Hyperborea walked down the street on her patrol she still wasn't feeling great, from her arm to her feeling irritable, moody, and depressed. But she couldn't stay in her dorms, she felt like she was on the verge of snapping at everyone around her if she wasn't keeping active. She hadn't been sleeping well either, she kept having dreams of that horrible future she had seen so many months ago with Hvergelmir, dreams of her dressed in a general's regalia and mercilessly slaughtering innocent people.
She felt the aura of a general walking around and decided to investigate it to make sure they weren't up to something terrible, not that she had much power to stop them if they were in her current state. But that wouldn't keep her from trying.
She was happy to find that the owner of the aura was someone she knew and liked. "Ploutonion it's good to see you."She called out to the corrupted Saturn knight. "You're a general now? Um congratulations I suppose, so how have you been?" She just hoped he hadn't had to do something horrible to earn his rank.

The bright, almost burning glow of a Transcendent Knight's aura made Ashanite pause. He had intended to spend his evening gathering energy, and then he would quietly return to Judas's apartment and sleep. Staying there had become a habit, and it was hard not to enjoy living with Judas, Devlyn, and Keiran - all bright, enthusiastic, fun people.
Still, for now he had a Knight to put on a show for, and so when he felt the aura approach he sighed heavily and leaned his weight on his weapon, considering the possibilities. If it was Celsus, he was absolutely going to stab the b*****d, because he was still angry about being held captive.
It was not Celsus.
"Hyperborea," he said, giving her his friendliest smile. "I see you've been doing well for yourself too." It was a little disappointing to know that she could never be corrupted, because that meant someone would have to kill her someday - but she probably considered it a victory.
She hadn't yet seen what it would do to her, everything it would take.
"I'll pass on some congratulations that are probably more sincerely meant than yours," he said, laughing a little.

She wished her congratulations could be more sincere but she feared what he had to do to achieve the promotion to general, she imagined the Negaverse didn't let just anyone take that kind of command.
"Forgive me I just would rather have seen you don a knight's regalia rather than a general's. But still you're alot stronger now than you were as a captain and that is a good thing." She offered as her justification for a lack of sincerity.
"Merci, I have gotten stronger now and my starseed is protected from corruption so thats a good thing." She said with a smile to match the general's own.
"So how have you been?"

Ashanite gave a little half-nod, something like a wistful smile on his face.
"I suppose the upside is that the list of people I have to obey is significantly shorter," he said, "if nothing else." He dismissed his weapon, shifting his weight off it before he did.
"I'm surviving," he said, which was the most honest answer to her question he could give. If he were being honest, he was thriving as a General - power sat well on his shoulders, he thought, or perhaps it was just the cape and pauldrons that came with it.
"You're lucky to be able to escape this," he said, not feeling like he needed to elaborate, really, "but be careful - officers will just go for the kill, now. Though I suppose you are more than prepared for that."
