This romantic story begins with a class president and a delinquent. Both share opposite views and roles. One maintains order while the other causes it but one thing keeps them intertwined to each other. They are both mythological beings and do not know this about one another. What would happen if they discovered about each other's true selves? You know what they say about opposites, they always attract.

 The sun began to rise on this quiet Tuesday morning. The birds sang the same song as every morning, the cars drove from street to street heading to work and the people of this town got ready for what was in store for the day. Just down the street in an alleyway, there was a boy getting beat up by a group of older boys. They kicked and punched and kept going until they were out of breath. The boy being jumped bled from his mouth with a smile on his face. The leader of the group grew impatient and slammed the boy against the alley's wall. You think you're tough huh? That smile on your face disguises me! You are the definition of a weakling. I bet your mother---. AH! The boy that was slammed against the wall had his hand gripped around the leader's head. He spat out the blood in his mouth and continued to clench down on the leader's head. The leader was in pain and gestured for his other goons to jump in. They began punching the boy again but to no effect. Hit him you idiots! AH! What are you guys doing? He shouted. The boy smirked then glared at each and every goon around him. He struck fear in them without even saying a word.
You know, it's not nice to talk about other people's mothers. Your mom is the person that brought you to this world am I right? The boy asked the group while still gripping the leader's head. The goons all nodded their heads and inched themselves closer towards the light at the end of the alleyway. And wouldn't you all be angry if someone wanted to talk bad about your mothers? Huh? The boy growled as the group nodded their heads several times again. P-Please stop! I'm sorry okay? Y-You aren't weak! Hey, how about this? You can have our wallets if you let us go huh? AH! He offered. The boy smirked once again and placed his other hand on his forehead. You guys just don't get it.. I can take your wallets and beat you to a bloody pulp! Screams were heard in the alleyway but no one bothered to acknowledge it. In a way, they deserved the beating by the boy. I mean, they did beat him up first, why not return the favor?
In the alleyway, the group of boys all laid unconscious. They were beaten badly and when they wake up, they wouldn't have any money on them. The boy who did this, walked out of the alleyway, whistling like nothing ever happened. His wounds had healed too. Little did the group of boys know that they picked a fight with a beastly strong phantom. All the damage that they did to him was inflicted back at them plus more. The boy continued to whistle while walking on his way to school. I wonder if the class president will find out about this. I hope she does. I left her quite a wonderful present. Hah hah. He tucked his hands in his pockets and felt all the money he had taken. Today was a good day, for G at least.

 As they day started, Vallerie went through the same routine she did everyday. Wake up, pick out her clothes for school[Do they wear uniforms or no..?], spend about 20 minutes in the bathroom before she reemerges, all ready for the day. Her hair was kept down but brushed, with her favorite hair accessory on the right side of her head. No makeup was applied to her at all, she loved her natural look. Grabbing her school bag, she headed down the stairs toe at some breakfast but she had to hurry, Val had to get to school early for some of her new Class President duties. After inhaling her food, she took off out of the house and down the street. It was a long walk but not long enough to make her get a bike and ride to school. When people said he to her, she smiled and waved back at him, telling them hi back. She was heading for the Student Council room

More and more of the townspeople began to appear out on the streets as the sun came out to fully say "hello" to the world. Some were headed to school, some headed to work and some even went for a morning walk. As for G, he slowly made his way to school. He noticed some of his classmates walking and biking and they sure noticed him by going on the other side of the street. They all saw G as a threat which he didn't mind. He had the power to be called so. Pfft. A bunch of fools. Serves them right to be scared of someone who is as good looking as me! He mumbled to himself. Just down the street, a bunch of "hellos" and "heys" were being exchanged. G knew who was about to pass by and that was his queue to stir things up. As the Class President walked right in front of him, G purposely bumped into her but made it seem like an accident. Woah! Watch where you're going! A sly smirk emerged from his face then quickly disappeared as he lost his balance and fell back. Ah! I'll be damned. You should be more careful of where you're walking Class Pres. He said while getting up and patting down his trousers. Things could have been worse if I were having a bad morning, too bad you won't be able to see. He devilishly chuckled. Good, things were going exactly as planned. G always messed around with the Class Pres whenever he got the chance to. He liked to make her angry because no matter what facial expression she made or what mood she was in, she always had those same radiating eyes. He liked her eyes a lot but he's never told her. Some secrets were better kept in the dark than shining some light on it. No one knew he was a phantom either so his list of secrets is pretty lengthy.

Val was having a pleasant walk to school when someone bumped into her. She was about to go off on the person but she didn't get a chance as she rolled her eyes and put her hands on her hips, "Oh please, you bumped into me. It happens so often that its expected." she looked annoyed as she picked up the things she dropped. When was he ever going to learn? She tried her best to ignore him or help him but it seemed he went out of his way in order to tease her. She kept on her way, running into a friend of hers. They talked until they had gotten to the school. She switched out her shoes like she always did, like everyone else. Taking her bag, Val walked down the halls. Once she was at the room she was looking for, she took a deep breath and entered, closing the door behind her. It had seemed she was the last to arrive and this meeting could get started

As the boy watched the Class Pres pick up her belongings, he decided to help but before he could she was already done. If I bump into you so often that it becomes expected, wouldn't you have been able to simply move to the side and avoid the clash altogether? I guess not. He teased. The Class Pres ignored his smart remarks and ran into one of her friends. They walked together but was still in distance for G to say one last thing. Oh! I hear that a group of boys were beat up this morning in an alleyway. I wonder if they are alright.. Oh poor boys! What ever will the Class Pres do? He devilishly chuckled again. The girl was already far away from where he stood so G turned in her direction and began trailing her slowly to school.

G walked through the gates of school with his hands tucked in his pockets again. The bell rang and so class started. The boy made his way inside the school and headed directly for the rooftop. That was his territory, no one dared to go up there when he was present. In a way, he ran the school with his toxic actions and liked it that way. It was rare for him to even be in school but today was different somehow. He felt at peace knowing that the Class Pres was nearby. G laid his back down on the roof's pavement, placed his hands behind his head and began whistling like he did before. Your beauty is unlike any others that I have seen.. You remind me of a mermaid in some ways. I wonder if I'll ever be able to be nice to her.. Probably not! Kufufufu~. Deep down in his heart, G knew that he's grown some weird attachment to the Class Pres but he never show his true feelings for her. It would ruin his chaotic reputation with the students around him. That's right, love would make him look weak.

This meeting she was in was about the class trip that was coming up next month. It was to the beach, the class had to come up with ideas and to vote. The beach won by a landslide and now they just have to do the budgeting for the trip. Bus rides to and from the hotel and the school, a hotel for everyone to stay, food tickets to hand out that gave the students three meals a day at the hotel, anything more than that they would have to buy themselves. And the camera costs for taking pictures and some other various costs. Its going to be a while before any numbers were set in stone, at least the beach wasn't too far away. At the end of the meeting, it was 5 minutes until the bell rang and Val had to rush to get to her classroom on time. She looked at the board to see who had classroom clean up duty today. She saw her name and....G. Great, of course it would be him and she was going to be doing all herself because he never showed up to cleaning duty at all. She got settled in her seat and class started with role call....

G continued to lay down and whistle on the rooftop as the next bell rang. He paid no attention to it. He really didn't care about class. I wonder who'll stumble up to the rooftops today. Will it be the boxing club members or the kendo club members? So many enemies to choose from. Hmm. He said to himself. Just in the distance, G saw a pair of birds flying together. They sang and played around in the free skies. If only he were a bird, he wouldn't be here right now. He let out a small smile as the birds reminded him of how things could be like if he actually got along with Val-- errr-- Class Pres. Why was he so interested in her today of all days? He didn't think about the group of boys he beat up earlier, or how he was a phantom or about all the money he had in his pockets. All he thought about was Val. G shook off the thought and pulled out his phone. He went through his contacts list and tapped on the Class Pres' number. G remembered how he got a girl from class to give up the Class Pres' number and how scared the girl was. All he asked for was the number, how scary could that be? He decided to shoot her a text to bother her. Yo~ Don't you think class is boring? Why not come meet up on the rooftops? I'd like to apologize for this morning's incident. I am so very dearly sorry for running into her grace~ Kufufufu~. He sent the text and waited for her to reply back. Bothering Val was G's forte, no one else could do it better than he could.

As class went on, her eyes darted to G's seat. He was absent of course, it was normal really. It would be abnormal if he was sitting in that seat. Class was boring but she took notes and participated anyways. No one knew this about her, but she really hated school. She didn't want to be a part of it anymore. After graduation, she was swimming to a tropical island and living there permanently with her own kind. She would have done so already but the rules said that she had to go to school and graduate in order to live on an island. No one knew but, she was a mermaid. Yup, her. Tail and all, at least when most of her legs were submerged in water. And that beach trip made her real nervous and sad. Sad she wasn't going to be able to swim with her friends, and nervous that someone will see her with a tail and blab to the whole class and the school and become a science experiment! But her personal feelings couldn't get in the way of an elected decision. When she felt her phone vibrate, she rolled her eyes. Only one person it could be. Val waited for the bell to ring before looking at it and reading it. She was still pissed off at him for finding her number and no matter what she did, he would always find a way to contact her. She took her packed lunch and raced out of the room, saying bye to her friends. She was headed for the roof. When she got there, Val saw him right away

A devilish smile appeared on G's face as he heard the rooftop doors slam open. He knew who it was without even taking a look over to see. Oh my, sounds like you were in a hurry to get here. I'm honored to be in your presence once again Pres. He chuckled while propping himself up. He tucked his hands in his pockets again and walked over to the guard rail of the rooftop and leaned on it. He studied Val very carefully and noticed that she had a bento box with her. Ah, it was lunch time. Maybe she'd share a bite with him.
I'm sure you didn't come up here to have a friendly talk so here I am. What do you want? He asked in a dumb manner. G loved getting on the girl's nerves, it was something he enjoyed a lot actually. G frowned when the girl ignored his question which made him also leave the guard rail. He slowly paced himself towards her, threatening to take something very precious from her. You know, it's not nice to ignore people when they are talking you.. G stopped walking when he was right in front of her and took her lunch box away.
He placed the lunch box on the ground and got the Class Pres to back up against a wall. His right hand held a firm grip over her wrist as he glared into the girl's eyes. Yes, make that mad expression at me. Do you hate me Class Pres? I'm sure you do. Kufufufu. With each word said, G leaned in closer and closer towards her face until their noses practically touched. He could really smell her scent now. The aromas were unlike any other that his nose smelled before. Val was unique and G wanted to know how. As he stared into her eyes, he could feel an odd presence. It felt magical. I could see in your eyes that you're hiding something, what could it be? Oh I wonder very much, care to share? He said as his lips were about to touch hers but stopped just in time to let Val talk.

As soon as she got to the rooftop, she already regretted coming up here. She ignored his annoying questions, she wasn't that out of breath. He was just as irritating as he was this morning. She would have crossed her arms over her chest but instead, he grasped her wrist rather harshly. She got more nervous the closer he got, "I do not hate you. Despite what you do, I do not hate you." she stepped back until her back hit a wall. She let go of her lunch, "You can have it. I'll buy some lunch today." she wasn't surprised that he would take it, whenever she did see him, he was taking food or money from people. Maybe he had parents who couldn't afford to feed an animal like that. Some folks were struggling with it. Val looked at him, straight in the eyes, not nervous anymore. Using her other hand, she pushed him away from her, "I am not hiding anything. Get to class by the end of the day, we are talking about the class trip." her eyes darted away for a split second. She lifted up her held wrist, "Can I have my hand back please?"

A look of curiosity furrowed the boy's eyebrow. Did Val just say that she didn't hate him? Wow, that's a new one. He expected her to hate him as much as everyone feared him. She's a game changer alright. He let out a small laugh when she told him that he could have her lunch. Do you really think I'd want some lunch when I've already got my prey in hands? G began to lean in towards her lips and attempted to give her a peck but she pushed him away with his other hand still gripped around her wrist. That's more like it! He ignored Val's question and pulled her towards his chest. With his other hand, he placed it gently on her waist. He liked to feel in control. What was that again? A class trip? Something about going to class at the end of day? You're asking for the impossible. I don't really care about those things. It's unnecessary to what I want. He sighed while loosening his grip on the girl. He backed up, picked up her lunch box and placed it in her hands. "I want you, you idiot." He sighed once again while walking back to the guard rail. He began watching the clouds drift across the sky and thought about the two birds from before. Maybe he was being a bit stubborn. Well, come on. Tell me about the class trip before I change my mind. G's change in heart was mainly because he was tired of seeing Val angry at him even though he was the one to usually start things with her. It's always nice to smile every now and then. He loosened up his attitude for her just this once but starting tomorrow, he'd go back to his usual delinquent self. He liked that persona above all else.

Val's heart rate increased as he got closer to her. Her palms had gotten sweaty but she cleverly hid that from him. She took her lunch back, not being able to think about food at all thanks to him and his stunt. She cleared her throat and took a step forward when he backed off. She was thankful for that. Why was she even concerning herself with him about this in the first place? "Its been decided that we are going to the beach." she hoped that caught his attention, and it probably did. The potential of seeing females in their sexy swimsuits aught to do the trick for him, "The fee is going to a little high but I'm sure the money you took from the boys you beat up this morning should cover it. Its due next week." That was her cue to leave but her feet remained where they were, not wanting to move. She smiled, turned around and left down the stairs. Why did she have to go out of her way for him? It confused her

G continued to watch the skies as Val explained where the class trip would be at and the fees for it. They were going to the beach and where there is a beach, there were hot babes in swimsuits. He was up for it but only wanted to go to see Val in a swimsuit. He'd definitely get a kick out of that! He let out a chuckle when she said that he'd have his fees taken care. It's not like they needed the money anyways~. He reached his hands down his pockets and shook the money around. Yep, there was more than enough. Hey Val.. The boy turned around and noticed that the Class Pres had already taken off for lunch. I guess I'll see you later in class you idiot. He sighed. As a series of bell rang throughout the day, it was finally after school hours. G had taken a nap on the rooftop and luckily he woke up and remembered to meet up with Val. Damn, how long was I out for? He yawned with a stretch while walking back into school and leaving the rooftop. The students in the hallways noticed G and quickly got out of his way. G smirked at the sight and made his way to the bathroom. After he took care of some business, he began heading towards the classroom where Val said she'd meet him at. G was the first to show up and felt kind of awkward for doing so.Whelp. this feels strange.. I never show up to these type of things. I wonder what Val is gonna have me doing today... Better not be some cleaning! He mumbled to himself.

Val had been distracted all day. She ate alone for the first time in forever. Why was he getting to her all of a sudden? Even when she was talking and having a blast with her friends, she was thinking about him. She needed to get a grip on herself, he was just some punk who was 'too cool for school'. As the day dragged on, she thought that she would see G come into the classroom fashionably late and make some bogus excuse. That had not been the case. Right before the bell, she had announced to the class about the trip and what it was going to cost. 50 dollars per student. Yep, it was pricey but that was what needed to be done. After class ended, Val had gone to the bathroom because she couldn't hold it anymore. She washed her face and hands, not really wanting to go back. But she had to. She arrived 5 minutes later to find G was there. Wow, could have fooled her, "We are on clean up duty today." she said to him before getting the broom and other cleaning stuff out of the closet
