 Jenny, an Wolf furry, was in her wolf form inside of a cage at the trader's market. The man selling her was trying to make some big money with his rare animals. Jenny was the least expensive since the only rare thing about her was the coloring of her fur. As she laid in her cage, attached to the bars by a chain and collar around her neck plus a muzzle because she'd bitten the man twice and he'd gotten mad. She was currently trying to get the muzzle off of her face, pawing at it with her front paws. Though her efforts only proved futile. The man was making his rounds and kicked her cage when he saw this. She stopped growling at the man who was selling her like some sort of common pet. Though she was in her wolf form, she wanted to change back but couldn't in this small space that she was confined in. Jenny then spotted someone looking around the pet stalls, most likely for a companion and started to ram the bars of her cage trying to get his attention. She wore a collar that would send a small shock through her body, if a sharp whistle was blown. She growled as the man kicked her cage again as another warning to stop. Then took a leather item and started beating her after opening the cage door. Since she was muzzled, and chained, she couldn't bite or fight back in any way. It was enough to make anyone sick to their stomachs.

 A man was walking around the trader's market looking for a pet to come with him on his travels. He looked over the different animals the owner had for sale and he did see some good ones. A few white tigers here and there, some small dragons, and even some large dog sized beetles. "He has a nice... choice of animals to pick from, but none of them are calling out to me." Shortly after he said that, he heard a rattling noise with a banging noise mixed in as well. This caused him to get his first look at Jenny, a black wolf with a hint of pink in her fur. Seeing what the owner was now doing to her name the traveler narrow his eyes as he reached to grab the spear on his back. Once he did this, he made a B line to the owner and grabbed his arms with his fear hand and pulled him back from Jenny. "If you do not stop beating this poor creature, I will beat you." He said as he then pushed the owner back while standing between him and Jenny. "Now... if you know what is best for you, I will pay for this wolf and take her off your hands."

The man backed off of Jenny and said "Fine, but she's nothing but trouble." As he took the money after haggling for a bit with the man. Then the stall owner push a leash on Jenny's collar, pulled her out of the cage, and handed the leash to the man who bought the wolf. Jenny stayed by her new owner's side, trying to act like a good dog. She'd bide her time until the man wasn't looking and she'd make a B-line for the woods just beyond the town they were in. She'd wait until the muzzle and leash were off in order to do so. She started to pull on the leash a little not wanting to stay here anymore. She started leaning towards a food stand as the food she was given wasn't good at all. It was dog food, and she was wanting some real meat. She was skin and bones under all that matted fur. She refused to eat anything that wasn't made with real meat or any kind of human food.

The traveler just watched as the man took the money and got Jenny ready for him to take. He felt like still beating his face in for how he was treating her, and most likely how he treated his other animals, but he didn't want to start anything seeing that he would be leaving soon. Once he had the leash in his hand, he looked down to Jenny as she was pulling him to move along. "Alright alright little one, we will get going." The traveler nodded as he said that before looked over to the food stand that she was pulling him too. "Oh, I take it that you are hungry." He said with a smile smile as he then spoke with the owner so he could get her some meat to eat. Once he had that, he bent down and held it out to her with a smile. "After you eat, we will go get you cleaned up, alright?"

 Jenny was starving. So when her food was given to her, she started eating it hungrily, trying to act like a real wolf so as not to make him suspicious of her mannerisms in any way. As she ate, she heard him say something about getting her cleaned up, but wasn't sure if she would like it. She preferred to wash herself, but she knew she'd have to keep up this charade if she didn't want to be found out, and make him mad, or anything. As soon as she finished eating, she licked her lips feeling happy about having a full stomach for once. She even licked the wrapper of the meat clean, showing she'd enjoyed it very much. Though Jenny wasn't very fond of getting bathed by anyone but herself, she thought she'd hate getting 'a spa treatment' from the groomers.

The traveler watched Jenny as she was eating and could very well tell that she has not eaten well in a very long time. When she was getting close to being done, he had gotten her some more food before getting down on one knee and looking at her with a smile smile. "I can tell that was the first good meal you have had in some time little one, would you like some more?" He asked this as he held the wrapped up meat to her and unwrapped some of it so she could not only see it but get a better smell of it as well. "Eat as much as you like, and if not I will save it for later for when you get hungry again." He said as he still had it held out to her with a smile on his face.

Jenny managed to down half of the meat that he gave to her this time, before she stopped eating. Once she finished, she followed him around, keeping up the charade of being a wolf, until she could get away. Though she had to admit, this guy seemed pretty nice, but she wasn't taking any chances. After all, her last love was the reason she was in this position in the first place. He sold her after he found out what she really was, to make an extra buck. She never forgave him for that, and decided to never trust men again.
