the evening, but she was too restless to head home just yet - maybe there was a wandering drunkard or two who wouldn't mind donating towards her cause - towards the Negaverse's cause - before she decided to call it a night. One hand lowered to pluck up an orb, tossing it gently in the air, only to catch it moments later. She repeated the process several times before allowing it to rest in her palm, giving her the opportunity to study it further. It was a shame, really, that these pretties couldn't be converted into jewelry. They'd make a fantastic necklace and earring set, in her opinion. Tsk, tsk!Daekie don't hate me, I run out of ideas after being up for 18 hours whoops

No matter what Chrysocolla told herself, she wasn't patrolling. This wasn't anything like patrolling. It was testing out her new upgrade, more like -- the balance of it, the power behind her jumps, the feel of the outfit like a second skin -- but patrolling? No. She still shied away from Order-side auras, after all. (They left a gross taste in her mouth.) This was about where she'd usually power down and take the bus home, when she wandered this far (which she didn't too often, staying close to home was the wise way to do it); but there was an aura here, just like her! Another corrupt senshi! There wouldn't be a better time than this to try out her new teleporting, too, so -- Chrysocolla took a few rooftops closer, trying to locate the warm body that was the source. ...there. Long, pink hair. That had to be it. She concentrated and suddenly popped into existence behind Dia, coughing politely to make her presence known. "Hi, um -- if you don't want me here, I mean, I'll leave; but I haven't seen you around before! Are you new?" Age and rank didn't really factor into it, honestly. Ghouliboo i took almost a solid week to reply i win

The bouncing aura had lingered in the back of her mind, the feeling less than a tingle, merely making its presence known. Hearing the voice suddenly behind her, however, was enough startling to force out an alarmed eep! as her hand tried to drop the orb back into the safe confines of her lap. It missed, sadly enough, the golden ball bouncing from the side of her leg and sailing down, down, down - parallel to the building's wall - until it landed with an echoing crack onto the pavement below. She couldn't see it, but as the essence of the energy slowly released itself from the shell and evaporated into the night air, so did a sliver of her enthusiasm. So much for that harvest. The woman's aura was strong - similar to the strength of the two or three Generals she'd ever come into contact with. Her voice seemed more amiable and approachable than the Generals' had been, her question both friendly and curious in tone. Head turning, she gazed up at the long hair first, the vibrant seafoam color catching her eye. The second thing to notice were the large bat wings extending from her backside - senshi got wings?"Sort of?" The question posed an interesting thought. Was she? What was considered new in Negaverse time? She'd been at this senshi business for a few months now, but that was a drop in the bucket compared to the lifetime of dedication that some agents had already served towards the great cause. "I'm Dia. I haven't been around that long, but," Fingers hastily tucked the energy orbs back into her concealed pocket, the senshi slightly embarrassed at being caught playing with the quota. "You're welcome to stay! I would love the company." Daekie Nah dude, you're solid. Trying to juggle metas and RL is hard enough; the struggle has been real this week

Chrysocolla looked immensely embarrassed when she realized she'd made Dia drop her harvest. "I'm so sorry about that -- if you don't have quota, um, I can give you some of mine? But it looks like you've done really well already!" She kneeled down, smiling, legs folded underneath her. "I'm Chrysocolla -- and, um, I mean -- I didn't mean 'new' in a bad way or anything...I just haven't seen you around before...!" (If Dia took a closer look at her face, it was obvious Chrysocolla could barely be considered a woman -- her cheeks still carried tinges of baby fat that would never fade, but she could have been anywhere in her mid teens. Not early teens, not anymore.) "So, um...do you normally stay in this area? Oh -" she perked up, eyes glittering - "who's your General..?" Ghouliboo apologies for short, but if i made it any longer you wouldn't see me or it for at least a week

It felt odd, being apologized at by someone clearly holding a higher rank than herself. At the same time, though, it was rather...relieving? Here she was, expecting a scolding at the very least and she was the one receiving the sorry! "Chrysocolla." She tried it out for herself, playing the word on her tongue. It definitely sounded original - reminded her of an elegant butterfly, even. "I'm more towards the North, but I find downtown full of energy on nights like this." One hand gestured out towards the lit-up streets of downtown Destiny City, the sidewalks and pavement filled with citizens practically brimming with energy. "My General is, ah, Labyrinthite." It still felt odd, having someone overseeing her, but Chas--er, Laby --- wasn't quite as threatening as her first impression thought him out to be. "What about you? Do you have a General? I mean, aren't you...?" Her words trailed off, the pinkette finding herself frustrated with the fact her words weren't coming out as nicely as she'd like them to. The other senshi was clearly emitting the same power as her own General, but would it be insulting to ask if she had someone overseeing her? Or did one stay under the command of a General, when they themselves found promotion? Instead of fussing, she simply shrugged and patted the cement beside her, offering the other girl a seat. Daekie No worries, size doesn't matter!!!!

Chrysocolla smiled, clearly relieved that Dia was responding to her on semi-equal ground. Of course the question might have seemed rude to ask -- Dia didn't know her! She didn't know how lost Chrysocolla would be without proper guidance. There were some people who were fine on their own, but...Chrysocolla was not, and would never be, one of those. "I don't think I've met Labyrinthite, actually...what's he look like? Maybe I might have seen him at a meeting...the name sounds familiar, though! And, um --" she blushed -- "I'm General Cinnabar's, actually...I started training with her when I was a Super like you, and I really only just got this powerup -- and I really wouldn't know what to do with myself at all otherwise...so I report to Cinnabar. There are, though -- um -- there's a lot of Eternals who don't, though! I just...I wouldn't be able to do it." She moved to sit down besides Dia, trying to keep eye contact despite the strong urge to stare down at the streets below. Ghouliboo SO IS THIS DATED PRE-META OR. It could go either way?? I assumed it was pre-meta tbh just because Dia isn't Stabbed.

Her eyes lit up with excitement and awe as the girl mentioned her General. There was obvious reverence held towards the woman as Chrysocolla spoke and Dia completely understood why. "You're under Cinnabar?" The question was redundant, but Dia disregarded that fact as she digested the newly devoured information. She was under Cinnabar? The tall, formidable woman she'd met during the battle months prior? "She's.... wow." One leg kicked out, the need to fidget soon rising. "That must be pretty intense." It was the candy senshi who had no problem breaking eye contact, glancing back towards the streets in front of them. She'd been intimidated by Labyrinthite when Tourmaline had introduced them, but she couldn't imagine working and training under the half-youma General. "I met her during the...invasion." What else were they supposed to call the catastrophe? "Definitely seems like you're on the right track, though...." The next question paused on her tongue, Dia almost seeming hesitant to ask it. But, curiosity always getting the better of her, she asked anyways, "Does she...scare you? Like, she's really cool but she also seems like she'd be really terrifying if you disappoint or upset her or whatever." Daekie I'M GOOD WITH PRE IF YOU ARE, I'm easy to please biggrin biggrin biggrin

"She's really not that scary," Chrysocolla laughed, eyes crinkling up. "I know she's really kind of intimidating, but...Cinnabar's never been anything other than good to me. My sister actually kind of sent me to her for training, and then I just never left." She shifted into a more comfortable sitting position, hands fisted in her lap, stretching her legs out. Mention of the invasion, though, made her cast her eyes down; biting her lip. "...I wasn't there for that. I should have been. I know I couldn't have done anything more, and I probably would've just gotten hurt, but...I still feel guilty about it." Ghouliboo dia stick her legy out really far

"Considering the circumstances for our meeting, I guess it makes sense that I only saw her when she was scary." Granted, seeing anyone in the battlefield would probably warrant only getting to know one's scary and intimidating side but Dia felt it would be easier to be more terrifying if one was a half-youma and dressed to the nine's in black and red, as opposed to someone with cotton candy colored hair donned with lace and pearls. Her nose scrunched up and her lips pursed into a fine line as she turned back to watch the girl as she spoke. Clearly the Eternal was suffering some guilt about not attending the Invasion, but Dia herself was slightly jealous of the other girl for not being forced to witness all that had happened. One hand moved out to gently touch the other's shoulder. "Don't. All of it was bigger than what a single person could handle. Not even Apatite or Laurelite could take on everything and they're the strongest we have." She wasn't about to mention the fact that being absent meant Chrysocolla failed to watch the deaths and the destruction caused by both sides and the horrifying sight of seeing a General Queen explode. The poor thing was having it rough enough without having that knowledge imparted onto her. Glancing back towards the lit up streets, Dia suddenly got an idea. "Hey, instead of us sitting around yapping and moping, why don't we go have us a little bit of fun?" The serious expression turned playful as she gestured towards the downtown area. "Wanna see if we can't get some energy or a couple star seeds tonight? I bet two fine ladies like ourselves could make a killing out there, if we tried." Daekie if i had cute stockings i would stick my leg out all the time, not gonna lie. Chrysocolla is so precious, wehhhhhh, i want to hug her

"Yeah, she -- she can be more than a little scary," Chrysocolla admitted. "Especially if you don't know her. The first time I saw her, I was kind of intimidated...but she's actually really great! Considering my first General sort of corrupted me and then ignored me -" she made a noise best summed up as 'insulted' - "she's really good about everything." At Dia's touch, though, she had to take a deep breath, biting her lip. "I know I couldn't have done anything to help, that I would have just gotten hurt, probably...but it's just really stupid. My sister and my friend were there, and they both got hurt, it's just -- maybe I could have taken the hits for them. I still don't really have too much of a life outside of this, but...they both do." The suggestion was taken after a few seconds of consideration. "Actually, um...that seems like a lot of fun! I'm really not that great with people, but there's never any harm in taking star seeds from some sleazes." Ghouliboo i used to wear a lot of kneehighs and i did stick my leg out all the time, so SHE'S VERY FLATTERED

She grinned and nodded her head. "Sleazy star seeds it is, then!" Moving forward, she scooted up until the backs of her shoes pressed against the sides of the building, her fingers gripping tightly to the ledge. Tossing the other girl a wink, she offered a friendly, "Race ya there" before promptly sliding off the side of the tower. Feet pushed against the concrete, sending the senshi forward and flying towards the nearby (thankfully shorter) building's rooftop. Heels made contact with the surface of the ledge and she ran forward without a glance back. It felt good to get out and about - even if she didn't necessarily need more for her quota this week. Maybe it'd just make her look good. Maybe she just wanted to turn it into a game. Either way, it was guaranteed to be more fun now that she had a companion to do it with!

"You know, I have an advantage," Chrysocolla murmured with a raised eyebrow, blping out of existence and popping back into reality to Dia's side without even seeming winded. "Just -- try to only take from people who are total sleazes, ok?" With a friendly nod and a wave, she disappeared again and reappeared on the street, nervously brushing stray hairs back before really getting into her mood -- after all. She hadn't gotten promoted so quickly because she brought in subpar harvests, after all.
