Meeting Order people who didn't attack first was super surreal considering they were supposed to be enemies. Sure, he'd only met a few, but it was super awkward. The meetings always left him feeling like he was socially stunted and he knew he wasn't. Usually Kor McKneil was the king of new meetings. He loved them! But put him in front of a ******** 14 year old senshi who's in mainly white and he's the most awkward turtle.

He was just contentiously an awkward person around the teenagers that seemed to only get younger and younger. Pages and Knights? They were sometimes older and it was less awkward for him, but he rarely met someone his age in this whole war business. He was lucky to have Buddy. The man was his General, but also his age and a really, really good friend. ...and lover. The time he spent with the man... Kor had a stupid smile on his face in the middle of a coffee shop on a break from his work.

Laine was still at the shop, finishing up her last few piercings. He was grabbing coffee for the both of them, honestly, and a spot of lunch. Working with his fiancee, living with her, even going on patrol with her was something he liked.

Even she was super young. But she acted older. ... Most of the time. There were times she was acting her age and it made him roll his eyes, but at the same time.. He was glad she could do it. With the fighting, work, and possibly schooling? He was really glad that she could giggle and act dumb and not worry about things.

His first meeting with her was probably super awkward. Honestly it was a blur, so he didn't remember it, but he was sure he was awkward. Maybe she thought he was a dork. A very charming, good looking dork, but still an awkward turtle.

Kor walked up the counter and ordered his usual, along with Laine's and a couple sandwiches, some chips, and a couple slices of cake. Who didn't like cake? Plus, they had an hour long lunch anyway. Then he looked at the pie and frowned.

"s**t, would she like pie better?" And then he looked at the person behind the counter and awkwardly pointed at the cherry pie. "That too...?" He ran a hand through his hair as she gave him a look but nodded and boxed it for him.

"So, hungry today, huh?" She asked, smirking a little at him.

Kor just gave her a very unimpressed look and shook his head. "Naw. Fiancee has to eat too, you know."

The look of disappointment on her face made Kor feel bad so he just paid and gave a little smile. Food in hand, he wandered out of the store and just groaned loudly.

"Why is everyone so yooooung?"
