We have not released a Kindred Capture Seal in quite a while, nor do we intend to regularly release these. The Rainbow Seal is out go-to Lake Kindred design opportunity to share with everyone, and Kin created with the Rainbow Seal are released to La Victoire!

Only User-created, Limited Quantity, or Limited Time Items are considered to have a wait time. Many of the items are releasable at the discretion of Gaia Staff, but we do try to give Sale items a bit of an informal rest period prior to rerelease.

On April 4th, the always wonderful excitable sloth posted in the Official LK Update Thread that Piopio had been removed and that a few new RIGs had been found in Kindred. I'm not entirely sure what areas this is referring to, but I've been watching the LK forum for new threads concerning these RIGs and some of my guild-mates and I in the Kingdom of Kindred have been searching various areas for the new RIGs and, in spite of that, we haven't been able to find anything but what was already there. No new RIGs. (Piopio, however, truly has disappeared.) Has this change been implemented yet and, if so, could we please know which RIGs were added or to which areas they were added?

Hello! The RIGs added were not 'new' RIGs, but RIGs that had been taken out of the Bunny Planet area at the beginning of the event. They were added back into the area. c:

A long time ago the alchemy formulas would tell us what we needed to complete the formula. Now we have to buy it before we are able to view what components we need and that isn't really fair. Some of the formulas are really expensive and it's a huge let down when we buy them only to see that there are no listing for the components needed or the components are super expensive. Can you please start showing us what is needed for a formula before we buy it?

I've noticed that whenever we edit or make a new entry we have to do a captcha code. Doing a code for each entry and edit seems a bit overkill, I'm not really seeing how or why it's necessary especially since we don't have to do a code for every post or edit we make in the guilds or forums. Can you make it to where we won't have to do a code for every tiny thing we do in our journals? Maybe you could space the code out to where we only have to do one per every few edits or entries.

So, something not covered in any of the Project Custom ticket rules (or at least the Quartz Stub rules specifically) I think is Sponsor Items. Are these items allowed to be recolored with a Rainbow/Double Rainbow Ticket or a Quartz Stub?
I'm looking more towards using a Quartz Stub on a sponsor item hair (thereby removing it from the rest of the set items), but wasn't sure where exactly this fell in the rules of any Project Custom rules.

I saw in Site Feedback that a person was quitting the site because she was fed up with Gaia letting people cheat in the Runway. Many people have been making threads about the cheaters some have event went as far as to e-mail the site about the issue and nothing was ever done. The cheaters have been getting away with this for months. Why did it take someone to make a thread saying that they were quitting the site before you made an effort to fix this issue? Don't get me wrong I'm happy that this is being fixed but it's pretty crappy that it took someone to quit the site before you'd do it or acknowledge other people in Site Feedback.

Suspected Runway cheating is something we've actually been keeping an eye on for a while and trying to figure out how we want to address, it wasn't just one person posting in Site Feedback. We've seen the Runway community wants it addressed and we are working on ways to address the situation.

Last year, we were promised that the Sycamorte Seeds would be updated with Kin from old RIGs and such. No such thing has occurred.

Is there a way we can unsubscribe from blocked topics? Not asking as a way to view them, but like, "Topics blocked: 2" in big red letters. Cause the blocked topics range from people adding you to their ignore list while you're subbed to their thread or a topic getting removed by you guys for whatever reason. Or like when a topic gets removed or blocked that you're subbed too(for whatever reason it says blocked on the page), you guys maybe setting something up that automatically removes it from the list?

When we sell Kin from our shops, can we see their level in the description, just like we see it when looking at them in our inventories?
This would help people list the correct Kin in their shops and not accidentally list something they were wanting to keep.

Could it be possible to have in the settings area, like past usernames you've had? Like you are able to see all past usernames that you've had? Maybe something like a sort of 'ownage' system? Like when you change your username, if you want to can choose to keep someone else from using that username? Like I enjoy coming up with my own usernames, putting cool/weird words together and I worry every time I change my username someone will just take my old one because they liked it. Which I don't like because it's something I put time into thinking up and creating.

Probably not. If you change your username you're committing to that new username, unless you claim it on a mule.

Would it be possible to update Sycamorte's battle animations to include one that makes it obvious when it uses a healing move?
As of right now the only tell we have is a blank animation and a "missed" attack. I know the numbers probably pop up, but since Sycamorte is so huge, you can never see the numbers pop off of it.

Can you guys please sell the Opal Ticket more often, sell it on sale more often, and allow an option whereby the buyer forfeits personal control of the ticket to let the whole Lake Kindred community decide through multiple staff-controlled votes on every aspect what the new Kin will be and look like -- in exchange for the Kindred having enough power to be on par with the Sakura Pegacorn Fluff? So, the staff would set up a thread where the users would vote on various aspects of the Kin, with the community thereby making decisions about the kin; but one person would have to provide the ticket -- I wouldn't mind saving up for that.
I think this would greatly excite the whole Lake Kindred community and let us collectively create an awesome kin, even if individuals such as me are edoing the buying.

Hello, I don't believe we will be making any kin that are as strong as Sakura Pegacorn Fluff.
It will continue to be the strongest. That being said, you still can have a kin designed by the community!

We're always grabbing items from this thread so if you spot any items that are in sore need of a rerelease, feel free to post them in there! We can't keep track of the thousands of items on our own, so it always helps when Gaians have some specific recommendations. biggrin

Regarding the Runway, The last Item requirement we had was a freebie item that belonged to both Human and Paw avies, yet only the human one was acceptable, leaving out the Paws in that theme. If an item is available for both human and paw base, than why exclude one of them? There are paw specific items, and items only available in the human base so using those I could understand that one base will get left out and that is acceptable; but when it's an item that both bases could use, shouldn't they both be allowed to enter the theme the item requirement is asking for? Some people prefer to use the Paw base over the human base.
Is it possible next time this situation comes up where both human and paw base can use the same item that they both could enter instead of excluding the Paws?

I'll look into this! It may have been an oversight, or it may be a coding limitation. Either way, I'll take a look and next time we do a Runway like this, we'll try and make it more inclusive if possible. Thanks for the feedback!

I was wanting to know what the game plan will be to contenue to bring in gold outside of cash shop items?
Like, are there going to be changes to the sites games, gold grants, daily chances, and voting to combat the inflation so new users who don't have a level 50 kin in lake kindred or loads of money to pump in to gain gold gens or higher end items have a decent chance to earn enough gold?
I know the economy isn't going to fix overnight and i know you all have been trying and i see improvements but i notice the gold amounts granted for posting ans such are a ton lower than what they could be to meet the average norm of billions rather than millions or even thousands.

This is my very first ATS question, so eek! i finally made it! lol
I was wanting to know what the game plan will be to contenue to bring in gold outside of cash shop items?
Like, are there going to be changes to the sites games, gold grants, daily chances, and voting to combat the inflation so new users who don't have a level 50 kin in lake kindred or loads of money to pump in to gain gold gens or higher end items have a decent chance to earn enough gold?

This has been something that we have discussed before, but we don't have any firm details on or a final answer for. However we do know and understand these are really outdated. So we'll see what we do in the future!

Are there any plans to allow users to comment on their friends' status updates on the My Gaia page? I think it would be a neat and convenient way to have a quick exchange with someone without worrying about leaving a more public profile comment or bothering with longer PMs. I know it sounds similar to a chat feature, but I'm talking about something more reminiscent of Facebook status replies.

Can the staff add more gift card entries to exchange into Gaia Cash? I have a Boston Market card that has $20 that I will never use. But it is not listed among the gift cards you accept and I would gladly put it towards the site.

Unfortunately our partner, PayGarden, controls which gift cards they accept according to who they end up partnering with. We can't really control that.
