It felt weird. He had struggled and pushed and pleaded so hard to come to the academy. He wanted to get away from his family, his clan. He needed to find himself, and he had if not in the conditional manner. He had ended up in the mafia and he owed the boss so much, he was alive because of the boss. However before Vanna had realized it somewhere in these last few years something had happened, and his once hero had gone corrupt, paranoid and was hurting the family. Vanna had snapped in these last couple of months and in a gutsy move that his younger self would have never dared, he had overthrown his hero. He was now a Full-fledged Mafia boss.
He had been hiding it, and escaping from reality focusing more on his life at the academy. After all Vanna was only 18 and still in school. However all things came to an end and he was at the end of this stage of his life. He had passed his last class. He was leaving the academy. It was bittersweet in a way. He had met Eilwen here and gotten to reconnect with Mai. It was a place where Vanna could just be Vanna and not worry about anything else. Well for the most part. It was time to stop hiding and stop running. He hadn’t overthrown Demis just to let someone else take control of the family. Luckily Yami had to have been sent by the Nine and his right hand had kept everyone in line. Vanna was done running. He was going to throw himself into being a mafia boss.
Which lead to his next dilemma? He was well known, or more his family was. It wasn’t public knowledge that Vanna was now leading the group after all no one would suspect someone so young. Vanna had always been rather ambitious and apparently the boys had seen something in him… something that drew them to him. So he needed a cover story. It made him laugh. Some people went to university to further their education, to get nice jobs. Vanna was leaving school with an arch frenemy, a nice well-paying job and subordinates up the ying yang.
He wanted to go to school for psychology. The Nightmare and Daydream brain had always fascinated him and true psychology would definitely help him with his job. So he’d enroll in Asterion, because even the arch villains needed a cover. Vanna would probably never be a Hero no matter what he did to make his family a bit more, no matter how many retributions and paybacks he did. He was fine being the villain. They got the cool cats and lines after all. Besides University would also be a nice place to take a break. He did have a weakness for history after all. Life after academy seemed to scare some people. Vanna on the other hand was looking forward to it. Life promised not to be boring any time soon. Vanna was looking forward to it.
