The ocean holds many secrets as well as many treasures lost from man due to being out of reach of the hands of any that wish to find that. As years pass, the treasures and secrets sit in the abyss of the oceans, the sea claiming the wealth. As technology continues to grow though, the adventurous seek to claim such wealth as their own for both the thrill and the money. A female pirate seeks to stake her claim among the world as the curator of such wealth, the seeker of riches. When she finds the location of a famous vessel, lost to the depths, she uses a submersible drone to seek its true defined location only to have it get stuck in what was assumed to be seaweed and other marine flora. Annoyed, she has it pulled back to the ship only to find that amid the seaweed, wires and and cables of the drones machinery, was the body of a deep sea merman. Bothered by the light, it finally frees his arm from the machine that dragged him to the surface as he finds a place to hide and shield himself from the light (either the sun or its night time so the ship has spot lights on the deck). Will this pirate think of him as a prize, or a tool to be used to meet her own goals.
